One of the PGs

Maybe Blake Griffen if bought out. I know he washed but shooting 36.5 from 3 is still solid for what we need.

If not,  Bjelica

Then we are set.

Blake hasn't shot 36% in two years. I rather find a guy that can play and not be injured.

hmm.. thats not what basketball-reference showed when I looked up his stats. unless I read the wrong line....

24% last year and 31.5% this year from 3. His per 36 is bad, and advanced analytics hate him. Two left knee surgeries in last two years

stats aside I know hes washed but Bjelica has been so bad I figured Griffin on a cheap contract post-buyout is better than giving anything up for the washed up traitor.

But, if Griffin is actually shooting well below 36.5% then yeah hes not filling the role we need. Forget that.

Bjelica just started to play again, not sure of he was hurt or out of the rotation. His first twp games back show good shooting numbers and rebounding numbers

Let's see the Hawks continue to play like crap, see if they want to shed Bogdan Bogdanovic once he is healthy, his 18 million a year salary, and just keep playing their young guys.

Something outside the box.

I could see like kork and green or ferguson and a first for him. I don't understand lowry hype at all due to age.

RIP

Shake isn't a ball handling guard though, he is better off ball. His assist to turnover ratio is 1.5.

Patty Mills, George Hill, Garrett Temple, Delon Wright, Lonzo Ball, Thomas Satoransky, Ish Smith, Tre Jones

yeah, which is why i said he can fill the role.  he's not natural at it, just the next most capable on the team that we use.  would like the bold / underlined for that role on our team though.

This kid was a lottery pick this coming year, but heavy character flaws might allow him to drop in the late 20s if want the risk.

supposed starting lineup:

Ben

Green

Seth

Scott

Harris

ben at c?  ugh...  i hope i'm surprised.

edit:

i may see y'all after the game..  if not, i'll be drunk passed out. 👍

Nothing to see here....Ben Simmons making 7 3-point shots in a row pre-game....

So frustrating.  He's honestly such a selfish idiot.  This play is sticking in my mind right now, but 2 days ago against the Suns, the Sixers were on a run in the first half.  There was 1 specific play in the 1st half where they could have blown it wide open.  They made a great play defensively, he bursts up the floor on a fast break, and the Suns retreat into their Ben Simmons rim protecting defense.  He had a wide open shot at the free throw line, got all goofy with nobody within 3 feet of him, turned around in mid-air, and turned it over.  Then Lillard drained an incredible superstar 3 immediately.  In the grand scheme of things, maybe that 1 play didn't matter, but it destroyed their momentum.  He drives me freakin nuts.

Jazz just chuck up 3 pointers

Seriously?  Why would make such a comment at this very moment?  Are you even watching the game?

Ben finishes 1st quarter with 19pts, 4 assists and 3 rebounds

No damnit!   It's not on in Charlotte unfortunately.  I have watched 75% of their games this year to this point.  I'm getting updates right now though, and the timing of my post was perfect!

we should know better than to get excited about 1 big quarter from Ben Simmons...

Lets see him find the will to care about a season rather than a single game with mounting external pressure.

We all know what he can be capable of. The issue is that he doesnt care to do it but for a handful of quarters each season.

Simmons can easily finish this game with 23/8/7 after that big 1st quarter. Or he might play 4 quarters and frustrate us for the next 3 months.

And yet again, the bench blows

If my timing is on point, then I guess I'll go with Seth Curry sucks, Tobias is still overrated and he's not aggressive enough, Danny Green should retire, Maxey should be traded too despite all his positive showings early in the season, and Thybulle should be packaged for a ham sandwich.
