Don't know if Dak will ever get there. By now his processing should be better and it seems he misses seeing a lot of what's happening on the field.

As for McCarthy, he's like what AR was for us - got us there but never take it. Actually worse as he hasn't made it to the big one and doesn't look like he ever will except maybe in jerruhs' eyes.

McCarthy is a moron. Main thing holding them back and the Pack. Thought Quinn did a good job defending Niners. Kellen Moore was fairly good himself. Niners are just that good and tough. We got our hands full now.

Maybe put Jobe in early to put the hurt on a few guys - guy can hit!

Without making 100 posts... this 49ers team is by far....by far...by far the best competition the Eagles have played this year.   Whole different league.    Not to belittle any Eagles accomplishments this year... they went into each week as the better team.   This week is the first 50-50 game.

You can flip it and say the same about the 49ers.   Going to be lots of fun.    If you want to be the best, you gotta beat the best.   Smooth sailing until this point... that changes now.

Excited to see what happens.   We have home field,  and on paper the MVP candidate vs a rookie Mr Irrelevant should be huge advantage.   The 49ers team has a legit test now...  congrats on thr prior accomplishments... but this is another level now.

If asked the question about " winning the battle at the line of scrimmage " ... I would say it's the first battle for our OL..  As fans we have been spoiled by the dominant play of our OL vs inferior competition.   I think a stalemate will probably seem like we lost the battle... but the flip side is probably the same perception from their fans with their stud DL.

I feel they will need to rush more than 4.  If they remain rushing 4... Hurts will beat them all day with shorter passes and his running.   I like Ryan's as a DC... smart player while he was here, you could argue the smartest defensive player  we had here in however long.  I think he sends more than 4.  Plenty of run blitzes... and he forces Hurts left as much as possible. If not, they in trouble.

Our pass rush and secondary is the best combo their QB has faced. Want to see how we cover their guys. Going to be an exciting weekend, AFC will be a battle as well

Any props on how many turnovers we get?

May turn out to be the factor for winning the game

Agree with Dak... some dumb decisions.  He struggles under pressure.

McCarthy... Ham put it nicely.   If he is like our Andy Reid.. that would be awesome if he stays 11 more years in Dallas.   But idk that any owner other than old school stubborn Lurie will keep a coach around that long without a SB.   We can only hope.

Jerry has some big time contracts coming up... to do that Dak and Lawrence are going to have to restructure their deals.. lock them in even longer with more dead $$.  They are on that Bronze medal hamster wheel.

Yes.... everything you say about one team, it's the same for the other.

Gotta run up those badge numbers 🤣

The 49ers faced the Chiefs back in October.     Their last loss,  a big loss!   Mirror easy schedule just like us.

So for both teams, it's going to be a wake up call.

Advantage us being at home

Advantage them with already playing a close game vs Dallas. Which was also pretty physical.

This is so fun... football at the high level is the best.    As a kid those Steelers vs Cowboys matchups and them the 49ers vs Dallas ones in the 90s...  this is what sports is about.

That's my thought,if you want to beat the 9ers,you need to ruffle the rook QB. He's going to be excellent moving forward for them, but we need to strike while he is still a rook with things yet to learn. I believe you do that by giving him defensive looks he hasn't seen. You can't read what you can't understand . At the very worst, you force them to use a time out,so I would try doing that. Little things will matter in this game. No BS penalties is another thing and of course hold onto the ball, they will be attacking the ball on every tackle

Will dullass have an honest QB competition next yr w/ Rush?

I give Ham credit on this one.   You can really talk up the specifics in this matchup.  He did it, so no need to rehash.    But for me, it's finally legit competition now...no more cliche " any given Sunday" where we know in reality we should win.  This one is a toss up.

A win this week to me, way more impressive than the 15 wins combined...including more impressive than how they dominated in those wins.   Beat the 49ers by 1 point, best accomplishment by far all season.

Nope.  $$$ is too high for Dak

That, defend the run up the middle and protect the middle of the field. cowpies didn't adjust to any of that and their O play calling is so unimaginative - well except for that last play which was so f'd up

They also need to rethink Zeke vs Pollard, who waited patiently in the wings for his shot

If Daks sits he'll redo his contract for a trade.

Zeke has his role, gets paid too much for it

IDK that they would be in trouble,we will have our hands full with their offense as well. This should be a super "classic" WAR. I'm hoping what everyone else is saying that our D line can beat up their O line. Get to Purdy early,it worked against Jones, that was my plan for him also. That would be an early down goal for me, to rattle Purdy. He can throw picks as well as any rook LOL. Hurts needs to watch, they are great at setting up QB's for picks. Hurts needs to see those reads and pay attention to the guys who can jump his passes

The 49'ers are beatable. I'm not worried one bit.

Right, but now what do you do with Pollard? IDK when his contract is up,but he is the better RB right now for them

Pollard is a free agent.  $$$$ Jerry...$$$$.

Will cause too much dead money for Dallas... they are stuck with Dak for now.

Should be a great game. Gnats didn't put up alot of competition, but it was a nice "get the rust" off game for us. This is the game where we find out what we really have. It was basically another easy schedule we had, theirs was tougher. Looking forward to this one.Home field will matter. I will take the 12th man when I can get it

I have to be honest with you... stopping the run and getting to the QB early...should be the goal every week.    Really..EVERY WEEK.  Doesn't matter the opponent.

I thought so,wasn't sure,so now 'ol Jer has to open the wallet for RB's (LOL). Or maybe we snag him(Pollard) HAHAHAHA

Sure, but in post season that gets magnified. Defending Kittle WILL be a problem for us. I'm hoping we can blitz a little more than normal. Like to see Davis in Purdys face

The TE is free agent, the big LB... 4th year for Lamb and Diggs...etc.   they have $$$ issues coming up.  They lack cap space, they need Dak and Lawrence to redo and create more dead money.
