Yeah.  They would trade Embiid and get nothing back.  The team tonight would be the roster after a trade.

How "Lock Down” was Thybulle tonight?  For those of us who couldn’t watch.  They only have up 126.

He had one deflection but other than that, nothing.

This team has a profound lack of aggression. I don’t know if it’s the personality of the players they have or the coach or what. Embiid has aggression, Curry most of the time, Thybulle sometimes, Drummond sometimes. That’s about it. Harris is the worst offender. He seems to disappear for long looong stretches. There was a game against the Knicks last year right after he got snubbed for the all start team where he took it to Randle and played really aggressively and was totally dominant. Haven’t seen that since. I’m so sick of him right now. Maxey is still way too timid. Passes up too many good looks to pass to guys who are well covered and end up taking bad shots because it’s late in the shot clock. I’m hoping he will grow out of this. This team seems poorly constructed and directionless. Embiid is the lone bright spot, and they suck without him.

Anyone but Eric Bledsoe, a bag of basketballs would be better

76ers are 21st in defensive rating this season.  they were 2nd last season. offensive rating hasn't changed much...14th this season & 13th last season.

i have no idea how they come up with these ratings but it does show the impact of not having ben's defense.

[Anderson] Sources: The Sacramento Kings are not pursuing Indiana Pacers big men Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner, but Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons could still be a target as they look to trade Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III.

Offensive and defensive ratings are just points per 100 possessions.

Adding to that,  I read that the Kings haven't budged on their offer.  They're still not adding in fox or haliburton.

It's a good thing that they've banned Kyrie Irving from their facilities, or they might have a real problem.

That wasn't the Nets' choice -- it's a city ordinance.

Felt this way listening to bodner, Pompey and hofman talk. They’ve all alluded to this for a while. I think there’s a chance they wait til the offseason to make a move. Pompey a point which sounded like it came from someone inside the sixers that if they don’t turn it around and are meddling then there’s less chance they want to make a move. The reason was because it likely isn’t turning their season to be a legit contender and to beat someone like the nets, bucks, warriors or suns so they rather wait to make a move til the offseason.

This season thus far sure feels like a "throwaway year"

So basically tanking the season.

there's no realistic simmons trade that wins them a championship this season, imo. not yet anyway.

it would be interesting to see if ben would sit out the entire year though.

I don't really see one in the off season either. Everyone they are looking at now hasn't been playing that great and will be another year older and so will Embiid. Also like the article says if they wait till then and still come up empty it will be an absolute disaster
