Dude.... pay attention,  if the Colts are out of the playoff race....that is pick 10-15..... there is a HUGE difference between that and a pick in the 40s.

Sure but week 12 is a bit early to decide you are "out" unless they lose every game from now on. We know Wild cards go to week 14 /15,so 12 is too early unless like I said they lose every game now

Again your stating what I said from the very beginning they would only pull Wentz if they can’t make the playoffs lmao

Right.... what we all are saying.   I'm just going one step ahead and seeing they could easily be out of it after 12 games

Correct .... why I have been negative on this whole thing since the jump.   But I want the front office to get the blame.  Every time I hear someone say " run the ball" or anything else..  to me it takes focus off of the idiots who failed to put anything around the former QB and decided that a guy like Hurts was the right pick.      So run the monkey mouse offense for the mickey mouse QB....that the mickey mouse front office wanted.    This is the reward they get for not giving the previous coach and QB anything to work with for 2 years.

We have been blaming the FO for a long time/ Only one that matters is Lurie and he's fine with it. Lurie is not listening to anyone but Lurie

And I'm saying if they pull Wentz in week 12, he will ask for a trade and make life miserable, just like he did here, because he is an Alpha personality and he will demand to be traded,or they wont need to worry about tanking,he will do that for them

GB.... follow me here..  like really follow without the usual thing you do ....

Week 12...  right....  2-4 currently.    Next week they play Tenn.  If Tenn beats them... that would be twice and they get the tiebreaker.  In essence that's extra game lead.    Weeks 11 and 12 are vs Buffalo and Tampa.   So in the very possible scenario they lose to both of those very good teams... that would put them at 5-7 at best,  with the tiebreaker going to Tenn.

If Tenn is 7-5.   That's a 3 game lead with 5 left to play.    Tenn has an easy schedule at the end...it's very possible and more probable thst Indy could win the last 5 games in that scenario and still not win the division.

Is a wildcard possible?  Sure, but we will see... right now it looks like the easiest way is to win the division.  But my point has always been, as Eagles fans, we need Indy success until its a lock.  Then we can prefer Indy to lose.

He has no leverage.  Indy has it all.  They don't have to pull him week 12... they can just not start him after that if the math isn't there.

GB... you are Carson Wentz agent.   Who will trade for your client at this point if he wants out of Indy. Reich is his guy, what other team will think he is worth it if he wants to leave Reich?   Wentz will never be traded from Indy..  it will be a release.  In that scenario he loses $$$$.    You are the agent.  Your client gets to take 5 games off and have his team get a high first round pick... or he puts his body on the line for a long shot that his team can make the playoffs this year, but lose that pick?  Knowing that Indy is his chance and your chance to keep making the high salary... what is your advice to your client?  Is it sit out, heal up and run it back next year with a better team while getting the $$... or be a dumb @ss and cause problems so you lose your job and if you get another one, it won't be for any real $$$.

You don't need leverage, just start throwing picks, they will find a way to TRADE YOU. Not rocket science here

Well you are laying out the perfect scenario and I doubt all that happens. How about we wait and see what week 12 looks like???? Noo said "win the division" but they could be around for a wild card,so you pull Wentz anyway?

It doesn't matter what his AGENT wants,he will do what WENTZ tells him to do.He works for him,not the other way around. If I am his agent , I do what he wants me to do or i loose MY job. Not hard to grasp this concept

How do you throw picks if you are not in the game?

Why wouldn't he be in the game unless you are pulling him next week if they lose?

Why don't we wait until week 12 instead of pissing into a fan over conjecture??????

Not laying out any perfect scenario. The chalk right now would be for Indy to lose those 3 games.     Yes, let's wait and see for sure, but again,  fans being happy Indy is losing and thinking it helps the draft pick need to slow their roll.   Gotta lock in the pick first.

I don't think Isray is losing sleep over it

Because after week 12... if the scenario happens like I said...  they would bench Wentz to keep the pick.  . No need to do it before the end of the Tampa game week 12.  He can throw picks from that point if he isn't  in the game...  can he?

It's not like their world hinges on the next draft pick, they can go get FA's like anyone else

why would they pull him if they still had a shot at a wildcard? They would have to lose every game from now until week 12. You must have borrowed Ham's crystal ball

Anyway,I will wait until week 12 because there are numerous scenarios in 6 more weeks(maybe Wentz gets injured)

Not really dude....that's been my point.  They go 3 and 3 with one of those losses being Tennessee... that puts them at 5-7.   Could easily put them in a situation that winning out and going 10-7 still doesn't get them in.   That is the week.... week 13 that would get the 75% snaps.   He won't get benched before then, no reason to.   But if it looks very very slim, I'm sure they will. Would be dumb not to.

No kidden.... the whole discussion is about possible scenarios....lol.     for now,  the Indy vs Tenn match-up next week...  Eagles fans should be rooting  for Indy.

We should pull Hurts NOW, use the punter and ensure we have the #1 pick next draft

Why... you think Hurts will prevent you from losing?

If we tank really hard we can get that 1 pick

You see Detroit winning 3 games?

Lmao your the only one talking tanking Colts would just be getting Wentz not to play 75% of snaps they could easily say he is "hurt” wouldn’t be the first time teams lied about injuries

Bingo!    And let's be honest,  it's an easy player to sell this for!

Would depend on other teams W/L as to who had a shot at a wildcard and it's highly unlikely you know that at week 12

I think they have a better chance of winning 3 than we do(unless we slop out anther win)

Yeah, you could easily get a feel for it .... AFTER week 12...  AFTER,  AFTER,  AFTER week 12.

I disagree.... they would actually need to win 3 games...   we need just 1.   We play the Jets too.
