I feel he’s going to prove better than Murray

I think he already is.  My opinion of Murray outside of fantasy is pretty low though

Number one pick….second highest paid player. Hurts can’t be too low in your book then.

Why would you think his MVP ODDS are so high then?   Because the Vegas folks are so impressed with his throwing?

One stinks more than the other.   One more year here and  can move on

Raiders look pretty loaded. I’d think Carr would be fairly high

Raiders OL good?

Elite looking bell cow RB. Top WR in the league. Great TE.

See Vegas ranked as the 29th OL ... but same site has Eagles #1.... Ham can tell us why the Eagles aren't that good though.

Bell cow RB doesn't really help the QB win MVP though ..does it?

Sure it does. Caught over 50 passes last season. Plus takes pressure off. Just like a good D can really help a QB.

Carr almost threw for 5,000 yards last year….and they added his buddy Adams.

Lamar Jackson has the same odds as Hurts. They must really think he’s surrounded by the same level talent.

Yes... can help QB win games, but bell cow runner doesn't help the QB stats.  The OL protection is more of a factor,  if which being ranked 1 vs 29 is huge... regardless if both rankings are a little off.

Nah, they think Lamar is better himself.

Listen, you don't have to sell me on Carr fantasy wise.   I think he is the sleeper QB this year.  Will be great value compared to Mahomes who will go too early.

I think of ‘ now’being—-about to start TC at the end of July. Your ‘now’feels months off

LMAO Oh we're gonna sign him to a HUGE new contract before the plays the games???

responding to Joe-Love those guys too(like Scott who worked his butt of to make this team). What bugs me a bit is we have "clones".Most are the same type players and if those work, that's great, but I also love that 235 pound basher RB. who can pound those 3rd and 2's into first downs. Why I liked having Howard or Blount here. So 213 is the new kid and Sanders is 211(listed weights),but we don't have that 235 banger. We could still grab one if another team makes a cut

And a GOOD QB who can make the throws, which we need to see "NOW"(as in this years season, not training camp)

How do 3 yard passes to a RB get a QB the MVP award? Maybe if you are blindfolded. No their bar is higher than yours(much as ours is lol)

Radiers/Jax play in the HOF game.I think that's like in 2 weeks?

Ham,if you want to give Hurts his HUGE re-sign in training camp,I have swamp land to sell you and if you base things on the bad things from training camp,he should be gone before the season starts. Taking sacks in camp is almost unheard of LOL. That's the guy you want to sign for 230 million?

I was thinking about perhaps a difference between Brooks/Sanders build, but found out they are both 5' 11". So probably similar build. So…I guess we'll see who has the best vision, quickest instinct for the hole and strongest legs as far as the Rushing aspect of the game.

From what I read(which could be true or false) is that he has a superior upper body, but lacks in the lower. So maybe we take the time to build that part up? IDK what the plans are for him,if any. he would have to bust butt like Scott did, which is possible if we give him the time. So with Sanders, Scott and I suspect Gains gets more touches,I doubt we even see him on the field

So,just my own opinion,I am not sorry we added him,but if you notice in this vid ALOT of his gains are due to missed tackles at the LOS. That won't happen at the NFL level. he seems "OK" in the open field, not exceedingly fast and seems fairly easy to tackle on break aways. Even with missed LOS tackles by the defense,LB's in the NFL should have NP limiting his gain. So IMO he is here to compete with Huntley for RB4. Maybe we keep 5 if he shows some promise, but he seems expendable to me
