I guess I’m the only one blaming Siri. He’s pretty green. Gotta expect these up and downs. I just want him to develop our receiving corps for the SB winning coach that comes in next.

Yes, he's green. But who's to say he can't win us a SB? This is 1st chance he's had to run his own show.

IDK,how green can you be? I mean it's not like he hasn't been exposed to the pro game. I could see if you dropped in a HS coach, but really who can't comprehend an A gap running play? Coach Siri- "Jalen, hand the ball to Sanders, and you guys up front block a little". We ran this play when I was 8 playing in the street

I have Sanders in one more week, then I will have to pull him if he doesn't get some dang points. If I have to bench someone in Fantasy,it's not long after they need to benched for REAL

I mean I realize Sanders is a good rusher I mean 4.5-5 yards per carry that about as good as it gets on the nfl… Also realize that Philly just isn’t a running team. The balance is little better now with Hurts running but even when he is running half of those(if not more) are designed pass plays.

Lmao our only SB winning coach was Doug Peterson a green coach… Hell even Frank Reich was fairly green as a coach both Doug and Reich had about as much coaching experience as Siri and our OC has now

I’m expecting growing pains but in all honesty I think our coaches have the making to be pretty good if we actually give them the time to grow on the job.

Any word on Mailata?

I'm watching RB Spiller right now for A&M. PPF ranks him(right now) as pick 46. If wanted to add the the RB stable,he's really the only RB worth taking early

He's out for Mon night

So now if Mailiata is going to be hurt alot,we need to keep Dillard. SO much for trading him away lol

Kinda nice when your BU is a #1 pick

I actually approve of the plan to not overuse Sanders. I do think the plan is to resign him. He just had a bad season last year(along with the whole team). I’ve been expecting them to unleash him this year and next though.

That's a benefit of the RBG approach.  And we still have Howard and Scott who haven't even played yet.  That, coupled with Sanders getting dinged up a bit all give good reason not to overruse him.

Great, no need to overuse anyone. Alot of our team are on rookie contracts- OVER use them!!! 14 carries 55 yards last week, WOW  the definition of overuse. What's the point of having stars if you don't play them? makes no sense to me.We're saving for a rainy day that isn't coming anytime soon

And yet I was almost alone in liking that hire

Gainwell was a great pick - but he was a 5th rounder for a reason.  He didn't come from a big program, and it's quite a jump from Memphis to the Philadelphia Eagles.  Chip Kelly once said that rookies don't even know where the cafeteria is.  Point is that there is a LOT going on to being an NFL player.  This means there's a lot that can go wrong until the player gets more experienced.  You want to set these guys up for success now and down the line.  Overusing a green rookie risks setting him for failure by hurting his confidence as a result of mistakes made due to inexperience.

Nah, Pederson was a seasoned NFL player who had a long career.  Had a nice stint as a coach learning under Andy Reid as well.  Same goes for Reich.  Both of them had a few laps around the block in the NFL before they came to Philly as coaches.

San Fran is a tough test. Got arguably the best Dline and the best LB in the game. Warner really was the game wrecker on the field. Tough to keep messing with that guy. We all saw the game. You saw him dominating and you still thought run? I don’t know. He was dominating.

Noone is overusing Gains,I'm talking about Sanders. He(gains) fell to round 5 because most teams either had RB's in place,or had drafted one. If Gains picks up steam as the year goes on,I am all for overusing him. Lord knows we need a running game. As far as being green, plenty of players get tossed into the fire. WTH are you saving them for if they are effective right away???  I have no idea what your definition of overused is,but we better start using SOMEone

IDK Dullaz LB's seems the best to me(and a few are still learning). We may open some holes on the line, but I think it will be tough to get past their 2nd layer and it will be even tougher to run the edges,so I am not expecting alot out of Sanders(again) but he needs a big game at some point. I'm kinda with Joe, at this point he seems "expendable" unless he starts showing something. He's just kicking me in fantasy. Again for me this is a TE game like last week, but we didn't use them as much as we should have, and if that happens again,we aren't winning this game

What's your take on getting Howard and Scott into the mix?
