I’m not so sure Fletch is totally on the downside and falling off. Sounded like Rosie ****ed at him about not coming in in shape enough. He’s going to have to really commit if he wants to keep it up in his thirties. If he puts in the work he can still dominate. All up to his work ethic. Can’t just get by later in your career. Gotta want it. Maybe this whole situation of cutting him and resigning was the wake up call for him. Can’t see how he’d not work his butt off next offseason. Contract year this year also. Good time to give him that check that you mean business. Very loud and clear message sent. See how he responds.

Doesn't matter. At this position it's difficult to play until you're 40. We need to get his replacement in

Then why didn't he last year. It was an opportune time to shine vs all the beat up teams we faced. We wanted to get younger but here we are hanging onto old men again. Didn;' we learn anything by now?

I saw where one guy has 8 WRs in round 1??

Yeah there is a big fall off after round 2(and only a few guys worth a round 2 pick)

Seems like a deep WR draft

Nah,there are alot of good round 1 guys,a few in 2,then it falls off quite a bit to project players

Anyway my interest is towards Tindall at LB. I think he would be a good prospect, but you guys are better on the D side than me

Cox is not JP...not close.  Cox logged a lot of snaps.  People worry about his stats... focus on the success or lack there of when he was on the bench.   JP on the other hand didn't make any difference the last couple of years.

Well at hi9s age he could be approaching that "JP" phase and I think we better get some BU in here(I mean worthy a BU not a bunch of bodies)

Question to you.  How much money was Cox going to receive prior to the release/ resign.... vs his new salary?

Not really approaching JP yet

The luxury, when you have multiple RD1 picks, is that you don't have to focus in on one or two glaring needs. The Eagles need difference makers on offense and defense at all positions. On paper, the defensive line is a position of strength, but Fletcher Cox won't make it to 2023. If this is Cox's last year in Philly, he could go out in style alongside Javon Hargrave and Jordan Davis.           I wasn't looking for this ,but found it on Drafteks mock lol

Forgetting Milton in there. He’s going to explode this season.

I would think Davis is better

Draftek mock(I have some others I don't like) 1-Davis(check)  1-London-I don't like USC WR's personally, maybe the Eagles do. I would rather have Olave than a slot WR  1- McDuffie(fine with this pick) 2-Brisker-S- this is ok  3 Tindall-I have this pick here also  4-Spiller-RB(I have Strong in round 5- Clemons-much too late for an edge guy IMO Shaffer-had him on some mocks-like the pick here. The rest I never heard of lol

Cox should not have any effect on the draft.  Davis or any other DT should or shouldn't be an option based on who else is there when we pick.  Needs galore with this team. Even if Cox is all pro the next 2 years... there is still a need to get better at DT and everywhere else.

The Cowboys are currently at +1700 odds to win the Super Bowl next season, meaning if you were to bet $100 on them, you would lose $100.

Right, according to most DT or edge will be the first player we take. Like you, I assume it is a need because of Cox's age and they are available throughout this draft, but of course the earlier the better(in theory)

Yeah, the earlier the better for every other position too.   Of course being Eagles fans we know the LB is the first pick...lol

Feels like the one thing we know is….Rosie won’t just sit still and pick.

Saw a mock where they had us taking 2 LB's in round 1. I got  good laugh out of that

Kinda addressed that in FA,not that we won't draft one,but think it would be another later BU/project thing. I REALLY like Channing Tindall in round 3. He is underrated(for now)
