The first half was really ugly, especially the second quarter.  I was 99% convinced Young was going to hit a 3 from 10 feet outside the arc to win the game.

Sounds like catching the end of game highlights is as much of this as I want to see. 

how many sixers would you guys say are above average athletes for their position? i'm talking pure athleticism...running, jumping.

Maybe Thybulle, but he has no skill to show it off so he may as well not be.

Nope. I’m not including Maxey for a guy on the wrong side of 30. I’m still a big believer that the kid is going to be a star in this league for a long time.

Agreed, just thought it was an interesting take. I doubt any of that happens either. 

 

Read something today that suggested a Harden S&T in the summer is a possibility. 

Harden not likely to stay.  Morey likely to still want him. 

And a guy who is already 32 getting big money past his prime is a very 6ers thing to do.

After reading that I kinda figured that was bound to happen. It just sounds like a Morey move and a 6ers move. 

I hope god helps us and somehow a Shai G trade materializes before we get to summer cause if we get there, I bet Harden is happening.

I feel as though the wrong guys would go to get SGA. If it's the star player Morey wants I don't think he spares no player.

In the first tweet it mentions that we were offerec McCollum, a 1st, and a youn gplayer (Narris Little or Anfernee Simons).

Morey is a Fign idiot for turning that down and requesting more 1sts, and swaps.

Now if the new guy wants to come in and make Lillard happy, maybe we can meet in the middle and get McCollum, Simons, and 2 1sts.CaIf Morey Fs up this opportunity....

yeah...i thought about that while watching them on offense the other night. they have to run guys off multiple screens & dribble handoffs to free them up for shots...nobody on the team is just athletic enough to beat their man 1 on 1 with any consistency.

yeah. And they try to use Harris as their go to ISO guy, but he doesnt create space well with his dribble, isnt a good mid range shooter, nor a good 3pt shooter off the dribble. Hes not an ISO guy at all.  He gets his points off mismatches in the post, or catch and shoot 3s.

The best ISO player we have is curry. He has mixed results finding his own shot. But he is reliable on pull ups. Not saying hes a great ISO guy but hes the best option we have and they dont use him that way enough. 

Maxey will get there eventually. He has the quickness. Shot has to get better.

back on the portland thing....powell is the only young player i'd even want from them...but they're not trading him. their roster is pretty bad.
