Agree, but the SOS after last weeks games is set and used for this weeks point spread. This weeks point spread is in no way dependent on future SOS. That was the point I was trying to make. Future SOS is just a barometer for how all think teams will do in the W/L column at seasons end....

Right,as I said the spreads are more fluid and day to day while the SOS is more a week to week, and you just said the same thing"After last weeks games is set and used for this weeks spread" which is the future(this weeks games),so both are future looking things,so we are actually agreeing. The past resets for the future every week

Anyway, the whole point is this is not "nonsense" and that's how this whole topic got started, and the point I was trying to make to bird. But he is either in denial or doesn't understand but fights for his right to be wrong

Caff was a trade, no? If so, no comp pick.....

Home team on Thursdays are usually the play barring an Eagles vs Houston type matchup.

As Ham says...we are a very superior team over Washington (4-5... 4-4 without our first matchup)   imagine how superior we are over a Houston team?   Worse record vs easier opponents.

We only won by 12... we were a play away from being another few plays away from losing.   So go with Carolina.

Just want Stine to know that I appreciate him putting up w/ the bs and staying in tune here. Know it's difficult at times, going on ad nauseum about things that simply don't matter anymore. Stine is inciteful and I appreciate his contributions. The how AJ got here kinda stuff - not so much when it's 100 pgs long. I understand some want to banter back and forth about such things, for me they're not constructive so don't take part. Time is too valuable.

My gauge of this yr will be the 2nd game vs dem boyz. 2 RB's & a mobile QB. We win that, and the probable addition of OBJ will be a good test. Hate to say it but dem boyz are pretty good. Up here in NE territory I'm constantly asked about the Eagles and I have to answer I'm not drinking the I still use the EMB's #1 Cliche. I love this team, we have weaknesses

Guess K-o-o--l  A-i - d  can't be said

I did, because they can be gashed on the ground despite not having Caff

I need to find a new cliche. LOL you're right can't say it. DUMB

So Maddox looking iffy.

Scott injured also. Scott wasn’t playing that great. So I wouldn’t even try playing him hobbled.

Davis obviously on IR

  • Author

So weaker against the run. And susceptible in the slot.

So there’s what I was saying game plan wise. Going to target the slot. A third S if we try that.

  • Author

Curtis Samuel they say is their slot guy

  • Author

I’m not overly concerned with Samuel really. He’s quick and decent player. I just don’t see him taking over a game though. It’s McLauren that super dangerous.

Slay and Bradberry outside. Epps back middle. Third stringer in slot or third S.

  • Author

They going to take big chances up the middle deep

We know this though going in. So we should have S over help

  • Author

Roll coverage to cheat towards the weakness.

  • Author

Obviously a high S hurts more in run support. So see how these three missing will tax the whole system?

  • Author

The refs already doing extra arm workouts to prepare for the pass interfere flags.

  • Author

Samuel and McLauren are not the guys you want running free underneath either….like FL suggests. Those two will really test our tackling prowess.

  • Author

If only we had some high pick DB we could just run with. Get his feet wet by fire. On a top level D. Not sure why we gotta wait until next year. Sure would be nice to be integrating him now.

  • Author

We’d get to see him actually interact with all these DBs first ….then choose which guys to keep

  • Author

My early read is Epps we keep. Plenty of starting experience. He’s a proven starter level player.

He’s earned some loot fromus

  • Author

Don’t see the rest of the league pining for his talents so much though

  • Author

Not seeing him in the top S market making twenty mil per.
