I mean, he is MVP now for doing the simple thing.   Ham said, " he recognized blitz and called a hot route"  QB 101...  Goedert made the play breaking the tackle.

Dude has 25 NFL starts... year 3... why is it shocking  that he can audible when he sees a blitz? How low is the bar for this guy?

The Eagles were the better team... I have no issue with Hurts doing the simple things to win this game. He didn't need to be MVP.     But I'm also not paying him $50 mil to do what he did yesterday.    That's not the win thr makes him worth $50 mil... we haven't seen that one yet. 17 games and playoffs.  Then we see it all.

yeah Ham goes insane when he does what all QB usually do lol. Hurts needs to let loose wind up tight, put all the force he can into his hips and hit an 11 yarder. That clutch roll left for a 1st down when your O line collapsed was "incredible"

Is Elliott out again?

Don't know but he could have hosed the game like the KC backup kicker did against the Bills

Well we're winning and that's all the FO really cares about

I think he will find a job after Elliott returns. IDK his status,if it's shaky, we keep Dicker and let him go on the bye week. IDK  Dicker can nail 60 yarders, but I had NP with him this week.He did what we paid him to do

Still wild to me that 1/2 the stadium was Eagles fans

Right... but you gotta see how it ends right?    Remember when someone here said 12 wins should be expected with this roster and schedule...  minimal home playoff game and a win.    The thing that could prevent that is the upcoming opponent.    Or we get there and a flop in the playoffs?

Who knows, but this part of the season pretty much was expected for me, was saying it since the schedule came out... they could easily go undefeated before the bye week. They should be favored in every game.   Everybody had an excuse as to why they wouldn't.  Kyler Murray the athlete...Justin Jefferson ...these fantasy guys apparently can beat a whole team?  The reality is we have 2 stud lines, with depth, great weapons and no real weakness on defense.  That was obvious as the roster was built,  but the obsession over getting a safety took over the negative mindset.

We are we should be at this point,  no surprises.   Now let's see the rest of the season.

I was fairly shocked that we beat the VIkes. Shutting down Cook and JJ is not an easy thing to do I had that one as a L and a toss up this week(which I was close on, cause it was a toss up) . Dullaz has some excellent LB's One will have to cover Goedert,so I think he doesn't get much this game so I am hoping we can see Hurts unload because so far I have only see 2 really deep passes and if I am the FO,i think it's a tough decision when you haven't seen all you have to see. At this point I would say we sign him even though there are things I personally want to see. IDK how Howie feels. If Hurts was running like he is and tossing some 60 yard dimes every game then I would say 'GO" but other than a few inklings of what he can do,he really has not been tested. Like the fact we can grind on the ground and move the chains. That was an issue before cause we would do 3 and outs and now we are getting those clutch first downs. other than Hurts do we have a RB who got 100 yards in a game?(I didn't check) I was hoping for 2 1,000 yard WR's but that is not happening the way we play

Should be a good game with Dullaz, but IMO and looking at match ups, the way to beat them is deep passing. Their short game D is pretty good. If our O line holds up we can run on them some, but I think they will try to take Goedert away so some out of backfield screens to RB's should be effective. I believe our DB's can handle their WR's,but we need to see a pass rush which has been good to this point(or better than it was). Nice to see Davis getting more snaps also. He can stuff Zeke. Pollard also a good solid RB

Anyway, when the presser hits at 2:45 maybe someone can post what he said(in a nutshell) I hope he has some good news on the injury front. We need to go all in and beat the boyz then we can heal up and rest

NO has it rough.Thomas not 100% now Olave is concussed. Rashad Penny done for the year and he was on a contract year. Tough break for him

Good for us though on NO. Right now we'd have the 9 picks from them. I'm thinking when all is said and done that we get a 4 or 5

I doubt Howie would do it,but I am sticking to my guns. i really like the "undraftable" trash Tennessee QB Hooker despite the fact I have no clue what I am looking for in a QB (lol). He is like Hurts with an arm. and he;s not afraid to turn it loose. He is breaking some of Mannings records. I would love to have him and the Texas RB. But we don't use RB's anyway,so that would be wasted talent here. Robinson will be a stud somewhere. he can improve but he really has no weaknesses in his game. IDK maybe Howie goes for him and Sanders goes away especially if we're going to pay for a QB

What's the O/U on how many free cheesesteaks Dicker will be eating this week?

Even if it's 50 I am betting the over

They could easily be 0-5 right now.  Would make that random pick look much better.

This is why I say let the season play out.  Forget about next years draft or signing guys right now.   Enjoy 2022, while assessing everything at the end. Decisions on our linemen that are over 30 need to be made.  One year deals all over the place.   Where does the Saints pick come in?   We should have at least 13 games left to analyze, with the important ones toward the end and in worse weather being more so what any decisions should be based off of.

Everyone in a rush to play 2023 GM.  Now isn't the time.

He's been in the league he's not a rookie,he has played against these players before. He signed up for what he signed up for and we have plenty of time left. What if(god forbid) he breaks both legs? You already paid him to babysit the mast tent? Yet you constantly bash the org for paying/making bad contracts? What the huge rush that this needs done tomorrow? we're not even 1/3 of the way through THIS contract. if he wanted more money he wouldn't be here????

He obviously wants more money. That’s why he IS here. Forced his way to be traded.

It's not a 2 way street,it's a 1 way street, either they are worth what we offer and they accept or they don't. Why do you want to go 1000 mph down a 1 way street that may have a brick wall at the end?? They are UNDER CONTRACT and I'm sure if we want to keep them they will get an offer, but what's the point until we decide Hurts fate? Alot of players may sign IF we sign Hurts to a long term deal simply because we have play off team potential and they would take less to be on a team like that. It's not the first time that has happened and won't be the last.

They accept what we offer…or they don’t….then we offer more….then they accept it or don’t…,.then we alter the terms in another more favorable way towards them….to get them to accept. Seems like a two way street to me.

IDK what if he gets knocked out for the season next week? He runs alot and we saw what it did to Wentz, yet you complain about dead money, bad contracts but want to rush right in and do them again

You mean like Dak? No Mas would show you how Hurts would get paid anyway.

Next Gen stat of the game: Jalen Hurts averaged 3.8 air yards per attempt (second-lowest in career -- minimum five attempts) and threw a quick pass on 63.9% of attempts. Hurts went 12-of-13 for 70 yards on screen passes, making him the only player since route recognition began in 2018 to have more than 10 screen attempts in a game.     From NFL.com

That was clearly Steichen gameplan. Worked early….but then they adjusted shocker. If you look into the stats further you’d realize Hurts is throwing downfield more than any other in the league.

Very key part of the job. It’s an area he can continue to improve. Think how we react to defensive playcalls is a big growth area for Hurts….AND….Steichen. QB1 is just doing what our OC wants and chooses really. Big must have third down…all this took place….and worked.

The way we play? You mean the undefeated part? I’ll take the way we are playing over your fantasy wish list anytime!

Sanders had a career high against Jax last week.

Four different guys rushing in for a TD in a single game stinks also.
