Do the Eagles think Dean is ready to be a starter? I saw losing ONE LB but not both. Ouch!

Any chance the Eagles take the Texas RB at 10? Dude’s game film is impressive!

I'll take Njigba as our slot

Ehhhh....seems like the reporter is looking for something here.  Lamar's contract is the bigger issue for the players.    This CGJ nonsense just needs to end....we've moved on, the media should too.

Please inform. Njigba plays what position and from what school?

Slot WR,Ohio state. Killed the combine. Reminds me of JJ who we passed on for loser Reagor. That would give us 4 outstanding receivers. Howie can fix his Reagor screw up with this pick LOL

AJ,Smith,Njigba,Goedert. We would be set in the passing game for at least 3 years while we re-build the defense

Bad time of year for writers, they have to look in corners for stories

https://www.nfl.com/news/daniel-jeremiah-2023-nfl-mock-draft-3-0-bucs-colts-panthers-texans-vikings-pick- Like Van Ness, but IDK if I could pass on Njigba. Nice linemen left at 30. Depends on your point of view

I would take Njigba and Uzomah if it was my choice. Uzomah has some work to do and we'd have a year to get him going and work him in as the season progressed

Changed my mock again. If you had to take an edge at 30 who would you take? Uzomah? McDonald? Someone else? like to hear others input. We need to get one in here due to the 1 year signings. So here is an updated mock 1-10 Njigba-WR  1-30-pick your edge guy, still some nice ones here 2-62-Charbonnet-RB- UCLA(played at Michigan before he transferred). Solid RB for our future 3-94-Ji'Ayr Brown-S-Penn state  7-219-DTR-QB-UCLA(tons of upside here!!) 7-248-pick someone. I'm leaning towards ReQuon O'Neal the OT-UCLA-he was also a transfer, final year at UCLA

If I knew what they know about Sermon, perhaps we can forego the RB at 62,but I have zero clue about him at this point. No "body of work" to point to since we got him here. In the event Penny goes down(his track record is not good) adding Charbonnet could help out with that in the rotation

There are vet RBs out there if needed that would love to come run in this offense.  I don't view that position as  a need to draft.  They may choose to if they really like a player, but it's definitely not necessary.

True,I just think Howie could do what we did with Sanders. Ride him then get a comp pick

Womens straw weight title fight on ESPN. Good match so far. OOOOOH they don't like each other LOL

More things to worry about....there is a reason RB gets paid the lowest.  We are fine there...unless they really like a guy.  Need to get those lines depth and younger.

I have no clue what Howie is thinking. Penny doesn't exactly have a great record of lasting a season

True, right now only Gainwell is locked in cheap for another 2 years, the rest on one year... so that's the plus side to drafting a guy or going UDFA.  Lock them in cheap past this year.

A bit concerned about all the 1 yr deals when we're going to have to pay Hurts. Better really hit in the drafts

Recent history seems to indicate that players on 1 year deals seem to  perform better.

Maybe players on long term deals get complacient. Especially those on their first long term deal.

That's great though, because they also know we would pay them higher to keep them if they produce. They can see we will pay a fair price if we have to.

I'm still hoping this team has play off potential and although losing Penny wouldn't be fun,I would suspect most RB's that could fill would be gone soon after the draft.I have Charbonnet at 62 and Brown(S) at 94,but I could easily see those 2 positions(RB/S) being switched around. In that event Ham's pick of Spears would come into play with a better S at 62.I suspect now Jurgens takes over the RG position which could also have us looking for another C/G even though Kelce said he loves the kid as his replacement. So many ways we could go in this draft. I still feel Njigba would be very effective for us. He can run deep patterns from the slot like JJ does. He is a polished route runner and has Smith as a former teammate(If I recall they played 1 season together before Njigba exploded onto the scene at OSU. Although you can find slot guys by the ton, this one is far and away more explosive than most. This is why I(and most people on this planet) wanted JJ instead of Reagor. Both can hit you from anywhere on the field. He would definitely create problems for defenses. I believe this would be the best 3 player tandem in the league, then you add Goedert and I have no clue which team could cover all 4. Pulls the D back making the running game easier. So Njigba is still my pick at 10. If we trade back that goes out the window, but we still could for another pick. IMO he is better than Olave also. 1 month away now

I'm still a fan of my UDFA DITR RB that I pick every year-Chris Brooks. Would not surprise me if we snagged him as well. We seem to be very good at "after draft" signings. I hope his is one of them.
