I can't remember the last time I listened to sports talk radio but back when I did they almost never talked Sixers aside from the Iverson era.  It must be painful to listen to now.

I guess it depends on what show you listen too and what time of the year it is.  They obviously talk a lot about the Eagles, as they should.  They are the radio stb2ation that covers the games.  But when it's not football season, they talk a ton about the Sixers.  I don't know about the morning show.  That is a terrible show so I avoid it now.  WIP never talks about the Flyers, that's my beef with them.  At least 97.5 does.  I only started listening to their radio show.  But will not listen to Gargano or Mike Miss.  They are both horrendous.

I tend to like Devon at night way more than the dbag giglio that’s on WIP at nights. Devon always has sixers talk when he’s on. Even in height eagles season cause that’s his background. His cousins is mikal bridges and he tried out for the bluecoats so he has some good insight into basketball stuff.

I usually don’t wake up in time and travel to work to listen to either morning show. The WIP midday show is much better than gargano. Mike miss is a blow hard. I can’t stand either afternoon show tbh.

I don't listen to the radio at night....and I would never listen to Giglio.  

 

I like Ike and Marks....They have a good chemistry with their producer...it gets fun.

The time difference on the west coast makes it so my ride home i get to listen to it and then at the gym I’ll listen to get me through my cardio.

I believe their producer is Jack fritz who used to be the producer with giglio. And does the baseball podcast with James. 

So they rest Joel tomorrow?

Kate Scott is brutal yes.  But GD these Hornets announcers are clowns.  Really bad.

What does it matter if they aren’t good enough with Simmons?  The real season starts in Feb. Let’s see what happens then.  Simmons is a waste of space when it matters and that is the playoffs.

Yeah.  The one response is from a WNBA fan.  Stunning.  And I love when people like that automatically go the "masculinity” or sexist route.  Like Hurts and race.   No.  She sucks.  There are things women are superior to men at.  Doing play by play for a men’s sport is not one of them.  

I'll take the road win anyway we can get it.  Heck, the Nets lost at Houston tonight. Albeit no Durant or Aldridge...but it's the Rockets.

Even if it’s not here, he should be trying to somewhere that gives him a legitimate shot at winning a title. He’s never winning there and they made so many bad moves and attempts to build it into a contender.  Portland is a mess and their roster is just good enough to be a 7-10 seed. They have a bunch of guys coming off the books after this year but they have roughly 108-109 mil dedicated to just 6 players on the roster in 2022-23. They have little cap space so they’d need to make trades to improve. I really don’t think mccollum’s value is going to net them something back that allows for them to be a contender. I actually think at some point Portland (and was reported  some feel this way already) might ask him to allow them to trade him so they can rebuild. Cause eventually his value will completely diminish and if he signs that extension and he does they wind up getting nothing for their inevitable rebuild.

I couldn't care less about who the announcers are quite honestly.

Powell move last year was just dumb. Should have traded CJ instead of Trent for a wing, now they are just Fed. CJ is close to untradeable for me.

Big snow storm expected here tomorrow afternoon and evening (Minneapolis) so I am now departing on a 758am flight tomorrow, meaning I’ll have an entire afternoon and evening to kill in south Philly tomorrow waiting for Saturday’s game.

No, I just watch the game.  The voice of the commentator doesn't bother me, cause in the end its the players playing I care about.  But you do you.
