Nets, Bucks, and Sixers all got better. It's a 3 team race unless Bulls make a move and Vuc remembers how to play basketball

A couple days ago I didn’t think it would get done until the off-season. I still had it wasn’t gonna get done until the off-season if thybulle was going to be included that deal. They were never going to give up thybulle knowing in the off-season they could get James Harden without having to give him up. I think they’re OK giving up Seth Curry in that deal because they’re not gonna give him an extension after next year because it’s gonna be way too costly for them to do it at 33 years old.

I think the other thing that came into play is that Brooklyn saw the writing on the wall that if they kept James Harden he was going to do what he did in Houston and then leave to go to Philadelphia in the off-season and they get nothing if the sixers moved Harris.

I’m not a big Harden guy, and would have rather seen them do the Kings trade, but this is at least better than going through the rest of the season with no Simmons and no replacement.

He's a great passer. We can let Maxey play off the ball and I think the starting 5 becomes dominant. It's only the bench I'm worried about.

Agree.  I don't mind sweetening the deal a little to get it done (add this to quotes that apply to your mom thread).

Howard Eskin said weeks ago that Morey was a fraud and this deal will never happen because the Nets have no interest in Ben.  It was at THAT moment when I knew that this deal would get done.

I can't either. At least I admit to being wrong... What I don't see is anyone that crowned the nets to be champions and untouchable and sucking their nuts the last 2 yrs as being wrong.

better rebounder than you think too...7-8 per game is really good for a guard.

I am in the camp that rebounds are a tad overrated because some teams want their guards to push the ball initially and thus they let guards get rebounds
