Youse ‘’guys’’ know what’s probably gonna happen, right? Ben’s gonna start the season playing well, leading Doc to think that he’s fixed him, and want to keep him, and he won’t let Morey trade him no matter how much he wants to. Then, come playoff time, he gets exposed again, and we’re right back here again next year.

1.  You think Ben will ever play in Wells Fargo in a Sixers uniform?

2.  Ben just spent his entire off season relaxing with this tail between his legs.  He has not improved except on defense the last few seasons.  So now, when he put no time in, he is going to play well?

3.  I'll bet you $10,000,000 of Bacartys "money" that he is not on this team after the trade deadline, and probably gone a lot sooner than that.

2. Everyone knows we’re desperate to unload him, and will probably wait us out in the hope that we’ll take next to nothing just to get rid of him.

3. Morey’s a seasoned pro who won’t take next to nothing just to get rid of him.

4. Doc’s an arrogant ass who doesn’t care what the fans think, and is irrationally confident in his ability to get the most out of his players, despite his never having done so before.

5. I watched this movie less than a year ago.

I am all for ditching rivers but who is out there as a better coach with an offense that works around embiid? Promote cassell?

I do not want this kid to be a trade fill in like Shamet.  This was a good scout and pick.  Let's reap the rewards.

Agreed.

I also don't want Simmons to play and take away minutes from him. I know Furk is slowly coming along,  but I'd like to play Joe over him. 

 

Exum is available though,  and we can use a backup PG.

Ben was a full participant in today's practice.  And when some of the players were asked about it, they were short and barely gave any insight.  This season is going to be interesting.

Ben is suppose to be available to the media tomorrow or Tuesday.
