You are going up against a top QB...what do you hope the other team does....." pass the least amount possible "

He signs them for one year and spreads the signing bonus out for years. Probably his favorite contract. I haven’t seen it to verify it in this instance…,but very likely.

And remember, years ago i was one of Howies biggest critics.

We just lost both S and both LB….starting G and RB. If you play chess by downgrading your position….then yes. He was able to hold on to the Eagles Hall of Fame players. Hargrave couldn’t have been helped.

The D underperformed in the most crucial times. A less talented D could outperform last season’s D. Plenty of the stat numbers look good for the D. Turnovers they did well. Sacks they did well. Cowboys and SB especially they stunk. Embarrassing! What D would have surely done worse than those performances league wide? Gannon was /is overrated. My worry is part of it being Siri fault. He clearly states his philosophy of D being focused on not giving up the big play. Of course, you don’t want to give up the big plays….but just playing too scared at a certain point.

The defense mirrored 2017 playoff run.. dominated at home... stunk in SB when DL was neutralized by either field or holding.   In both cases the opposing D also came up short.   In 2017 our offense executed key pass plays to keep the ball... vs KC we missed a couple and gave away a free 7 with a fumble and  basically a 2nd free one with the punt coverage.

We DO play 3 tech(or used to) so he would be a good fit. IDK at 23 though. But I will let the pros decide since rankings are just guesses

I would have to lean toward it being most on Gannon's shoulders for the few underwhelming performances. Cause this was one of the best Eagle's D seasons I've seen through the past 40+ seasons.
