Id love to know the 30 man list. And Id love to know why, with that many potential targets, they havent been able to pry any of those guys away yet. Cant think of any explanation other than incompetence or disingenuousness meaning, not actually willing to trade Ben.

I said when they gave Embiid the max, they have him locked up for the next 6 years now. Knowing that, the plan can no longer be to win now at all costs while Embiid is still here/healthy. The team is paying him for 6 years which shows they believe he can still be this effective for that period of time.

Harden already is a shell of himself and Embiid will never be healthy enough and for the love of God they aren't getting an all star for freaking Ben!! The longer he sits the more other teams are not willing to give up much because they still don't know what player they are getting. Ben with each week shows how much of a problem he is to go along with his last playoff exit.  

People holding out hope that the sixers will score an all star for Ben are as delusional as Morey is. Ben sitting on the bench while the team is in a free fall is most likely having other teams laughing at the sixers at this point. Like you said , Embiid health isn't going to get better they need help now!

If we are talking about Simmons like a stock, his value just hit a 52 week high when this team was on a 6 game winning streak not only without him, but basically without anyone. That showed the 6ers were wining and were never going to be desperate to settle for a lesser offer. At that point Morey should have gone to the team/s who offered him the best package and got a deal done.

Now, theyre on a 5 game losing streak, even while most players have returned. And.... teams are going to be happy to wait and watch and see how desperate we may become to add pieces to a struggling team that was supposed to have title aspirations. They missed a chance to sell high. Who knows when the next opportunity will be.

man Maxey is just otherworldly hops away from looking like a young D Wade. He is so quick the basket. Like when Wade was called Flash. Maxey is missing the thunderous dunk package though. But still fun to watch.

Yup and I've been saying it since this whole damn thing started it is stupid to just let him sit on the bench and keeping him around will be a risky bad idea.... All I got was well if they win they will get more value.. well all it took was one of Embiids YEARLY 1-2 weeks of nursing an injury for it all to go down the drain. 

 

Agree on Maxey, if Morey includes him because he played Ben wrong he should be fired on the spot

I wonder where we'd be right now if we had drafted Ingram at #1 instead of Mr. I Don't Want To Dunk Because I Might Get Fouled And Have To Shoot A FT?

Ingram would have allowed Embiid to have more space and not have to step out as much from the paint.  Would have been a nice 1-2 combo instead of the ish we got stuck with. 

If you're going to tank then you need to draft properly.  It's more about how the pieces fit than the individual player you're drafting.

The mystery with Fultz's mental health and physical regression was an absolute killer too. Someone on a facebook group just posted college highlights today and what a harsh reminder of how good he was. Its so disappointing.

You could tell early on that the team's energy was there.  The NBA is weird in that you can often tell early on either way if your team is going to be competitive all night or just mail it in.
