The next part.   CGJ would not be an Eagle if we drafted a S that was looking good in camp.   Regardless if you and I prefer a roster with 10 stellar DBs...we both know he never comes here in that scenario. 

Also...  for me, no way do I think they were a top seed in March..or at the time of the trade.   AJ, Bradberry and CGJ completely changed everything.

No way a rookie S has more impact in 2022... certainly I'm not giving back the Saints picks and CGJ for that rookie.   We can disagree if you prefer the rookie over the current situation. I'm with that.

Sweat, CGJ, Goedert, Lane... to me they make a huge difference.  That's not even talking about your guy Hurts.  They all matter... right now, with this full team in a win or go home mode... vs " even if we lose today to the Saints it doesn't change anything" ... come on.   You know it's completely different.   And they cruised vs the Giants the last week. 

Can they lose this game...sure...  Gannon stays conservative,  Hurts isn't sharp.. then they have a chance. But I wouldn't count on it.

I don't really care for the methods..  results are pretty much it.    If my GM was a complete idiot .   But got extremely lucky each year.. I'm ok with that if it meant a better result. 

My fear with Howie... every time I think he does well.. i see him get a little arrogant and do the dumb stuff again.

At least this time... the WR position is set for a while!  He can't mess it up at least for another 2 more years after this.

Would you prefer to give Hurts a 2020 or 2022 roster going into a contract year. You can't be afraid to put him in a situation to succeed.   As his biggest fan, you know it would have been dumb to give him the crap roster and cut him.  Only Hurts would drive up his own price with his play...which to me can only be considered legit if he had the talent around him to actually do something.   

You praise Dallas for their drafting and handling the cap...should they stop drafting well?    

IMO... keep getting good players and out them in position to succeed..  you can figure out the money later.

I came to this site reading all the draft posts... I don't watch college, so it was enlightening.  Still steal some of these guys ideas in my dynasty draft... GB does well on the skill guys.  93 too.  Wonder where he has been?
