June 1, 20241 yr Author We went to Franklin Field (where the Eagles played from 1958-1970 for those not in the know) today for our nephew’s track meet and decided to make a day of it in Philadelphia. Visited Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Stopped off at Commodore John Barry’s statue and got some pics in honor of my Uncle Barry who recently passed. He was a historian and worked for the National Parks Service doing tours, recreating the crossing of the Delaware and other nerdy endeavors. He was named after Commodore John Barry who we are related to (as well as Samuel Adams!) That Irish side of my family has been settled here since colonial days. Nice afternoon. I recommend everyone visit to remind you of the brave men and women who founded this country and how important liberty and freedom are! Last pic is at Franklin Fountain. Delicious ice cream made on site in Old City.

Cool story and I love that you @paco are giving the kid some history exposure (even if it's from the perspective of the colonies ). I have a relative that played on Franklin Field in the 60's. It has such a cool history. I was once hospitalized at UPenn medical and my room was on the top floor facing north and overlooking the field. Every day I sat at the window when they would let me just so I could look at it . btw please tell your family to bring back Sam 76 because I can't find it anymore

We love history in our family. We joke that we should get free access to the Barry bridge and free beer for life lol. Franklin Field is very cool! My dad was talking about how the last time he was there he was 5. His dad took him for an Eagles game.
June 20, 20241 yr Can’t wait to take our kids back home to the Philly area with the family when they are older @paco @binkybink77. We took Hudson when she was 1, but obviously she didn’t know what was going on, but at least she met her great Grandma! Here are a few updates on the princesses that I stole from our local Charlotte social services @Bwestbrook36.

June 27, 20241 yr Author Many of you may remember the pic that started this thread. When we brought Ellie home from a month long stay in the NICU where she started at only 4lbs, the first thing we dressed her in was her tiny Eagles cheerleader outfit. It now lives on her Cabbage Patch baby we’ve been trying to get Jason Kelce to sign for almost 2 years. My sister and I went to the Team 62 event at Ocean Drive in Sea Isle last night and finally got it signed! Autographed by Jason Kelce, Brandon Graham, Landon Dickerson and Beau Allen 💚 🖤🦅
July 28, 20241 yr We found this box turtle in our pool the other day and our youngest grandson was fascinated with it.
October 12, 2024Oct 12 A couple of Hudson and Hayden. It’s incredible watching them grow up where they are now hugging and kissing each other whenever they can. I have seen Hud stick up for her lil sis a few times now and it makes me wanna melt. Like they already have each others’ backs at 3 and 1. 😂 I was an only child and I’m clearly still a new father so it’s all new to me. Also, I did not sneak those cool photos of my Halloween decorations at my house by accident 😘

I thought maybe the killer nightmare fuel was pulling the kid out of or putting them in it. Also are they going as Dorothy?

We went to the Land of Oz a few weeks ago again and dressed them both as Dorothy (lucky for us it was before the hurricane destroyed western NC). They’re going as a witch and a pumpkin this year. ❤️
