McDonald(edge) moved up my board quite a bit. Sadly he falls into that gray void we have between 30 and 62,although I wouldn't be mad with a 30 pick there because it seems he has alot of ceiling yet. But I also like Kancey at 30. He can play inside or be used outside as an edge rusher. I love that versatility(and he is a homer too-Pitt). My thoughts are to move back from both 10 and 30 for more picks. if we can move back a bit and take Ham and Joe's(sounds like coffee and a sammich 🤣) TE,I would do that. I still want a ROT and if we aren't doing that with pick 1,then I like the guy from Tennessee who protected Hooker on his Heisman run before he got hurt. I also wouldn't be mad if we took Hooker at 30. he plays just like Hurts.

Pick 31 is very interesting. So many ways can go. Huge pick to get right.

Sure...I'll take Edlemen, Welker or Antonio Brown in the slot, just like how Gronk had it.    The main point,  the 4th option in the passing game needs to have impact... stats are part of it, but it's the matchup too.

Be huge for certain opponents to have that matchup advantage. Little too much blockers for my taste so far. I like what Stoll brings. But I’d rather not have him out there for half the snaps. Just not a real threat as a receiver. Pascal as well.

Reckless driving after partying in college? I’m not damning a guy for that.

And not caring people died. Must be your style

Yes definitely was his fault that he sucked. Like he got all that money and he forgot about football

So who is your FA WR pick up?(make sure he's cheap too) Why should I care if another team overpaid him? Has nothing to do with me

Or we can spend a later pic on an Edelman/Welker. Just depends if you think Mayer is worth that round 1 pick. There is no wrong answer just a matter of opinion. Higgins has similar traits to Pitts. Not the same caliber(as of now),but he's around in round 7,so you just have to weigh the amount of impact. Njgiba would be a great pick. Would he make an impact in a slot role? You bet. So just depends what you are after. I will rely on the offensive staff to make that call

I suspect they’ll get Calcatarra some competition. I like Josh Whyle from Cincy. Think he’d at least be an upgrade.

Mayer of course is worth a first. Number ten? Not sure. Probably the BPA there though.

I would be ok with him, if we traded back to 15. We have more holes to fill than at TE

Depends,if he splits the stats with Goedert he's not. I can find blockers in round 7. He would have to add to the offense totals not just split with Goedert. Maybe he can do that. That would be a great way to run Goedert out of town by selecting a TE with the first pick. We're good at bringing up TE's so find a good one that "needs work". With all that we need unless good players all disappeared when we pick,I wouldn't take him first unless we plan on trading Goedert

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/kayshon-boutte-wr-lsu-nfl-draft-scouting-report-2023/  Case in point. This kid will be a star somewhere and we could probably get him at 30(IDK he may go alot higher but thats where he is ranked right now). Those LSU WR's can play in or out (see JJ),so if we're talking about Mayer, then you can talk about this kid as well

He’s very intriguing. Two surgeries on that ankle really concerns me.

Judging medicals is difficult from here. But that ankle is everything for his career.

So he was a fit 2 years ago too,but somehow not now? 🤣 And you didn't hear this from anyone lately??? Sure.it's an opinion,it's also my opinion he would be great in the less usage RBBC. But I understand I know nothing,am clueless and a hater LOL

The offense clearly rolled in the SB. But I thought we missed that big play weapon out of the backfield. Sanders never healed from that late season injury it seemed. Gainwell stepped up better than I was expecting. But nothing special. He’s an all around back though. Scott is better. But both are depth guys. I could see us really toasting people if we loaded the RB room. Turn those Gainwell 6 yard gains into 25 yard plays….or to the house.

If Howie broke tradition and took Witherspoon,I wouldn't be mad

The offense clearly got stuffed in the SB 2nd half

The SB should never be in Glendale again

We can't keep relying on Hurts in short yardage. Just a matter of time before that ankle gets twisted in the pile and now we have no BU QB either

https://www.profootballnetwork.com/jalin-hyatt-wr-tennessee-nfl-draft-scouting-report/ I would take this kid at 30 also. Both him and Boutte are slot guys. Quez goes away

Speed is always great. But this guy needs a bunch of development I think. Has no route tree. Can’t get off a jam. NFL huge difference there. Even in college it says they schemed him open. Got him free releases. So he’s sketchy I think. Not saying he can’t get there. But he’s only a Go route guy for the first two years. Well and stack screens.

He left the scene of a fatal accident.

That doesn't look good

I guess you and I are built different than Ham lol

So scheme him open isn't that our coaches job???? Like every play?

This could be a perfect after the draft move honestly probably wait until like right before the season starts.
likely guy like Fournette going to look for a team that he has a chance to win with. And even in a committee backfield would get touches. Even likely to take less money to play for a contender.

Fournette said he wanted to be released to be on a contending team. All he cares about. But I’m not real excited about him now. Solid and professional. He’s not creating any big plays anymore I don’t think.

Hyatt is one of the few players every cycle that you can describe with one word. His? Speed. Game-breaking, rage-inducing, nightmare-filling speed. Simply put, he is the premier deep threat in either this class or the next. But the Tennessee WR isn’t a track star playing football; he’s a football player with track speed.

When running vertical routes, Hyatt explodes off the line and right past the opposition. Cornerbacks fear his speed, giving him ample cushion underneath. And yet, he knows how to set up off-coverage defenders downfield, driving them to open their hips prematurely before stemming the opposite way.

Even if defenders turn and bail out of their technique to try and match the Tennessee WR’s speed, they simply can’t.                   .  yeah he sucks LOL

That was my thought when I suggested him. Ham doesn't like him, I do. He will be cheaper than Sanders at any rate and we know he can play. At 29 he may have 1-2 years left. With Gains and I hope Scott, that should be enough for the RBBC. We can pick up a UDFA or 7th rounder.. I think ROT,edge, DT and CB should be the top 4(any order) We'll probably need a new slot guy which should not be hard to find. I'm not good at LB so you guys would know that

I would just love to see guys gash defenses when the Oline can create a quality hole. Fournette can pickup the physical extra yard. But huge difference when the Oline does well if you have a playmaking weapon back there.  Missed that in the SB.
