Reagor better pick it up this year or I am penciling in Olave from OSU next draft lol

No! Please no. The Eagles keep focusing on a position in the draft that they never succeed on. Find somebody PROVEN in free agency for that position. Same with LB.

Wait. You don’t pick your guys? How do you AVOID getting stuck with Cowpie, Gnats, or Deadskin players? No chance I would want any of their guys to do well.

No you usually do I just missed my draft so the computer picked for me lol

That has led to failure every year. Promote from within, but you cant do that unless you START. If It was my team we would have JJ and Smith already. Adding Olave completes the trifecta

"proven" Djax? Tate? Alshon?(yeah there is your proof lol), and while I am not against picking up a few BU's with experience, LET THE KIDS/Stars of tomorrow PLAY. Besides that you save a TON of money. Would you rather have a draft pick get hurt and have to ride pine,or a guy you spent 12 million on? The answer is easy for me

Top QBs in college having some rough starts… UNC QB had like 3 ints and Rattler just threw a pick on his 2nd pass attempt

They musta gone to the "Wentz school for inept QB's" over the summer

Tate was a trade and Djax was originally a draft pick…. Alshon when we signed him as a FA was fine extending him was dumb lol

Its a balancing act I don’t want to be GB who never signs anyone but I don’t want to have to overly spend either on FA.

My preference in FAs is guys enter there prime like when we signed Jenkins at S wasn’t my first pick at S but he did fit the age bracket was like 25-26.

In my FF league news picked up AJ Green need some WR help figure might as well take a flier on green as WR #2 for AZ… They love to pass and Dhop will take most of the attention

Tate,no matter he wasn't raised in house Djax was turned loose(or escaped depending on your view), then we PAID to get him back. Some we got lucky on, like Wallace. My point is this is the first year we have not had to hunt for WR in many years

I haven't signed up for Fantsy this year yet... Time to make some deposits...one week to ATL...FOAMING at the mouth in anticipation of a winning season .E.A.G.L.E.S.

Lot of guys aren’t raised in house doesn’t make them bad players…. Brooks was a signed FA great player… Jason Peters we originally traded for another really good player, Asante Samuel really good CB…my point being signing or trading for players isn’t a bad thing just have to be smart with it.

And there's the rub lol. Usually it's more LUCK than skill finding the right FA's. When you bring guys up from within, there is no 'adjustment" time, they already know the playbook and this year we have FINALLY avoided going out scraping the barrel for WR's to play for us. I never said I was against FA's,but if I have the staff I promote from within. Of course that also requires smart drafting and Howie blew it taking Reagor over JJ or we would be in even better shape now going forward. I'm sorry I still am not a Jjaw fan. He does just enough to make the team like Dillard (that's not good enough for me). Those 2 and Reagor need to show me why we drafted them. Mailata was a very pleasant surprise. At least we didn't waste resources on him like we did with Hollins,Jones, MS2 and a slew of other losers. Maybe we're starting to get it right, but we will know that soon enough. BTW I am referencing "skill" positions because that's where the problems lie. We've always had pretty decent linemen for or drafted. Now we need to take the next step

SO, why aren't we signing some of these guys? Moreland would be fine as a BU. I posted Samuels who could start on the PS and maybe work his way onto the 53. Howie was asleep on AGG. McKinney seems like an upgrade to our BU LB'S? But we're keeping Jjaw around? I hate that guy, he makes ONE play when he has to,sloughs/disappears,effs up the rest of the time, but that ONE play when he needs it,to keep the paycheck coming, keeping himself on the roster. I don't like the guy, sorry and I cannot wait until he is off this team. Dillard is the same, does just enough to stay here, not trying to get better, just making a few plays to stay employed and I don't like people like that and I also know the FO doesn't care what I think lol

That’s because you don’t appreciate that we busted a big play because JJAW was down field blocking to extend it….or that he is a core ST player. He needs to make more plays by catching passes agreed. But I think the other receivers need to do the other things like he does.

If Slay or Nelson (or both!) go down the secondary is in trouble.

I’d say if Slay goes down

I do think we have some quality S options though

You have no clue. If Reagor sucks you can bet we will. He best post some damn stats NOW!!!! Sloughing off is the thing I hate most. His route tree still STINKS. I hope he's not another Hollins or AG head case. Of course Howie blew that pick anyway or we wouldn't be talking about it. I will still dream about Smith,JJ and Quez starting

ATL LG Josh Andrews broke his hand. Rookie third round pick Jaylen Mayfield is expected to replace him Week one.

Welp the staff thought highly enough of him to put him on the 53 over guys like Jaquett and your boy James. At this point it’s have to trust Gannon and Co. was likely his decision.

Hargrave sounds like he has been having a great offseason. I know some weren’t happy with him i his first year here but after the injuries and switching schemes he really started to come on toward the end of last season and really seems to be building from it this offseason. Also can double as a NT if/when we give the 34 looks on D that it seems like we are going to do.
