I like Shew. But he is not the same type QB as Hurts. We built the team for Hurts and that is not Shews style. I think he will do fine in a system that is suited to his style. Shew was never a run threat like Hurts is,so it was a bit easier for teams to put the clamps on

So Richardson’s style is better for Shew than Hurts?

So Hurts will fail unless he wins a Superbowl....I like that mindset.   You are getting it now.

Yep, only one you can blame for everything. But when he does well… it’s because of the Oline or Wr

Good morning everyone!!!   Great day to be an Eagles fan....thanks Howie!

I'm getting a laugh out of the videos claiming the Eagles cheated in the draft.

I got a chuckle out of this one

Mostly because of the way Rosie does things. The dead money. The backloading so hard of contracts. Not clearing the cap first.

Literally what every GM does lol 😂 not just a Howie thing

Yes and no lot of people don’t think Richardson will start day 1…. Good chance year 1 Shew is the QB and stein will likely have an O catered more to his play. Obviously they will turn the reins over to Richardson and then the O will likely change to something more similar to here in Philly.

But sign of a good coach is building an O around what he has vs trying to force a player into there set scheme

There is a bunch of speculation about the Gannon and Cards contact. Many seem to think the league is forcing everything to be swept under the rug. Rosie isn’t talking. Was that league suggestion/mandated? It was said Gannon had a zoom conference right after the Niners game with Cards GM. Gannon denies it was a Zoom interview. Says it was only a phone call. One Philly media member reported Rosie was furious. How did Rosie find out or come across to bust Gannon out? Just so much more to consider with the SBbeing played in Arizona. Did Rosie find some evidence of them meeting in a restaurant? Seems like more to this story we’ll probably never hear the full truth about.

Go look at Mahomes contract mmmmm early on low cap it and gradually increases…. Backloaded deal…. Can literal look at probably 95% of players and the deals all are backloaded

Colts owner already clearly stated that you learn more/better/quicker playing than sitting.

Colts owner also directly said it’s Shane’s call so moot point

Chiefs have 7 mil in dead money versus 54 we have. Clearly not every GM does it to Rosie’s level. I stated that most GMs don’t have job security like Rosie.

Tells me that Richardson has to look far from remotely ready to not get the nod. Owner stating publicly he’s not forcing depth chart decisions on the HC….shocker he’d say that in public. Considering that decision should be purely up to the HC. His job description. Nice of him to not totally emasculate Steichen before he even gets to TC

That's what Irsay does. Also why they're consistantly bad.

He needs to play…but it’s actually the HC’s call. Nice walk back.

Come on we all know we weren’t going to pay for a RB… you would have ****ed and moaned if we gave Hargrove the kind of deal he just signed at what 32 year old…. And the rest if we truly wanted back we could have gotten.

chiefs with the least dead money let there best WR go from a year ago team make decisions all the time on guys

Look i love to bet I’ll call it now if Richardson is the day 1 starter he is going to be a bust and Shane fails in Indy

If you had the extra 54 mil of dead money….don’t think that would change any decisions here?
