I LOVE the Eagles. I don’t cheer for any other sports team at this point. My truck is covered in Eagles’ stuff, my golf bag, head covers, golf shirts, tshirts, hats, etc, etc - ALL EAGLES! People that know me say I am the most passionate Fan of a team they know.

Maybe I am too caught up in the wrong things. I don’t hate Hurts. I’d love for him to lead this team to 17 wins plus three more. I do see his limitations though that may very well limit his long term status as a starter in the NFL. I’m not naive. I’d trade the whole team for Patrick Mahomes, minus Cox, Kelce, and AJ Brown, but I recognize there is only one Patrick Mahomes and he isn't going anywhere but KC.

Heck, I hope the Eagles dominate this coming year. Nothing would make me happier. Hurts is a likable young man. Hope he can find ways to overcome his limitations.

Yes, I really liked Wentz a lot. I was mad when they shipped him off. But it’s done and over. I hope they can find a guy with that kind of arm talent that is also a better leader and teammate than Wentz. I don’t spend a second in the locker room to KNOW if that is true, but something has to be amiss with Wentz in that respect.

So on the Eagles go with Hurts. They have surrounded him now with elite talent on offense. If he can’t win; or rather score 30 points per game on average, then he will have to look in the mirror. Yes, coaches need to have good gameplans, but execution is on the players and that starts with the QB who touches the ball on every play.

Correct...said plenty of times it wasn't the Eagles fault that their opponents were getting crushed with inuuries...you play who is on the schedule and you never play to lose.

My point renains...they haven't beaten  9 win or better team since I made the trip to Buffalo on Halloween weekend 2019.  Ryan is going to be the only starting QB they beat ....when has a playoff team beaten only one starting QB?    

One year of that screwed us in this draft.    Two years of this,with the $30 to 50 million decision with Hurts coming up could screw us for a long time.   We need to know our QB can beat some legit competition and not by handing the ball off 50 times in a low scoring game.

Lamar is a regular season statistical stud... Baltimore has gotten nowhere in the playoffs with that run first style.  The QB needs to pass at an above average rate to win in the playoffs in the modern game.  Good defenses won't allow you to just run on then all day in the playoffs.   And the Saints from out matchup last year is not the offense we will see I'm playoffs...regardless of how statistically good their D was.  Playoff teams will have an offense that will score enough to where we just can run and occupy the ball and eventually wear out thr other team.   That works vs bad teams...not good teams in 2020 football.

I would feel better going into 2023 with a lesser record but with a higher scoring offense and competitive games vs good teams.     If they win 7 games but Hurts plays outstanding, especially as a passer... I'm thrilled.   We can absolutely build off of that going forward and with the extra picks the next 2 drafts and some cap space opening up.    And much easier to build if your franchise QB is on your roster. Pay him early so you save the cap space and go from there.

Worst case for me...10 wins with so so QB play but the older players on their way out have great years.   Does nothing for my future.

RB's and P's on a run now. Maybe that leaves us a CB. I know Ham is high on Ariza who is still on the board

I'm not sure why Ps are going off the board but Ariaza isn't.

Maybe,there is the CB from Bama,but I think Castro-Fields is a better fit at CB and there is the S from Oregon up

Kaylon Barnes-CB from Baylor still there depending how far back we moved

Barno(listed as a LB) could actually play edge. He is listed on some sites at edge,but not on the live draft board
