Get used to seeing announcements like this. All he cares about is his money so they are going to take every dime they can. They are going to fine and suspend him as often as they can and given his behavior, there will be no shortage of reasons for punishment.  
 

Also, can anyone confirm that money recouped by the team for unpaid suspensions no longer counts against the cap. I think that’s the case but not sure.

Better back up 5 and 4 with having five scorers on the floor at all times. Talent wise, maybe not, but I think this team will really play together and Embiid is about to go ape crap. 

Just get a lead guard to run the offense and they will be.

Blazers and Wiz both 0-4 in pre season, might mean nothing or something.

Kevin Huerter was extended, but I really doubt Cam Reddish will be. Dude is still all potential but wouldn't mind him in a 3 team deal. 

We just saw Ertz write a full page ad on what the city means to him then in the afternoon get this idiot. Some guys just get what sports mean to this city and some don't.

I tend to disagree, honestly. Better front court depth, which is critical. And I may be in the minority here, but I honestly believe Maxey starting at PG will be a net positive compared to Simmons. No, he won’t be as good on the defensive end, but the offense will be improved. Both from him shooting/scoring and just from the improved spacing giving Embiid more room to dominate the paint. 
 

With this Simmons nonsense going on I just get the feeling that the rest of the guys are going to pull together in a big way, and Embiid is going to absolutely go nuts on everyone they play. 
 

I think we’re about to see just how badly Simmons screwed up the offense the last several years.

One final thought. I know there are still some here who have been big critics of Embiid, rightfully so at times, but I think even they have to admit that we have watched him maturing a lot over the past couple of years. He’s really becoming a leader.
