How many times have we seen"proven" players die with their new team?

The guy can line up at any receiver position in any formation. He can line up as RB. Line up as the Wildcat. His talent translates to every offense.

We gave up a our first and third rounder to get Smitty last year. I’m thinking the price is fairly close to that for Deebo. Of coarse there is the money. Gotta pay some guys.

We can get a top guy opposite Smith without giving up ANYTHING. I don't understand why this is so hard You have at LEAST 4 top notch WR's before pick 20,just GET ONE

We can't run simple slants, forget the more complicated stuff if we can run basic plays

I just rather pay Slay and Deebo level guys than players not even with the team any more.

We paid Djax and Alshon, how did that work out? now you want to sell the farm for ONE WR? If my star WR gets hurt,I would feel alot better paying him a rook salary than multi millions. If I wanted to invest in a value BU WR,I could see going that route

It’s the popular rumor based on many facts that Deebo wants to be traded.

SO why would be want to come here? I'm sure he wants to go to a SB contender team, not a team in rebuild

Although I will admit early on I wanted Robinson on my team. However he was a FA not someone I would have to sell the farm for involving draft picks. he would have been a straight up contractual deal

Alshon won us a Super Bowl. That was great!

Smitty and Quez ARE on rookie contracts.

https://www.nfl.com/players/devante-parker/ You got guys like this going for a 5th lol

And we paid them again when they BOTH went down

Right, and you have issues with these 2??? So many issues with rooks that you refuse to keep doing that?

so say we go out and blow the load on Deebo, then Quez contracts comes up,then Smittys and you know if you get Deebo on a multi, that we would STOP drafting WR's in round 1 because if you draft a guy in round 1 you ASSUME he will start. So now you are going back to what we finally lost, barrel scraping for WR's in FA because we didn't draft any. Imagine JJ,Smith, and Quez. The Reagor pick messed up the pipeline, the Smith pick got it back,so lets keep the rooks coming in,now they are either keepable or tradable when the time comes and you are not locked into 40 million bucks paying WR's. If I am ONE WR away from SB contention, then you would have a point, but we aren't close to that

What are the facts?

Everybody gets that drafting the greatest players is the best path. But I’d consider every path in building a great team. I just don’t feel as confident that every first round pick in this draft is going to be a great player. So we could draft a bust. Draft a decent player. Or draft a great player.

He deleted every Niner on his social media….while his agent has been working on his extension. He tweeted about it better be 25 mil or we aren’t interested(something like that).

Why did he delete everything 49ers?   Do you know what triggered this?

McClaurin, AJ Brown and Samuel are skipping the offseason workouts.    Samuel was getting death threats on 49ers stuff ...it's why he deleted everything 49ers.

Good luck with 25 mil.

He's getting death threats,I would delete everyone too

Yep, Howies needs more work. 3 guys I want for this team at WR. Wilson,Olave.Burks. With Olave you get another clone of Smith, but he is SMOOTH and a great route runner. If you wanted an opposite type WR,the big possession guy I go with Burks. IDK what they want on the other side. Both make sense, but there are only 3 guys for me. Not thrilled with london as some are and Williams is a risk if he can't come back 100% from his injury,so those 3 are the solid bet IMO. Olave gives you a reliable route runner who will be where he is supposed to be,with Burks,he may fit HURTS better as the "oh well toss it up" but if we want a top QB I would go Olave

McLaurin is a nice WR!!!!!

SO I checked Draft diamonds 7 round mock(they did it LIVE which was interesting to listen to the banter back and forth). They have alot of the same or similar guys I do. Here's their mock  1-15 Burks-WR(I prefer Olave, just a question of what you want on offense), 1-18 Booth-CB  2-51-Bonitto-Edge(had him here also if we missed on Johnson who we COULD move up for)   3-83- Troy Anderson-LB(I know nothing about him I guess I need to look,I prefer Tindall ) 3-101-Nick Cross-S(have him also and love this pick right here) 4-124-Ridgeway-DT(had him in once, but not presently) 5-154 Malone-Edge(know nothing about him) 5-162  White-RB- nice pick here. 5-166-Steuber-OT-time to develop him 7-237-Roberson-WR -the "other WR from SMU. I would be fine with this draft.

After looking at Malone he seems to me to be more of an OLB,which is fine since we already chose an edge guy

To get Deebo it would cost 25 mil per year contract(minimum) plus you would have o give up a first, 3rd and 4th round picks. Is this team ready to invest over 100 mil on a star player? Are we willing to give up all that draft capital when we need almost every position?

Yes...because if you are a fan of Hurts and want to go all in with that style ...Deebo is perfect.

I don't think better for team success...but if the goal is simply to justify Hurts as a starting QB, a guy who can run, and who can turn a screen pass ( Hurts best throw) into some serious YAC...then Deebo is the guy.

I don't think it will cost that much either in $$$ or in terms of picks... because i don't think he will be seen like that across the league, but at this point I would assume the Eagles would have to outbid a couple bad teams that have more  cap space and better 1st round pick.

NO! The team isn't near that point yet.
