If you see this guy in the street are you thinking professional basketball player?

Harden and Harris for Mitchell. Yes.

I actual was just doing them for McCollum and Ingram on the trade machine a few minutes ago.

Nope. We do not want Spider. He is a schmuck and hogs the ball. There is a reason a small market team like Utah who can't get anyone to go there is talking about trading him.

Small weird dynamic with the pats. Ben won rookie of the year and sixers fans defended Ben and trolled him. Now we would be on his side.

Then you’re going to hate a lot of pro athletes nowadays if that’s your reasoning.  Because it happens all the time now. Pro and College.  And he wasn’t "given the starting job”. Good good man.

No I'm going to hate or dislike the ones that do it to the teams that I follow. And yes a lot more players do it now than they used to I recognise that.

Figures it would take a TATER to bring a QB/Wentz argument to a sixers thread when the vibes are good! Get lost!

You do understand that is how the modern NBA is played the stars have a usage rate around 30 to 35%

Small market teams can never gets guys to to to their teams so how is that different.

It seems like Embiid is really climbing in to the elite rungs of guys who have ever played the game. Not just for centers. But players. He will need some longevity which remains to be seen. But the other thing he needs is a whole bunch more Ad deals. It seems harder to be recognized at Center when youre not as frequently making the flashy play where you are breaking ankles and hitting a big shot off the dribble. Embiid does some of that but its more frequent and noticable in guards. For the big man to be a real superstar recognized outside of fans of the game, he needs to get on a bunch of commercials. Maybe some cameos in TV shows or movies. Like Shaq.

His personality reminds me so much of Shaq. Probably why I have a love hate relationship with him as a fan lol.

Embiid should call Shaq, the dude is the ultimate self promoter and just draws attention to everything he does.

May be an image of 5 people, people playing sports and text that says 'I still can't believe this team didn't win a championship PHILADELPHIA 76ERS PROJECTED STARTING LINEUP erson PHILE 25 Cma PHILA 17 o CLIPPERS 34 PHILA 23 PHILA 21 Ben Simmons JJ Redick Jimmy Butler Tobias Harris Joel Embiid VIA DEANSCORPION_'

You can draw a few parallels between this team and the nets. On this team Ben is the 4th or 5th option. The nets have at least Durant and Kyrie ahead of him as well.

People think he is going to be a great fit in Brooklyn because he is not the 1st or 2nd option, and he doesnt have to play PG. He can play the dunker spot.

Think back to this team. Butler ended up playing PG. Harris played point forward a lot. Ben moved to the dunker spot pretty much full time. They already tried exactly what Brooklyn's plan is for ben, and he STILL cost them in the playoffs.

Thus Embiid wasn't utilized correctly with Ben around the rim and a reason they lost. Joel was at the 3 point line giving handoffs to JJ 100 times a game.

In most matchups like the Bucks, Ben can play the 5 and be in the dunkers roll and not worry about KD or Irving not having space to work.

Great, he is involved in plays. Did you watch every Jazz playoff game last year? Why did he get criticized as soon as they lost? If you did you will know the answer. You'll also know why the Sixers should not go after him.

I did, context matters, and I'll take the guy that wanted to play in the first series even though he was hurt and the Jazz kept him out.

You want to blame the the Jazz playoff losses on Mitchell, but not Rudy who became unplayable when the Clippers went small against them. Or the fact that his only other shot creator, Mike Conley played in 1 of the 6 games.

At that point Mitchell was playing with a bunch of older role players so of course he will force more shots and try to hunt his shot.

Vs the Clippers

34.8pg, 5.3 assists, 5 rebounds, 45% from 3, 44.5 FG%

And in elimination game he went for 39, 9, 9, 60% from 3 and 44 FG.

So yeah I would take Mitchell.

Well, I live here. I listen to what they consider local sports radio. Many disagree with you as do I. Again, there is a reason the moment the game ended talk began of trading him. On top of that there is a reason he and Rudy are rumored to be bashing heads. Hard pass.

Oh so your take is sports radio talk. That sure is a good starting point to say a guy is trash or not. Were they complaining that he isn't white enough for them? Come on do better than saying welllll sports talk radio said.

The stats back up what Mitchell did vs the Clippers and he was Fing awesome especially in Game 6.

Who gives two craps about Rudy. Dude is a regular season player until proven otherwise. He should be gone at the first chance they get but the rest of the league saw him get exposed but Batum, old Nicholas Batum.

No, my take is watching the games. The fact people who cover them agree isn't a negative for my stance. You are out of your depth on this one and playing the race card? Get real dude. Yes, he puts up a lot of points, but he isn't a team guy. Think what you want I couldn't care less. He isn't going to the 76ers and smart people wouldn't want him vs other options.

Kate Scott with the Sam Goody reference after that dunk.

Lmao

I caught that too.  Kids go get a poster of that dunk at Sam Goody?  She's like the female Phil Rizzuto or Myron Cope.  Where does she come up with this stuff.  😄

I checked wikipedia.  There’s only two Sam Goody stores still open in the U.S.  Which shocked me because I was sure it was going to be zero.

Sam Goody and Kapaya on the same night.

Didn't see it posted yesterday,  or confirmed by Windhorst but Woj reported Harden and Millsap passed physicals yesterday so trade is officially complete.

Some people wondered about Harden's hamstring.
