Giving a guy 5/110 isn't locking you into anything, if anything it is giving you tradable contracts at 22 million a year. With the salary cap about to explode the numbers will be easily tradable.

The Spurs aren't giving away assets for an expiring when players already don't see the Spurs as a destination franchise, Wemby could change that.

Harris will end up being traded for a guy on a longer contract where the player is unhappy ala LaVine/Collins

I dont think so. Because then youre stick trying to replace Hardens spot in the starting lineup with someone on the very small bi-annual exception.

I feel Joel Embiid is the Terrell Owens of the NBA.

Like Lavine but if he’s your top guy you aren’t winning crap besides being a 8-10 seed in the play in game every year

Sixers blow this they gonna be pissed because Knicks and Heat aren't great

And butler isn’t completely healthy with him hurting his ankle couple games ago

so itll be the heat. Easy road paved to the finals if we can just win this next friggin game.

By the way, if there was no play-in stuff, the Heat would've been the 7-seed and played the Celtics in the first round.  The Hawks, who tied the Raptors for the 8-seed (and I don't know who would win the tiebreaker), would've faced the Bucks in the first round.  Things would be mightily different if the old playoff format was in place.

Al horford ending the sixers season would be on par for the sixers.

maybe we'll get scott foster & tony brothers!

Just don’t see a way they win a 3rd game in Boston especially the way the end of game 6 played out.  Going to need a Herculean effort.

Not so sure about that, you know Jimmy Butler is going to be motivated to stick it to the 76ers after they prioritized keeping Ben Simmons over him and the Heat have more experience with deep playoff runs and a recent Finals appearance. Despite being an 8 seed, I don't think it'll be an easy road by any means. Unpopular opinion, but I think the Knicks would have been the more favorable matchup.

Of course, this is all assuming a game 7 win in Boston.

Do it for Sam

I'm expecting nothing less than another flop.

Fire Doc and hire Monty

I saw this too. I don’t think it happens this offseason. I tend to believe if they fall short this year of moving to the ECF, he gives them a year to see what they do and when/if they fail in 23-24 to make progress then he asks out.

Sixers get crushed today.  Even worse, if they somehow win, they then fold and lose to the Heat.  The team is fatally flawed.

No.

Their fatal flaw has been that they don't match up well with Boston.

IF they can win today,  they won't lose to the heat.

Boston -6.5 is easy money

This a career defining legacy game for Harden, Embiid and Doc. Let’s see how they do. I already feel the pressure it too much for them to handle based on their post game comments. Maybe that doesn’t matter, but they don’t appear confident going into Boston today.

Certainly can see them cracking under pressure. They never show up. Hell, look at 4th quarter last game. And that should have been minimal pressure because they just had a dominating 3rd quarter, momentum, and lead to start the 4th. And it was still too much.

Scott Foster…if it wasn’t already over, it sure is now.  Easy money taking the Celtics today

I wouldn't count on it.  Last four years to four different teams.  They are flawed.

What a moron
