So if we made this move, this would set me up(pick 32 from Detroit) and taking my WR Watson(a bit of a reach but he could pan out to be a nice WR) there, then adding the other 2 I mentioned

Read that number again LOL and he is a Bigger WR. I suspect my dream of getting him in round 6 needs scrapped

But can he catch the damn ball?

If you traded pick 16+ to the Jets at pick 4 for Gardner, would you do it? Thats a shut down corner for 5 years minimum

I really like Sauce. But we are still sitting in a great spot for corners. I like Booth and McCreary. Wilson is the guy I think I’d trade up for. I think he might be in range.

Booth and McCreary though are not shut down guys, sauce IS. Slay is getting up there and we will need to replace him at some point also

They always catch them on highlight reels LOL. Don't see any major issues. he has small hands, but with his speed he gets open,so if you have an accurate passer,I would think he is fine. They said he has "sticky fingers' although a small hand size, so as a project guy I would have NP taking a late flier

Stingley is the wild card. He might be in range also.

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/tyquan-thornton/32005448-4f79-7153-e52f-fb28090a0034  Here's the lowdown. Seems to me for a late 5th or our last pick he would be worth that minor investment. if he didn't pan, not really a big deal

IDK it's going to be a wild ride

I know one thing for sure….I’d clearly take the shutdown corner in Jalen Ramsey over the RB Elliott.

IDK Im thinking Davis and Johnson first 2,then trading the 19 pick to Detroit, picking up Watson at 30. Maybe get Detroits round 1 pick next year(how good can they be LOL) That would set us up to get Young at QB

Thibedeux has lost steam. He was the top guy most of the season. Now….he might fall to us. He’s not falling because of measurables or doubts about his talent or upside.

If he has lost steam why would I want him? WHY is he losing steam?

Round 4 RB pick. Runs a 4.37. Keep the RB room fresh

Exactly what you have to break down and evaluate. He’s super talented but didn’t really dominate like he should. Also some talk that if he didn’t win quick he kind of accepted the loss. The opposite of a high motor guy. He might be missing the intangibles.

Walker had such a great combine many think he leap frogged him.

4 more weeks of this.

It’s year round for FL. He’s already researching 2024 prospects.

At least now…..it’s actually that time. Nothing much else going on but waiting for the draft at this point. Everybody has been doing a snap by snap breakdown of Wentz preparing for this draft. Gotta be one of the most anticipated drafts for our franchise.

Then let someone else take him lol

Think about that situation. Do you want the guy with lower ceiling but all the intangibles? A guy that’s hard working and will reach his ceiling? Or the super elite freak….that you question if he’s motivated?  Kind of like at QB. You cry and complain about the blue collar amazing intangible leader because he doesn’t have a cannon arm. I find those guys easy to root for. Feels like you’d rather go with a Ryan Leaf type because he has the mega arm. With Thibedeux you got a serious bust factor. But the highest ceiling. If a coach can get through to him you got a stud. At DE at least you don’t have to take a leader do much. I feel like the more quality leader hard working types you have the better team chemistry is. You can work through some rough patches. The Me Me Me types start leaking stuff out of the locker room. So I’m not just all about talent. But would love to add an elite pass rusher. We are eagles….feels like always our priority. Feel like we are going Dline for sure. This is a franchise shaping draft. We have a great draft all of us will be happier people. We blunder this draft and I just feel like all our attitudes will go to crap.

You said you’d still like to take Ojabo. He’s not a safe pick. Even before injury. So I’d think you’d swing for Thibodeux if he falls. I think he will. Might just be a case of overanalyzing. Feels like him, Hamilton and Stingley have slid a little. How crazy would it be if we walked away with those three?

As a fan of Hurts I wonder how much his job is on the line based on this season. He needs playmakers on O though. Smitty gets injured he’s screwed. So if the goal is evaluate Hurts then we have to focus on O in the draft. Give him a real chance. He’s not Superman. But I do believe he can get the ball to guys to make plays. That’s enough for me. Don’t have much for playmakers though. Him carrying the offense by being 80 percent of our production just isn’t a winning formula.
But there is also the overlooked part of how much a D effects the O. Those brutally long drives against good teams killed any chance for our O to get any momentum. Felt like we were giving up 80 percent easy completion underneath to any capable QB. That’s the kind of stuff we talk about when trying to beat the best QBs. Keep ARod or Brady off the field and out of rhythm. We were giving up long drives ending in points the whole first half against good teams. Then the O is forcing things. They are cold with no momentum with extra pressure of playing catch-up. Not winning football.

Your talking the most talented guy in the draft. Was everybodies first pick the whole time….until the end here.

You mean like Ojabo? 🤣 Btw if we traded with Detroit, we may just be able to get him at 32 or maybe a slight move up

So it's OK for Thib, but not ok for Ojabo . Why is he not a safe pick at 30-32? He needs experience, but all rooks do,he just got a late start. He can learn while he is healing. I think he has more upside than Thib, and since we're not going to the SB this year I can wait

SO did Wentz and we didn't provide them

Then why isn't he going at #1 if he is the most talented in the draft??????
