I’m pretty sure Tilman Fertitta is filthy rich.  Yes, he’s in the restaurant / food service biz, but I think he’s got a half dozen other businesses as well.

He was cash strapped when he bought the team.  His businesses had less than $300 million cash.  He sold $1.4 billion in bonds, took a loan from the previous owner for $275 million and an additional loan for $175 million to buy the team.  So while he's rich on the books, I don't think it's very liquid, which is why he's cutting corners/costs in all his businesses including the Rockets.

sixers' moves might not matter much. :meh:

That would suck.  Imagine trying to score on that lineup.  Spacing might be an issue for them on offense but you're putting 3 long all nba defensive players on a team.

LeBron knows he is over the hill i guess....

the league needs to get to a hard cap to cut this nonsense off

BTW the Bucks will be absolutely screwed if Giannis bolts.  They mortgaged their future to get Jrue, thinking bogdan was a done deal and that was gonna be enough to keep Giannis there on the supermax.

This league is a joke that players dictate everything.

They probably should have asked Bogdan before making thar deal.

Heat, Raptors, Mavs didnt make any moves thar would cap strap them for next year

I wonder if he realizes Brett Brown isnt here anymore. That was his big draw that made him choose us for less money last season.

It's always been that way..... It's just more players are willing to team up now.

Bam signed his max and Heat no longer have room for Giannis so might be a sign he stays with Bucks

Ingram signed his extension too. Now his salary will match well for a Simmons trade. Ill keep dreaming.

Ben's sister got no trade news.

Kings didnt match Bodgans offer with the Hawks.

I think Huerter should be able to be had.

I read that lebron and ad may some some things with their contract to leave room to recruit giannis next year.

the real reason boston didn't re-sign hayward:

Hawks are clearly pushing to win now and Reddish, Huerter, Hunter, or Collins are probably looking on the outside looking in. Even though have zero assets wonder if Morey is looking at them.

we have assets now. We got a whole bunch of expiring contracts. Thybulle, and Maxey

Wouldnt trade Mattise, or Maxey for any of those guys, but for a larger trade I would.

For the type of guys Atlanta has, the expirings and some picks could work.

Good god that is atrocious.  Athletes should stick with their craft, and leave music to the professionals.

pipedream, if the sixers somehow get giannis or we get a max player like curry, lebron etc and giannis bolts to the lakers and the rest of the division doesnt get anyone, we will be in the drivers seat to making the finals and first place.

We have the Curry/Curry connection,  and the Embiid/Underarmour connection with Steph.

I'm sure he will be playing in Philly before long.
