Yes... if we want to add a 3-4 element to our D, we need LBs. Especially ones that can rush from outside.

Good point I had not thought about

Players who reportedly signed with the Eagles

S Reed Blankenship

Utah WR/RS Britain Covey

Oklahoma RB Kennedy Brooks

Nevada QB Carson Strong

Alabama CB Josh Jobe

Clemson CB Mario Goodrich

Duke CB Josh Blackwell

Like the Jobe pick-up. I thought he should have been drafted

You quoted Dillard for a fourth. Didn’t mean it as so personal to you. Just adding my two cents

LOL no that was 93.Im response I said "I would love a 4th" which I imagine can be inferred as me agreeing, but I was thinking more Reagor, which I failed to state in my reponse,so I can see how you took it that way

Updated UDFA:

San Diego State OG William Dunkle

Oklahoma State OG Josh Sills

Idaho DT Noah Elliss

Brown QB EJ Perry

S Reed Blankenship

Utah WR/RS Britain Covey

Oklahoma RB Kennedy Brooks

Nevada QB Carson Strong

Alabama CB Josh Jobe

Clemson CB Mario Goodrich

Duke CB Josh Blackwell

My guess is some of CB's are going to be S or we're going after one

I stand by the 4th for Dillard statement.

We could wait and trade him at the deadline and get a 3rd whooo I just don’t see a drastic difference 3rd next year vs a 4th this year.

I know people want to over value Dillard but teams aren’t going to overpay for a backup LT that we aren’t even picking up his 5th year option for.

Well we have the OLBs that can rush now…. Reddick, Johnson, the kid we drafted this year, Avery.
Got options for bigger DEs as well with Milton and Cox

Hargrave was a NT for Pitt so he has that experience and of course we just drafted Davis.

Dean and White both from 34 D units Edwards could be fine as well as a ILB in a 34 good run stuffer.

So definitely have the ability on paper at least to deploy some 34 looks

I know... you get tunnel vision during each draft about certain positions.... the " inexpensive rookie WR,  and the punter" were this year’s things.

I'm looking at the big picture.... get the #1 WR on offense and set up the 3-4 on defense.    Basically,  I'm seeing a plan here, which to me is more important right now than focusing on who we didn't draft in round 6.

QB FACTORY!!!! In all seriousness though Strong was likely a late 1st 2nd round guy if it wasn’t for the knee concerns dude has an NFL caliber arm can make every throw.

With Minshew on his final year. Hurts on his 2nd to last year(If he is the guy will get extended next year if not likely be gone). Need some possible cheap backup QB options.

Strong also provides starter upside if the knee holds up

1.  We did pick up the 5th year option last week.

2.  If there is an injury and Dillard would fill in this year and play BEFORE the draft pick would be given up....

I think those 2 factors could easily lead to a future 2nd round pick.  Very possible.

Unless I missed it everything I’ve seen is we are likely to decline his 5th year option and this is from yesterday

I stand corrected.... reports I heard this week was that we picked up the 5th year for Dillard,  looks like we did not.

So I agree...long shot for better than 3rd round.  My bad

Correct ..my bad.  On radio they were saying we picked up year 5 option.

I guess there is still time though... May 2nd deadline...lol

I like the fact we should be able to stop the run - finally!

Was just going by the reports I seen lol.

4th this year vs a 3rd next year are about the same value to me.

Could even be stuck waiting till 2024 to get a comp pick for him.

Sure we have him as a backup LT this year but not sure he is that much better then say Driscoll who can also play LT or RT or either G spots

Our run D did take a mighty fall after the SB years. Schwartz really gave us an underrated unit

Reagor and Sanders could be other option we look to move

St.Nick got released by the Bears lol 😂 can bring back the SB MVP

Wonder if Doug will try and get him back with the Jags would be a good mentor for Lawrence

Feel kinda bad for Foles

Makes total sense. Surprised Reich wouldn’t ever do it.

We've always had a decent run D,but be careful what you wish for because we get beat deep

I agree with your assessment of a fourth this draft. Piled in with other stuff to move up I would have considered it. Rather keep him than straight trade him for a fourth though. I’ve stated all along we need to wait for an injury to occur to a contending team. Maybe even them just having an underperforming player. The optimal is having multiple good teams have problems at LT for a bidding war.

He’s just not mobile. Big armed accurate kid.

Like Brady, not mobile, but pocket sense and presence. Move around in the pocket and bomb a 65 yarder works for me. We got the WR's to do it

I liked EJ Perry as well
