But this team needs to make waves in the postseason. That’s why I keep focusing on teams figuring out and exposing us in certain areas.

Even a certain player getting exposed

I’m happy with the wins

But for a guy before Thanksgiving saying we have the one seed locked up. You’d think you’d see the bigger picture…at least a tiny bit. I know it’s not hindsight.

But try for once to look ahead to the playoffs. That’s also why I’ve been discussing player health. Stated I’d rather be last seed and have everybody.

Scott and Wallace suck. If you watch our wins….and even our two losses. Every OC has those two circled as top targets.

Clear as day

Every QB has added confidence throwing at them also. I mean what’s to fear?

So I do something you don’t No Mas. I look ahead. I see how I believe things might unfold. At the draft I had DB as big missing piece to the Championship puzzle. Then Rosie and everybody else but you saw the same. Rosie has to trade for a S. Bradbury was gifted late.

Those were huge holes in the Secondary

The team traded for a S right before the season started. Started Ceedy Duce immediately with no time here. It was that wide open. The master plan was Harris. You know, that guy say on the street all year after we dropped him. Nobody thought he was good enough for even fourth string.

When I think back at running QBs they mostly fall under the Gus that rely on their athleticism way too much. Mike Vick admitted he didn’t work. Murray they put a clause he needs to do some kind of work on his own. Many were more slender. Not very coachable.

When I think of running QBs...I think of guys that run 17 times in a game.  I think of guys that have more rushing attempts than they have completions.   I think of a guy who was on pace to break the record for most rush attempts in a season for a QB.

I don't read between the lines...it's not complicated. It's literally a QB that runs a lot. Nothing more or less.

It doesn't have anything to do with his work ethic, his arm strength, his size,  his race.... or anything else.  Just a dude that plays QB and runs a lot.

So explain to me how I was so wrong? How wanting a top draft pick S was a bad idea? Give Gannon and actual Dine package. A Nickel. A top backup at three positions.

To me it seems like I was right on. Playoffs. Not regular season. Playoffs.

I mean, are you just not seeing what I’m seeing? Every OC targeted and being super successful against Scott and Wallace?

Our Dime was terrible. Yet Gannon still forced it out there several times a game. I mean really, consider how bad he knew it was but still needed to call it.

SF had a " master plan" of having this QB?  Or McCaffrey?

Does " the master plan" win the Superbowl?   Does New England have to give them back because " the master plan" was for Bledsoe to be the QB not Brady?

Does the job of a GM stop in April, May or August?

You look for every way to discredit Howie, Siri, the OL... anything in the Eagles organization other than the QB.

Which GM had a better " master plan" or did better with the roster in 2022?

I'll explain.

1.  In the history of the Eagles franchise, they have not drafted a S round 1

2.  You don't know who will be there 3 weeks in advance to where you turn down the Saints trade

3. Which S would you trade the Saints picks for if you could make the trade right now?

4.  Do you really think the Eagles would draft a safety for the 1st time EVER...PLUS trade for CGJ?    You really think there is a chance they invest all that into S?   A team we know prioritizes the lines?

For me.... I like having CGJ and the Saints picks.    3 pieces for the future...and a better piece for the present in CGJ.

In no world do you honestly believe that BOTH a 1st round S and CGJ would be on the team right now.   No shot even in your most arrogant obnoxious read between the lines planet Ham mood...would you believe that would have happened.

Why would I discredit Hurts? I think he’s had one of the all time great seasons of an Eagles QB

SF got Kap to just do something at QB but he a liability. Could have won it all.

Clearly the plan at QB has been about the only thing holding SF back since

They’ve spent so much to get Jimmy G. Picks and money. Spent so much for Lance. Yet the team has been right on the doorstep to being sone to win it all. The hard part is finishing that Championship puzzle.

Niners dealt with heavy injuries a season or two also

But their failure at QB has been their undoing

  • Author

Tartt dropped that easy pick and they still would have made it to the big game.

You gotta have a complete team. They’ve been dominating. Always overcoming their QB floundering.

  • Author

GM killing it otherwise. But he’s not a SB GM because of that one piece of the puzzle.

Broncos had a similar flaw

  • Author

You’ve been convinced we’ve been the top team. So why don’t you want to win it all? At least go to the big game being in the NFC?

You easily and readily admit we are losing plenty of talent.

So this is our huge chance.

  • Author

So with such a great team….why be so happy about draft pick next year?

I don’t get it so much. Future picks are nice. But I want to go for it with this squad.

  • Author

Not like draft picks this year wouldn’t be around to help our future.

See where I’m coming from here? You been convinced we are the top team for many weeks.

  • Author

You admit we are going to lose several talented players

So I don’t get why I’m the only one that wanted to give this year all we could.

  • Author

I not only wanted to trade back from 19 to late first. I was suggesting trading picks from next year to add even another pick this year. Like a second rounder.

  • Author

Your ecstatic about our domination in the regular season….but the same about giving away guy(s) so you can add next year.

  • Author

Obviously I was the only one convinced in Hurts before the season. But you keep telling me you were convinced we were a better team than I thought. Yet I’m the one wanting to go for it…your the one saying that who needs any more talent for this great team. You bring up that we haven’t won but one SB. Yet your excited to limit our next best shot at number two.

This stuff doesn’t add up

  • Author

Every other contender trades 2023 picks to get there now. Not just 2023. Every year.

But you are overjoyed to do the opposite.

Seems like league history and every other contending team is on my side.

  • Author

Why am I alone again?

This is common historical thinking

How many contending teams have away their first round pick for future picks?

You do the research.

  • Author

You give me that list. Then I’ll give you the list of how many contenders gave up a future pick to win now

Anybody

I can think of like three a year on my side
