So what would you say if the Eagles rankings were something like this:

Karlaftis Edge

Gardener CB

Linderbaum C

Booth CB

Lloyd LB

Wilson WR

Ojabo Edge

Olave WR

So the Eagles Draft Gardener, Linderbaum and Ojabo. You upset with that? Assuming Wilson is drafted before the pick at 19....

I am just showing that The Eagles may have players ranked differently than other teams and you. They may say Wilson, Lloyd and Booth are all equal as talent but they list them as priority of need....

Perfectly fine with that stine. They don’t believe in taking the LB.

There is a first time for everything Ham. Will they change to a 3-4? if so, they have to grab LB's....

Yep, they drafted MS2. Off the ball LB is another thing.

I do not have faith they will draft the right people, no matter what position they play. I am Hoping they do. If it is WR, LB, DE or C it better be a stud....

Daxton Hill they are saying could be the fastest guy this combine. He runs under 4.3 he’s gotta really be knocking on the door for us. To have a FS with that kind of ground he can cover would be huge. Not too mention his recovery in potential Man-up coverage situations.

With Burks size you have to think he can really lock in at the top of this class with a stellar time. Undeniable talent and athleticism.

Adam Anderson has been charged with rape. Totally dominant Georgia LB up until that suspension. 6’5” 230 lbs. Most considered him as more of a Rush Backer or Edge player. Could run a 4.4 forty.

Tariq Woolen is a 6’4” 205 lbs CB from UTSA. He supposedly can really run. 4.3 forty guy.

If they are equal... then the LB will be ranked last for the Eagles   Let's be honest.

Better be a stud regardless of position.

If we go by history, then absolutely. I am not so sure they ignore this position this year though. Simply because they have 3 selections in the first round. We will see in about 8 weeks...

I am not as concerned about speed as I am can the dude cover? Tired of going for speed when the CB gets lost.... Darby could flat out run, but he could not cover anyone to save his butt.

Let's concentrate on Film please..... Teams tend to take way too much stock on the Measurables, which is a mistake IMO.....

Been plenty of talk from many(including No Mas) of trading back. Haven’t heard too many thoughts of trading up. So many possibilities and combinations of trade options.  We obviously have the ammo to most likely get anywhere in this draft. What you think 16 and next year’s first gets us up to?

IDK but seems to me Gardner is one of those 1 in 1 million. Put simply he has never had a TD scored against him and although I suspect he gets beat some(just do to the sheer talent level upgrade) in the Pros, he will make like miserable for most QB's. IDK what price you can put on a shut down CB who can do that as a rook right out of the gate. With him and Slay it would make life tough on QB's. So if he drops far enough to where we would have  shot at him,I would take that shot

Like Hill alot, mentioned him in many mocks

You have to be leary when watching film too. Small school,he could look impressive playing small school guys. many times, this won't translate to the NFL unless you have the luxury of sitting him a year and bringing him along. I don't think we are at that level,we need our draft picks to PLAY

15: WR Garrett Wilson Ohio St
16: CB Sauce Gardner Cincinnati
19: DT DeVonte Wyatt Georgia

3rd: C Alec Lindstrom Boston College
4th: LB Troy Anderson Montana St

5th: Punt God

Gardner not making it to 16,you can dream if you want to. If you want him I think you have to move to get him. I suspect he goes in the 11-14

Well, Talent scouts take into account the level of competition when looking at film I would hope! The same goes for speed. The player plays for a D2 school but runs a 4.3 40. Do you take him simply because he is fast?

No,that's why we took Reagor. He's fast, but he has no skills(JJ was FAST AND QUICK). We can't make that mistake again with WR's or secondary players. I tend to look more at cone drill and shuttle times, that tells me they are fluid and can turn on a dime, which is needed at the NFL level. FAST vs QUICK.I will choose quick every time

Here's a guy we are overlooking. He could be a first round choice. Smaller school, but at his position that won't matter as much. Bernhard Raimann G Central Michigan. He would give us another young lineman to go with Mailata and Dickerson. Now the only worries are Lane and Kelce replacements. Check him out. This is definitely a Howie type pick

You just said we need to look at the level of competition. Cincinnati's Competition:

Murray St

Temple

Navy

Tulane

Tulsa

East Carolina

Houston

SMU

UCF

USF

They did get their butts spanked by Alabama and they beat Notre Dame, but that is about it for Competition. Stingley from LSU and Booth from Clemson have much more competition and better film to look at.... What WR's has Gardener played against that will be drafted in April?

I am not saying Gardener is not a Solid player. I am just saying we need to look at who he has lined up against when doing a fair evaluation...

I feel if we have a decent shot to Gardner we need to take it,but could require a  move up 4 spots. The next CB for me is Booth who we can probably get where we stand. So the question for me is is gardner worth the move up. I think he is,but I doubt Howie would make that move, so now I need to center my mock around NOT getting the guy I really want. I think Booth would be fine,so I will proceed on that premise. Pity we kept winning needless games or gardner would be an Eagle without a move

Gardner still gave up no TD's against Bama(none throughout the playoffs). One would think that would be an obvious "go to" for bama?. He shut him down  Lets remember he gave up ZERO TD's in FOUR YEARS,that is not easy to do. Gardner has not reached his ceiling,he will get better vs better competition. he gave up 131 yards ALL SEASON
