Frankly don’t think the sixers want to make a deal for McCollum cause they really don’t value McCollum enough. It’s why they asked for all those picks when offered McCollum. I think the reason for asking for all those picks was they were hoping down the road to use mccollum’s money for matching purposes in a trade and flipping all those picks for a bigger name

If we can trade for CJ and get rid of Tobi before next off season, we could be onto something.

On a totally unrelated note, spacing will continue to be an issue with this team as long as Embiid lives at the 3 point line.

yeah...he would be an upgrade over shake, i suppose. backcourt could be a bit crowded with cj, maxey, seth, & simons though. i wish portland had a wing they could send philly's way.

Simons has a 6'9" wingspan so if wanted to go small they could. I am a big fan of versatility, but the problem is Doc is just old school and doesn't adjust to teams.

agreed. Nassir Little is an ok young player. But.... not doesnt do much for me in a trade. 

Would think you look to trade Seth and/or Shake for a wing then.

But Id definitely gladly take Simons and figure out the rest later. Hes good.

Also, when I saw Little play at UNC, I didn't see guard...I see small wing.  Definitely a deep bench guy.

He can play both.  He would be our best dribbler on the team, although that is not saying much.

Little is a SF with a 7'1" wingspan who isn't a very good shooter but has 3 and D potential. 

 

Simons is definitely the better of the 2 options mentioned.

Not sure about that, they had articles stating he was gonna ask for out... Then said that was BS and he is staying with the Blazers no matter what. Welp.....

Also I kind of think this is BS because I doubt Lillard would say he wants to play with Simmons because he knows that his long time running mate CJ would be gone and I don't think Dame would want to say that publicly.

Also Dame isn't going to say he wants a specific player and make the blazers have to give up more for him because their star wants him.

That is exactly the point.  The dude isn't dumb and knows his rep is on the line.  He will say stuff behind the scenes, get it to leak out, and then pretend he completely agrees with the idea so save face.  He isn't a moron, he knows he and CJ aren't getting it done and his time is running out...
