IDK maybe they are hoping Devon Allen can replace Reagor after this year. Reagor could be a nice WR if he changed his attitude. Just once you P me off,it's hard to get me back

Just think everybody wasn’t willing to give Ward much of a chance. Seems like he just steps up and does a quality job most every opportunity he’s given. He’s not fast enough. Not big enough. Doesn’t have enough experience. Yet comes in and most always gets open and catches the pass. Looks like he has a solid bond with our QB. There is a trust and understanding there. Can’t cut Reagor but he should be ahead of him.

Kinda like Fulgham was

I know you love your overachievers but he is the guy you want to improve on and replace. Really that simple. Ward to me is a sign we have a bad WR corps.

Greg Ward at his best playing 16 games(in a 16 game season)had 79 targets only gave us 400 yards receiving. He only avg. 7.9 yards a catch.

This is the definition of a guy you should want to get much better then.

Updated UDFA, we added an OT - imagine that;

Miami OT Jarrid Williams

San Diego State OG William Dunkle

Oklahoma State OG Josh Sills

Idaho DT Noah Elliss

Brown QB EJ Perry

S Reed Blankenship

Utah WR/RS Britain Covey

Oklahoma RB Kennedy Brooks

Nevada QB Carson Strong

Alabama CB Josh Jobe

Clemson CB Mario Goodrich

Duke CB Josh Blackwell

GRADE: 7.1 (High-Level Backup/Potential Starter - 3rd Round)   I didn't have him this high,I was looking at a late 5/6. I think with some effort he could be a nice WR. Very smart at "bailing" a QB out of trouble

Soooo I believe this means we have two roster spots remaining to fill out the 90 man roster

Javion is a serious potential sleeper

Another player that will be interesting to see what we plan to do with is Semulao doesn’t sound like we are guaranteeing him a starting job.  I know we also really like Herbig. We also have Jurgens who we see as position flexible.

Add in that Stout seems to consistently turn UDFA OL into at least quality backup caliber guys

So our OL seems to be….

Mailata/Dickerson/Kelce/?/Lane

Semaulo v Herbig likely to compete for the RG spot. If Herbig were to win the job would we look to trade Semaulo then???

I call them starters. We have that…now. Big tough physical guy that gets open and makes contested catches like AJ isn’t what Ward is. He’s the small reliable guy that gets open and makes the catch. Believe he’s great to have at practices and in the meetings. Hard working good guy that gets it done that isn’t the freak of nature physically and athletically. And yes…..love rooting for those type guys that are quality people and work hard to overachieve. Think they are great to have around superstars also. Helps create great work environments.

Seumalo is better. Herbig is serviceable. I’d say Driscoll could arguably be the best option at RG. Driscoll is the ideal first guy off the bench with his versatility and position flexibility however.

Does the rook get a shot? Do you strictly have him backing up Kelce? Or do you try and have him play next to his mentor?

Just 1 spot left, had 14 after the draft

To me having Reagor as a starter is a sign of a bad WR corps. Ward as your backup is quality. He’s not big enough…or super lightning fast. Just a reliable hard worker on the same page with the QB that gets open and catches playing every position.

Honey Badger

I really think Honey Badger would move the needle. I know I’m the optimistic fan here. Not  always been the case. Always seem to be in the minority though. I wasn’t aboard the Chip train like many. I wasn’t happy with the signings after our Super Victory. I bashed the GM of the year. I really think we are a very very strong team if we add that quality S weapon. We rostered so so soooo many young CBs that I demand results from that position. My front runner isn’t McPherson. It’s Tay Gowan. Believe Gowan Island will happen.

AJ Brown and Deebo have the same agent, just found it interesting we got Brown this early

Tampa killed us by jamming at the line. Can’t think of much better way to counter than getting AJ. Come up and try to get physical with all our guys now!

Deebo was leaking the contract negotiation info of AJ

Did looking into Deebo actually lead to trading for Brown?

Hurts was working out w/ Brown but they're buds. Imagine the FO was looking at AJ as the connection was already there. If they couldn't get him then try for Deebo

Your right and we would still rather have had Reagor out there over Ward that says it all. The goal should be for both to be gone.

Ward isn’t a guy you want coming in off the bench if you need him… We are in a bad place if we had to start Ward because of injuries.

No clue what the Eagles plans will be for Jurgens they stated they believe him to have position flexibility.

As for the top post I do believe Semaulo is better then Herbig as well but not a huge gap. Herbig only 23 and far cheaper then Semaulo as well could be a factor.

As for Driscoll good player but seems more valuable in that Big V role as the top backup at 4 spots. Another reason why we could look at moving Dillard

Contract outlook.

Semaulo turns 29 this year on his final year of his contract and cost us 7.6m

Herbig turns 24 this year also final year got tendered costs us 2.4m

Semaulo and Dillard just seem like likely trade options to me
