The McNabb puke joke is valid. He went out drinking all night before the super bowl and played hung over. Brady conversely was focused on the game. It was a business trip. All of the Iverson criticism you guys bring up is likewise valid, but he at least showed up for games.

Yeah. Totally valid. Completely believable that the at the most intensely covered sporting event of the year, with dozens of cameras, not a single one picked up any evidence but it definitely happened because Freddie Mitchell said so. Oh, and TO. If you can't trust TO and FredEx, who can you trust in this crazy world.

McNabb had a bad game. The idea he was vomiting on the field and no camera caught any evidence is laughable.

The reason McNabb is hated is similar to why a guy like Schmidt was never embraced (obviously, Schmidt was a much better player in his sport). McNabb wasn't gritty/emotional/fiery enough for this fanbase (see Garcia, Jeff), just like people complained Schmidt didn't seem like he cared. They saw Iverson get slammed around, get up and do the Hulk Hogan ear thing to the crowd. So they overlooked all his faults (didn't play the team game, didn't practice or improve, etc.). It's the same reason a guys like Kruk and Dykstra (before he went insane) were so loved -- because Philly likes guys who give the appearance of effort.

The other reason McNabb wasn't embraced? Well...this is touchy but...he was too black for white fans and not black enough for black fans. The guy took crap from Rush Limbaugh and the head of the Philly NAACP. That's got to be a first.

Has anyone other than TO said this or has it been proven?

He puked in a regular season game against Tampa too. That I had on DVR. We rewound it and watched him puke in slow motion.  So I believe my own eyes. It's not about believing Freddy and TO. It's about the undisputed fact that the guy is an alcoholic.

Right, so if the cameras caught it happen in a random regular season game then it most certainly 100% didn't happen in the SB.

Ok, so am I allowed to dislike him for being a fat out of shape alcoholic who underachieved throughout his career and puked against Tampa even if he was on his best behavior in Jacksonville? I think so.

Sure. Do you also dislike Iverson for underachieving throughout his entire career as well? Especially considering he's considered one of the best to ever play in the NBA.

I think Dick Vermeil and Vince Papale were alcoholics too.  They puked.  Together.

Not good news for you Harden fans.

Before my time. I'm not that old.

Yes. I particularly dislike what he did for his final act here. He lied about his daughter being sick so he could quit on the team. It was disgraceful.

Fair is fair.

You specifically referenced the Super Bowl. Not a regular season game in Tampa.

The rumors started two weeks ago he wasn't happy, then is reported Simmons is vaccinated 7 days ago, more Harden rumors and Ben is in shape and practicing well, then this the final touch of him trying to force his way out.

Specifically I don't like him because he was a fat out of shape alcoholic. If we want to pretend that he somehow resisted the urge to get plastered in Jacksonville, that's fine. Doesn't change the fact that he was a fat out of shape underachieving alcoholic and that's why I don't like him.

Thad Young as a buy out guy for PF.

Thad is good for this year. However you still are going to have a long term issue at PF with minimal space to fill it. Granted I’m guessing with embiid and harden here someone who wants to try and win a title would come on a veteran minimum deal and you play that game.

that Said i rather just hold on to Harris this year because next year at the trade deadline, he actually becomes more valuable because he’s going to be an expiring contract at the 23-24 season. Which means you actually trade him and not give up a lot or even get back someone to take him.

unlikely trade and i didn’t include the picks going to the pacers but would actually allow you to keep Harris and do a deal in the offseason or deadline next year

Fair enough. I just won't accept this idea that he absolutely puked in the Super Bowl when there is zero credible evidence.

This is the most annoying thing about this fan base lol. You can be the worst player in the world but, as long as you act like a jack ass and hustle even if it amounts to nothing Philly will love you forever. That's why so many dopes are stuck on Hurts now

So the Nets are pushing for both Maxey and Thybulle plus Simmons? I want Ben gone, but the F out of here with that. Hope Morey laughed in their faces if that was their ask.
