I wouldn't say good. It's pathetic and if they are going to win he needs to pick it up.

They’ll need him in the playoffs. For instance against a team like the suns that’s a game where they need him. They might get 85-90 combined from harden, embiid and maxey. But thensuns have a trio that can match that. So Harris production looms larger then and becomes much more impactful so you don’t have to rely on guys like thybulle, niang, millsap, kork, shake and green to make up the difference.

If the sixers can somehow get 95-105 points out of maxey, embiid, harden and Harris they are going to be really hard to beat.

Exactly.

Tobi picked it up in the 2nd half. Much more involved.

4th quarter to be exact. Came up big down the stretch (8 points in the 4th and 3 rebounds). He needs to play like that. We are going to need him in the postseason.

44 FT Attempts and they hit 88% of them

I'm at Disney.  I watched a few minutes in the 3rd when NY cut it to 1.

Then I checked the score later and saw a big win and hardens triple double.

Nice!

Great to have a guy on the team whose triple doubles actually correlate with a win.

Honestly never even felt like the win was in jeopardy, even when the Knicks went ahead. Just felt pretty clear that once the big three were back out there together they’d put it away.

Yeah 29-16-10 is a different kind of triple double than we’ve gotten used to.

Ben is obviously the better defender (though Harden really stripped a lot of balls today), but it’s pretty obvious that Harden is even a better passer than him. So basically with Simmons second biggest strength he isn’t even as good as Harden.

But sure, the Nets somehow won the trade. 😆

He’ll be instrumental in a playoff win when needed.

Maxey might be my favorite athlete in Philly right now.  He and Mailata.

Still wish they signed a G and better C on the buyout market. It's great when they are up a ton, but in a tight playoff game their bench concerns me. Doc will never do it but I'd like to see Joe get a lot more time leading up to them. He could be that spark off the bench

If they want to win a title he has to

Yep, he’s quickly climbing my list. He’ll be the star they start to rebuild around in a few years when Embiid and Harden fall off.

That’s why I was adamant in keeping him.

I was hoping the game would be on my cable given the early start but alas it was not.  Saw the highlights though.  An excellent start for sure.

I just may have to buy the NBA package for the the rest of the year.  The problem is the 7:30pm games are 1:30am starts for me.  Looks pretty cheap though.  All Sixer games for the rest of year for $55.

They have to want to come to Philly. And Doc doesn't play young guys, he stunted Maxey growth last year
