Dillard at LT, Anderson at LG, Jurgens at C, Opeta at RG, Driscoll at RT….that should tell us quite a bit about how the 53 roster is shaping up in the Oline room.

Really seeming like we are looking to utilize what I see as 4-3 Under defensive looks.

Nice to see Minchew being accurate.

That'll likely come in handy somewhere down the road.

Loved the bomb to Allen as well. Always wanted an actual speedster, we all know what that can do. Unfortunately don't think he makes it.

I liked Gainwell’s TD. LB met him head on and he took the hit and spun into the endzone.

Most people were considering the cowboys as elite and one of the top contending teams last year. They were crushing people early looking dominant. They’ve had a much better team than their results the last few years.

And we had a worse one, that's why this year is crucial to know where we are in the grand scheme

Williams fined 10 grand for dirty hit on Hurts. Pretty weak fine in my eyes.

Pre season, that maybe 1/4 of what his salary is LOL. not getting 100k from a guy who makes 30k a year

Derwin James signed for 19 mil a season. S market sure has changed. Missed out on the Saints S this FA. Looking like a great deal after these new contracts.

So you want to save cap space but sign every player that hits the FA market. Seems redundant.

Dillard sticks around like an old Hemmorhoid

He could stay and take Reagors job on ST's if we can swing a trade. But IDK did Reagor look like the light finally went on???

Well as you all know, I think Shew is the better QB for this team, but Howie will push Hurts so it won't appear to be another bad draft pick. I'm happy Shew is playing well. He hasn't played for us much, but I really(so far) have not seen Shew make a bad decision or miss an open receiver, but it's a rather small sample size

I saw one pass from your boy, should have been a pick 6.   Saw Strong throw a pass too... should have been P.I.

We supposedly had all this available money according to some….but missed out on the top FA S after we were involved in negotiating for his services because the price tag got too high…..yet now these other top S are getting much more than he signed for 😳

No idea why you state "seems redundant”

I believe if you clear the cap then you opens longer championship window. But if we are just going to spend anyway…then don’t balk at the top S over the money being too high…when the market at that position ballon’s massively after he is signed.

What I believe isn’t always the same as Rosie. Especially about clearing the cap. So if we aren’t going to clear the cap might as well sign really good players at what quickly becomes less than market value.

What a downgrade that looks like to me

Minshew threw two passes that should have been pick 6’s.

So what did we learn in preseason game 2?

* Allen is fast AND can catch - so he is about to get cut.

* 2nd string D Is bad.

That’s it. Cant get those 3 hours back. Preseason os a joke. Looks like the coaches dont even want to play these games.

I didn't get to watch the game(as usual) so tell me some GOOD take aways and who choked a dead horse just for my own knowledge

OK so is it the athletes or are they trying "weird" plays or were they vanilla plays?. They aren't letting Shew get the rust off or letting Strong take experience reps? I know it's pre 2 and even though it's a long shot what if Hurts got hurt and out for the season on the first play? I thinki they need to feed them a few more reps- JMO

Lots of variables, not all about money. Some will only play with certain teams no matter how much money you offer them. Some want more guaranteed money. Some want 5 year contracts when we will only offer 3,so there are alot of factors at work here

You are always complaining about cap space and dead money, but you want to keep those same high dollar people coming in and you cannot have it both ways Seems pretty easy to understand Must have balance. Many times that balance gets thrown off by bad draft picks forcing you to go hire someone you assumed you wouldn't need to. Or you sign a guy for 3 years and he's on IR for 2.5 years or after the big contract he becomes disgruntled and a thorn in everyone side and you have to lose money just to get him out(see Wentz). If you draft and develop well thats where your savings come,if you suck you are spending your limit annually

Depends,if he is only used as a returner I see little difference. I doubt he would be on par as a receiver, but my statement was about returning, not replacing Reagor as a WR. We already have those guys, Reagor MAY be #4 or #5 but either him OR Allen can be the #1 returner. Allen is actually faster, but his skills are rusty

Joke to watch, but the feedback for coaches is great. if you have 3 less than stellar guys vying for 1 job,you find out the 2 you can cut lol,so then you are down to 1 less than stellar guy who maybe has some potential in time
