Can't go wrong with either line. Always nice to keep draftin 1-2 on either side every draft IMO...

Wouldn’t hurt to spread things around either. But in this years draft Dline looks stacked!

Shouldn't you be more critical of the PRO, who has a few years in, you are going to pay 150 million dollars to???? Apples to oranges here AGAIN and once again you take what i said as bashing which you STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND and completely off the topic of discussion(again not surprising). I understand the guy I chose when he was NOBODY,(maybe round 7 then)who has accelerated into the Heisman discussion bothers you, but once again it's facts and I "called it" LOL. Yet somehow this translates into I am a hater, I have no clue what to look for in a QB,I choose "undraftable" guys, I can't see what Hurts does with my own eyes, and I should be on medication HAHAHAHAHA (OMG this is a riot)

Clearly you couldn’t foresee the path Hurts was on

I tell you what we do: you guys argue against my points endlessly and gang up on me. Then next post you can agree with me…we’ll just time stamp it for a year and a half later. Agreed? Easy.

I said he was going through his progression. One two and third read. Didn’t say anything about downs. That’s on you.

And this has what to do with "air Coryelle"? Once again dodgeball with you

Lost your mind. I was clearly way ahead on that one. You checked him out when I brought it up and you loved him though.

MVP

Malarkey once again. MVP BS still dodges the post. Maybe someday you can comprehend what you read and respond correctly. Still a HUGE MISS on what the post we're(supposedly, now we are off the subject thanks to your constant derailing technique original post). MVP doesn't respond to what was said, the previous post does not respond to what was said,so whatever drivel you spew about this is off the subject that was presented. Maybe re-read the initial post 500 times, phone a friend, poll the audience,or whatever else you need to to do understand what the post was about because once again you are all alone out in left field refusing to answer to topics. SO even at "MVP" Hurts is dropping 30 yard dimes 12 times a game??? Can you show me those??? no of course not because they DIDN'T happen. So try sticking to a subject someday

2 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Think you guys caught on about running the ball after the whole Linc crowd was chanting run the damn ball

I said second and third reads. Nothing about downs. Reread please.

Right and this "response" has(once again) ZERO to do with what I said

I don’t root for College Tennessee. So really makes little difference to me.

In college. I said I didn’t see him with much for the pros. Completely different animal. Come back to me in a few years about this one.

Like I said YOU ARE comparing apples to oranges- YOU!!! 24 is "strong leadership" (after being in the pros for a few years) 25 in college(because you are smart and want to complete your 5 year degree) means you are washed up and undraftable. Ridiculous. Complete nonsense and stupidity. Hurts is perfect in every aspect of the game, no scrutiny allowed. Can't get any better,he is perfect in every way. If he wins MVP he will become a god Ham will pray to every night before bedtime(once again ridiculous). No rational discussion of anything with you. Unreal

Which had ZIP to do with what I posted

My eyes seem to be the only ones I king up these details. First year starting….how many guys get into fourth reads? He’s been learning and getting better the whole time. Pay attention. Take notes. Your BS one read and run was always BS hater-aide

OMG LMFAO, we're watching 2 different QB's then. Yep when you can't defend your point, go back to the old reliable name calling. Sadly that doesn't work with me because I don't back down to off topic immature drivel. SO last year Hurts was going through 3 reads? How did he have time when he was running every other play? or holding the ball for 6 seconds and taking sacks?(you know in that fab RPO college offense we ran for 5 weeks?) Where were those 50 yard bombs to wide open WR's he DID NOT SEE? If you bother to check he is still doing the dink and dunk and allowing our players to get YAC's. All those yards are NOT AIR YARDS(you may not understand this either but do your best). After you try to comprehend that, tell me WHERE I said this was a BAD THING. But yeah I'm a hater for seeing what I see. He's done alot of things better this year which is what we ALL were waiting for before handing him a huge contract. We all know you had a bronze statue put in your yard last year and if you couldn't see the 1 and run last year, then you are either blind or a complete fool. THIS year he is making more reads(and I stated I saw that also) So stop with the hater BS because you can't understand what you see from year to year. You can't claim Pitts, Joe had him in HS

2 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

FL you should watch NFL some instead of always college. Pitts wasn’t slow nothing. Went for over 1,000 yards rookie year with Matt Ryan. He’s a TE….but just as easily be considered a WR. Sick weapon! You are lost. No reason to not want Pitts(period).

SO you want to give up 2 firsts, and who are you cutting? Goedert? AJ? Smith? Only so many targets per game. LMK who gets the axe ,while you give away the best 2/4 decent picks we have. This is so ridiculous I should not even have  answer you. Bufoonery at it's finest

BS. Jefferson only…and26 year old rookies.

Nobody pays any attention around here. Just assume if the guy is a stud…I was on it!

🤣🤣😆😂🙄🤡

Good to see your looking into my advice on Oline. Makes plenty of sense.

I don't rely on you or anyone else. I do my own research,so right now if we had to draft who do you take first??? Oh NM we're giving our 2 round 1's away for Pitts,so who is your amazing STUD in round 2 because that's all we have left 2,3,7,7, so go find me 4 studs there

2 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Nice that you agreed on paying Hurts now…got it in before Thanksgiving even. I knew you’d catch up. Of coarse paying him isn’t a question. Does he have a real shot at MVP is now the question? He’s odds favorite at a couple sites.

yes you wanted to pay Hurts next year because we had a "free" year or was it you wanted him signed last year without seeing any improvements? I forget because you change so often . Who gives a rats ass about MVP? It's just an accolade/acknowledgement unless you can win the SB. It's a nice honor to be sure but how many MVP's are given out where that player doesn't get a ring? Why didn't the MVP will them to a ring?' Take your MVP and put them on a crap team(see Arod and he's with the same team even) and see if they have the same performance. I'd rather take the guy who is the MVP in my SUPERBOWL win. I hope he wins, still proves nothing if you can't finish the job. Like those that win the Heisman many don't go on the be stars. Nice award, but really means little unless you can transfer that to the pro game

No we're giving away our 2 round 1 picks for Pitts remember?

2 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Nope he wasn't that "stellar" last year, needed lots of work (which he did) Many things I wanted him to prove to me and he has done so while you were already starry eyed and ignoring his weak points,so I guess I was all alone wanting to see much improvement along with everyone else on this board, all the pro analysts who said the same thing, but it's only me cause I am a hater LMAO While he was working at his game Howie went out and got one of the top receiving corps in the league. How can you NOT succeed??? He's reading better, his accuracy is better,he's getting off the ball hogging from last year. IDK why you can't see these things, but whatever. He really wasn't that good last year and everyone but you needed PROOF before shelling our those huge bucks. Hooker is a Hurts copy with a better arm, but one guy is a god,the other is undraftable because at 25 you are already washed up LMAO

2 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Clearly, I wanted to see the improvement, but I'm a hater

I have Murphy.(time stamp it if you want to be childish)

Another kid I like is Ringo at CB. Looks really good, but Howie won't bite for some unknown reason(so that's 2 you can time stamp) And I am much better with WR's TE's and RB's than defense, but I will make my call anyway

So Carson Palmer said it looks to him like Josh Allen suffered the same UCL injury he did. If it’s completely torn your done and out for the season. So It’s not. Palmer said every so many throws just came out and died. He said it was a spiral and all…..but ten yards out it just dropped like somebody shotgunned it. He then shut it down for the season. Obviously a massive deal considering you could make an argument he’s the best player on the best team. I’m obviously biased thinking Hurts for the undefeated Eagles is going to glory! That’s the hope anyway. Think how crazy it would be if everybody here but me was not thinking he was good enough to be our starter this offseason…..what if he wins MVP and Super Bowl MVP? Back up the Brinks truck then. No Mas how much you gotta pay him after that kind of award winning season…you know theoretically.

I see it as all you. You said "one read and run Hurts” .  Then I responded with the film breakdown and actually watching games you see Hurts was going through first second and third reads. You somehow misread that blaming me for talking about downs.
You misread and went sideways. I was just cleaning up your mess. But I can share some blame…I’m far from perfect as a writer. But I reread what ‘I’ posted….no idea how you really got lost there.

  • Author

But please go back and follow the conversation. To me, my posts make total sense concerning the one read and run Hurtsfalse theory. You just misread ‘reads’ for downs I guess? Don’t know?

  • Author

The Pitts conversation is a bit tricky really. I brought him up just salivating over how great I thought he was. Stine responded that he had seen him play. Think most of us had seen him play some. I took it from a end of the first round player to I would take him up front of the whole draft. Can’t remember the whole draft everybody. But he was my favorite nonQB. But we hadn’t discussed him on here before. That’s why I get my. "I called it” once again I feel. He was that rare talent after discussing I think we all agreed in his supremacy.

The obvious here is I’d cut the much younger player more slack on his development curve. I think COVID is why your boy has so much grey hair in college. Rare circumstance. 25 you can’t deny is old for college….playing against 18, 19… year olds. Age is a factor…you can’t deny that either. If you draft him first round his rookie contract takes him into his thirties. Not sure I can think of anybody else that old. Is what it is. Hurts was second in Heisman. But that’s all college. But didn’t say your boy can’t have a great Senior+++++ year in college. I stated clearly about his ability as a pro. Heisman means diddly in the NFL. Go down the list….plenty of guys are great college players but don’t have the juice in the pros. Not taking away from your discovery of the ancient college player that it finally clicks for before he retires…up i mean becomes a bust in the NFL.

Your boy will be right at that last year before the cutoff thirties to be eligible receive a new contract

29

First round and you get a fifth year option. How many guys you remember being thirty on their rookie contract?
