LMAO 32 DURING THE SEASON is what I SHOOT for(maybe I dont get there??? It's a GOAL. Why would I want to shoot for 17??? Post season you play better teams,so no you wont score 32 there, but putting up 32 during the season means you are a LEGIT playoff team,17-not so much

Scoring 32 means you scored more than anybody did last year. But like I said…why stop there? Shoot for whatever you want. But you are bashing because we weren’t the best offense in the league. See the difference?

OK Ham when we go up 17-0 I want the scrubs put in because at 17 we got this already. No need to score anymore after that. That's as ridiculous as the argument you make

We almost lost some games going conservative. Why stop what's working? I never could understand that unless the game is out of reach in the 4th. So yeah I want to see a smooth offense like you,but you gotta put up the numbers if you want to go deep into the playoffs

You gotta play well vs good teams.  Putting up numbers vs bad teams doesn't do anything.

See this is where I differ from you and Ham.  I'm just making the point we didn't compete well at all vs the good teams.  You both focus on the 9 wins. What the score was etc.

Scoring 80 points vs 9 bad teams to me is the same if you keep flopping vs the good teams.   I need to see good play vs good teams.  With a win or two in there.   I don't care if they beat Jax, Chicago or Houston... by 1 point or 40?

We had four wins the season before. I can’t understand how you can expect 32 points a game or Hurts is terrible.

Sure why can't that be my goal? I didn't lower my bar. 32 is 1.5 less but thats not doable by any stretch????? We don;t have the offense to do it???

17-0 is a perfect regular season

Last year we scored 25 points a game average, but with this improved offense we cannot score  more 1 TD per game??? ONE  more Td a game is "extreme"??>??

It’s a team game. Niners we’re the fifth best defense. In the playoffs…Cowboys scored 17 on them as the top offense in the league. Packers with the MVP QB scored 10. SB winning Rams scored 20. But yeah….week two with a new team we should thrown up 30 on them. Just terrible QB play…if only we had ARod…oh wait….he did no better…never mind.

Context doesn't matter though right?  The blizzard had nothing to do with Green Bay only scoring 10?   The game was close because the 49ers offense particularly the QB was awful.

It doesn’t effect anything for you that Siri was blowing it? These were the games vs good teams, right? Then Steichen took over playcalling and we were the seventh best O.

I’ll give you they weren’t the most talented teams we beat.

If we jumjped out 21-0,the I see no reason even if you are coasting that you can't get 32

If you run the ball successfully and win 27 -10 ... does it really matter?

Yep…Mills and Darby Island.

Right....focus on the one thing to make your point....no agenda?

Btw... without looking it up....who were the CBs on the 85 Bears, 2000 Ravens, the Steeler teams of the mid 2000s?

Like I said…have any goal you won’t. But bashing Hurts because we weren’t the best offense is totally different. I want to set every NFL record. I’m not going to lash out at my players if we don’t though.

So as I told Ham we scored 25 a game with Hurts missing WR's,1 read and run,yet with this improved offense asking for 1 more TD per game is extreme? Adding Brown was pointless then? 27 is fine.it's short of the 32 I would like, but 32 should be the GOAL to SHOOT for

LMAO Hurts missed wide open guys. We got his buddy in here,we even got Pascal because we cant trust YOUR BOY reagor. We added pieces on defense to get the offense on the field more times per game, yet all of this cannot warrant ONE more TD per game???? that is EXTREME??? No reason Hurts cannot add 1 more TD per game NONE

Dude.... stop it.   We played 26 offensive linemen and 15 WRs. Both TEs missed games and all the RBs were out at different points, sometimes multiple.  You know it wasn't the typical 4 win squad with the vets that are on that team.  They had OC by committee....lol

Are you saying Siri is that much better than your boy Pedey?   Stop it.

Last year 25 points per game. This years expectations-32 points per game 32-25 is 7 points,ONE more TD per game is impossible??? Smith in year 2,Geodert will be better also,Gainwell can add out of the backfield in year 2, Sanders needs to stay healthy,we got Brown in here. The upgraded defense will give Hurts more scoring chances(in theory). All this and 7 more points a game is extreme? If so all the moves we made were a waste of time. I didn't lower my bar

Kinda is a little...when you expect to do that over 17 weeks.  Especially when some of that 25 per game was ridiculous amounts vs some bad teams.

Well as I keep saying it's a GOAL to try to achieve. Some weeks you won't get there, other weeks you could go over, but I will set that as a team goal because I don't want them quitting or laying off after 17 points. With all the upgrades we made I don;t feel asking for 1 TD more over last year is asking WAY too much. We have the offense, now Hurts has to deliver

No.... because to me it's 3 years same trend.   You just keep harping on the part that includes your boy Hurts.    You don't seem to get that I'm putting Howie, Doug, Wentz in that same group that hasn't beaten anyone good since Josh Allen's Bills in October 2019.

I can't insult everyone ,because it insults your boy too...you just focus on him for some reason.   4 wins the year before,  and I never heard you give credit to Siri ... if it was Doug...oh would you keep mentioning due to the guy before him... but you just make it seem like it's the QB that was 5 wins better.

Maybe the defense scores a few more TD's this year also. SO 7 more points isn't extreme to me

7 could be extreme if you have a shanking punter though HAHAHAHA. Won't do any good losing 35-32

I just think putting it all on the stats is silly.  I don't know what any numbers were... but to me the best offense I saw was 2017. .. with Wentz and then one game with Foles.  2004 offense was right behind.  But for some reason I think that 2010 offense might have put up better numbers.

But if I needed a yard,a first down or a score... no chance I go with 2010 group. All flash IMO.  They could beat up the bad teams too... struggled when it mattered.

Defense scored last year.

BTW Ham IDK anyone that wants Hurts to fail, which it seems you think we DO. As for myself,I hope he shows me the things he lacked last year as a QB. There really is no reason for him to fail, but you keep thinking thats what we want. I want to know Hurts is the guy I WANT to sign to a BIG 4 year contract. This is the year to find that out,not next year. I never said I wanted Hurts to fail-NEVER,but he needs to clean up the mistakes and make more than 1 read,  make the throws, increase the accuracyyou know everything required of an NFL QB. I hope he made giant strides off season and asking for 1 more TD per game is not extreme if he DID make those strides and with all the additions we made. That's it, I'm done

That was a good team with blue collar guys who worked together as underdogs. No "stars" per se. They were scrappy fighters. One could argue this offense is better than 2017.I think it is myself so I will go with that premise. Only thing holding us back is the QB position. I would like to see Hurts pass more. He can still run on some plays because that's who he is. WR's get antsy when they don't get stats,at least most feel that way. Smith is the real deal and he can learn from Brown which will help him develop faster. I'm glad we finally paid attention to LB and CB. it was a long time coming. S is still a concern, but we had too many holes to fill them all,but we made excellent gains this off season
