I’m still going to call Freedom Enes Kanter just like I still call the WFT the Redskins.  Y’all can’t stop me.

 what’s Bill Simmons doing there?

good one, Bill.  F’n putz

I'll take Haliburton and Hield for Simmons, Kings are dead as usual.  Or....Portland ****s and is going nowhere......come on Lillard.  Or finally, Ingram straight up.

Embiid leads the NBA in clutch points per game.  He was leading with 5.8ppg but after last night's 3 mid range buckets to win the game,  he is at 6.4ppg.

Love that Embiid went nuclear with BS in attendance. Cant wait to see see how he spins this. Or suppose he just won't acknowledge it happening.

[Pompey] Sixers coach Doc Rivers on Ben Simmons’ absence: "We don’t know what we are yet. Ben hasn’t played in a game. You can see the glaring holes that he leaves us. And you know, he may or may not play. If he does, great. If he doesn’t, then whoever we get can help us…"

Seems like doc is done playing this game and just wants more help.

Murray went for 24 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists last night. What could have been

well, he had to put isiah joe in the game during crunch time last night...so i can't blame him.

How?

Ingram is the only guy who could make that work from a Salary perspective

If the trade were really about picks for Simmons and they are just trying to match salary, they could combine contracts of Hart, Graham and/or Valanciunas to match money, depending on how many teams are involved and what players No would ultimately get in the deal.

I find it impossible to believe that Lillard can be happy in Portland.  Unless he is truly not the Alpha I thought he was.......if he is a person that wants to win, and demands it.....he should be demanding his way out of there.  But if he is on the downside, and just feels comfy in Portland, let him stay there and go target someone else.   I mean Jesus, they are in 11th place in the Western Conference, and just lost to the Pelicans!  I'm really starting to lean towards NOT wanting him and getting Murray and other players/picks from the Spurs.

The Kings, as of last summer, were reportedly highly unlikely to trade De'Aaron Fox. Not even for proven All-Star Ben Simmons.

But now…

Tim MacMahon of ESPN:

It was widely reported going into the season: De’Aaron Fox is off the table. Sir, I’ve heard a lot of smoke that that might not be the case at this point.

Brian Windhorst of ESPN:

De’Aaron Fox came to camp about 15 pounds heavier than he left.

It wouldn’t be totally shocking if the Kings trade Fox. The general manager who drafted and hyped Fox, Vlade Divac, is gone. Current Sacramento general manager Monte McNair drafted other guards, Tyrese Haliburton and Davion Mitchell, in the last two lotteries. Fox had a terrible start to the season.

But trading Fox now would be selling low.

The 24-year-old has already bordered stardom and has the tools to break through. Fox has gradually regained his form, perhaps as he plays his way into shape.

Yet, if Fox continues to play better, the Kings will probably be more reluctant to part with him. Fox and Haliburton can play well together, and Mitchell hasn’t proven to be a worthy long-term building block. There shouldn’t be urgency to move Fox, a talented young player who’s the first season of a five-year max contract extension and seemed to want to be in Sacramento.

A Fox trade would require another team valuing him more highly than the Kings do and having the right pieces to send back. Possible, but not likely.

Still, Sacramento even being open to trading Fox is an interesting development.

Murray should be the target but way he is playing might be too late.

I tried......

I brought this up in the offseason that Amin ElHassan who worked at ESPN said he believed the kings would trade him cause it’s not the original GM in place that gave him that extension. I’m guessing he probably heard some things around his circle as he worked in the nba and as an analyst

I just finished this pod. Bill is extremely high on Joel as a top 6/7 guy and how Maxey isn't a lead guard.

Is Young playing tonight?  He was out last night but not sure if that was rest or if he is injured?

Maxey is coming off the bench so they can start Kork? Ummmmmm
