Yeah we have White for a year(Chargers fans were "dumbfounded" they let him walk). So White could stay in or not. He's(Dean) a bit intimidating which has been missing from this team. To get a round 1 talent in 3 was terrific value and really we are gearing towards 2023 anyway right?

White's only 26

Daniel Jeremiah had Dean as his 17th best player, we got him at 83 - pretty good deal when he gets healthy

From the Inquirer;

Howie Roseman: "Nakobe Dean is going to be on the field for rookie camp this week.”

The #Eagles GM confirmed the concerns about Dean’s health but said he doesn’t need any major procedures.

Howie Roseman also said that Nakobe Dean and Cam Jurgens were the #Eagles’ top 2 prospects on the team’s board at No. 51.

Don't overthink... just like last year.  Take the players and move on.

The " we could have done this instead " is every year.   Just focus on the moves that were made.

Tomorrow doesn't matter who we draft.. all that matters is the group of players we end up with via any means necessary.  UDFA could be just as important.

Yes, have to say I'm pleased with the draft to this point.

Question for you.  What does addressing the secondary do for you?

Say the team realizes it needs a new QB.  Would it be beneficial that the defense was good and so we win more games and pick lower in next year's draft?     That's what an immediate improvement would do.

A pick like Cam is one for the future.  He will be there for either Hurts or the next QB.

To me, I don't want 10 wins because the defense was very good.  I want the QB to put up points and play well.  Does us no good to want to replace the QB who wins by handing the ball off and his defense carrying the load.

Sounds like how Elway won his Super Bowl. I was definitely NOT a fan.

Our defense is far from SB level.  But we've seen QBs develop well over the years having to light up the scoreboard due to poor defense.   Want to see Hurts pass the ball a lot more this year.  The numbers were low due to the opponents in a fair amount of games just being pathetic on offense and we were able to get away with running the ball at an unrealistic amount for the modern NFL game.  I'm not looking for one year band aids on defense,  get some young guys in here who can build and be around for a while.

Dean? How? I wrote him off when I saw the Eagles took a Center.
Maybe Eagles don’t need another WR,  BUT IF (i doubt it happens) Shakir from Boise State falls to the 7th round, this kid is QUALITY people and is a Sunday player. Hightower was NOT a Sunday player and the Eagles took him. Shakir will stick in this league! Catches everything and sees the field exceptionally well. High football IQ!

Im with you on this for sure. I was disappointed the team gave up so much to move up two spots but whatever. Maybe Davis is all that. His film makes me wonder. He looks lazy on many plays and I heard that Georgia rotated their D line more than any team…meaning plenty of rest.

somebody mentioned how he compares to Cox…definitely a different guy. Cox’ film was constant effort, disruption, and domination. I didnt see that with Davis.

I want to see Hurts have to win throwing the ball. Im not sure he can do it consistently. We will find out. I expect the Redskins to be MUCH better and challenge for the division. Cowpies are still the favorite. Eagles are a big question mark.

You mean like the Eagles that use a heavy rotation on the D line…

Ok yea won’t quite be like college that had way more then 8-9 guys to rotate between but point being the Eagles love to basically have to units to switch back and forth from so guys stay fresh

If he wants to stay the QB this is the only way for that to happen. Again I don’t see Lurie and in extension of Lurie Howie sitting idle with a run heavy team.

I have to say... I can't kill the Eagles and Howie for their picks so far. Jurgens is good value and a long term need. Dean on paper is tremendous value and look LB is of course a position of need especially long term.

I really do like what they've done so far but man I'm terrified of that secondary. In terms of numbers they can line up but it is going to be ugly at the moment! I mean really ugly. And I'm not sure how they are going to address it really.

I still say the NFL should have increased the roster limits and salary caps for the extra game. Wasn't it only 12 games when we were kids?

Yeah, these guys aren’t making enough money. Get them above the poverty line

That would be awesome if we could do both. Dean lacks a little size, but he's super fast with a "vander Esch" attitude

Not the comparison I’d make

This is just terrible logic. Borderline not even a fan. Make good picks. Sign good players. I’m not a part of hoping we lose each Sunday. No proof picking high like the Lions is the way to win. Great picks happen every round of the draft. To me this is just screwed up. Not the way I want anybody to think in this organization. Loser mentality I won’t be a part of. If they purposely try to set themselves up as losers….then they are losers. We have our differences but this is a new low for you. If you root for us to suck….you aren’t a real fan. I don’t care your reasoning. Go be a fair weather fan of somebody else. Plenty of crap teams that get high picks plenty. Go root fur them. This is despicable!

Honestly, screw all this. Think Rosie is finally on fire. Great draft last year. Kicking butt this year. Washington is a wreck if an organization. Dumpster fire. Embarrassment for the whole league. Skins have some talent but everything else is massive turmoil. Cowboys lost Cooper who took them and Dak from sucking to looking like paper champs. I wasn’t all about Davis. But he’s the biggest baddest dude that runs like a LB. Feels like coaching can get him to whatever you need. Just plop him in the middle. Tell me a C that can move him. I sure can’t. Georgia was so freaking talented. Overloaded on defense. Could have fielded two great defenses. We are the best team in the East. Legitimate second tier in the NFC. I respect your opinions always. But here….your flat out wrong. We have a good solid team. We are big and physical. That’s our identity. Teams will struggle with this in the age of finesse and track stars. Reddick makes a difference. Brown brings the ninth ranked offense to serious legitimacy. Dean is a playmaking stud. Total steal. You hate Hurts. Blinding ya. Do leads. The guys believe in him. He’s a winner. Whatever it takes. Continue to knock him for your perceived weaknesses. Think it’s all crap. Other ways to win in this league than having the best QB. ARod been the best. Won once. Have you not seen this. Your caught up like just too many. Just need a guy who won’t shrink in the big moments at the position. We got that. Let the playmakers make plays. We are a tough team. Better have an extra week to prepare for us. Because we going to punch you in the mouth.

We are a tough big physical team. You going to eat all this crap. Stand tall. Have a backbone. Or hate your team. I don’t care. We are trouble for the NFC.

We are going to smash teams in the mouth that's for sure.

I don’t understand you guys. You just have all this vitriol for a second round pick that was second in the Heisman to the guy that broke every record and willed his team to the SB. I don’t get it. He’s a scrappy guy that doesn’t have all the measurables. Too short. Came from a colllege system. Elite runner. Benched in college. Took it like a man and came in to win the big game. Moved to a whole new team and lit it all up. Came in behind the uncoachable Primma Donna we traded everything away for. Paid the guy in front of him the biggest salary we’ve ever done. What’s he done. Persevered. Overcome. Just keeps doing it. No idea how you can’t root for an underdog like that. Not even getting into how positive a guy and player he is. Just a top notch person and underdog that just keeps proving everybody wrong. I will ride with this guy to the end. Build the rest of the team. Maybe he isn’t MVP first team All Pro. You got your head stuck up your a**.  Chase that top QB and follow the rest of the lemmings off the cliff. No original thoughts here at all. Just single minded low football IQ here. Plenty of top QBs around. Clearly not enough. Sure I’d love it if we got the crazy top QB. Feels like borderline traitor stuff at this point. Feel like too many are rooting so hard against Hurts….you want us to lose for what…like 20 games….some talking like a whole other season. I’m just not buying this BS. Support your team or beat it. Two…three years of hoping to lose….makes you a loser. I can’t have it. Put your all in to win. Work for it. Earn it. You **** will take us straight into Lions land. Losing sucks and breeds losing. I won’t accept losing. We might not be the most talented. But fight to the end. You give your all and lose…..I can respect that. Anything less I’m done being a fan.

Lmao 🤣 I’m fine with us being a tough physical team but if you are delusional enough to think Lurie is going to accept a run first team I can’t help you

This is exactly how I see you in your delusional bias of Hurts.
