Excellent... punter needs to be taken before we focus on QB.   Punters are key to SB winners.  The Rams guy is a stud.

No we need to focus on extra LB"s we don't need and since we did NOT address the secondary WHATSOEVER(which we could have gotten at LEAST a BU CB or S in round 5) lets trade back and grab another LB after we ignored that position for years, but spent money on it in the off season. So if we're not addressing the secondary, why not bring in a better P? NO, NO the idea is not to improve whatever you can, it's to load up on an ignored position this time because we have ignored it in the past and continue to ignore the secondary

As an Eagles fan this draft kinda stank

We don't really have much to complain about and we can't have that.

This QB from Nevada, Carson Strong, is supposed to be the best udfa. Wonder if the plan down the road is to trade Shew

After the draft we had 14 open spots on the 90 man roster

Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama: The Eagles know they have a hole at CB and are trying to fill it. The Eagles are signing Jobe from Alabama, according to Matt Zenitz of On3Sports. Jobe (6-0, 182) was a two-year starter for the Crimson Tide. He dealt with a turf toe injury in 2021 and was unable to work out during the pre-draft process. He was expected to be a Day 3 pick, perhaps even early on Day 3.

Really going heavy in the secondary so far 4 guys added guess we are hoping to find someone that can stick around

Carson Strong is a interesting one biggest knock on him is the knee teams have massive concerns about how it will hold up.

Wow Eagles gave CB Goodrich the largest bonus to sign here for an UDFA…

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, quoting Goodrich’s agents, reported that the Eagles gave Goodrich a $217,000 bonus to sign here.

That’s the largest bonus they’ve ever given an undrafted free agent.

According to the rookie wage scale, $217,000 is more than anybody drafted in the sixth or seventh is slotted to receive this year in guaranteed money.

We spent $480,000 on our entire UDFA class last year

Yeah, been reading all of that. Carson's interesting tho, once upon a time considered to be 1st or 2nd rd, then the knee. Big arm

Still 2 punters out there

Ryan Stonehouse, P, Colorado State

Blake Hayes, P, Illinois

Yes... if we want to add a 3-4 element to our D, we need LBs. Especially ones that can rush from outside.

Like we said, multiple fronts. If we can mold a secondary out of all these guys, have a good team - on paper

Is that exactly what Sen said.   I didn't interpret that..  I got that he wasn't getting his panties in a bunch over a punter.

If the punter is a problem.... then that's a bigger problem that your punter punts enough to be a problem.  One first down after starting from the 25 and usually that's a fair catch around the other teams 20. 2 first downs and it's inside the 20.

Your kicker had an excellent season...who was his holder...Coy Detmer?

Thank you joemas. Exactly right. I’m just not that worried about a punter. Punters can be found in a LOT of places. If you remember, the Eagles found their last punter in the Australian football league or something. He was good for several years and was not drafted. Heck, I bet the punter from Idaho State is decent. I just prefer not to DRAFT a punter. This team needs a lot of other positions filled just like you mentioned GBNC. They don’t "need” a TE but took a flyer on a guy that COULD be a steal. I rather risk a draft pick there than on a punter. Plenty of time to find an adequate Punter. If four were drafted, there are now 4 STARTERS out of a job. Heck, the Eagles got Elliott off someone’s practice squad. Thats all. I wasn’t trying to say the Eagles were in good shape at the position.

Where did I say Dillard for a 4th???? I'll wait. I said "I would LOVE to have a 4th" did I say WHO??? I like how you just piece things together

No Sen thinks we're good to go

You quoted Dillard for a fourth. Didn’t mean it as so personal to you. Just adding my two cents

100% ... plus better off getting day 2 pick next year.

Question now..  does Riddick,  Davis and Kyron Johnson... lead you to think more 3-4?.  Plus Dean ?

Three rush LBs and a mammoth in the middle….3-4 or five man front options

QB Carson Strong, udfa

I’m amazed he didn’t get picked in the fourth round. Can trade Shew now.

He’s just not mobile. Big armed accurate kid.

No crap he isn’t mobile…. But a pocket passer doesn’t knock you to UDFA. Hell Mac Jones isn’t mobile.

Having a major knee injury in high school that he has had surgeries on through college cleanings draining etc. definitely would though hence the it’s his biggest knock
