For a while seemed like Hurts was frustrated w/ the passing game and took it upon himself until we got the running game going.

You make a decent case. But only based generically on stats. Bigger picture stats at that. But I’m not so sure the situations and opportunities were so equal. Gainwell really been given the most choice chances from Siri all along. But starter went down…even Siri’s blind love for his chosen back Gainwell didn’t prevail. That says more than YPC based on not equal carries. Siri has done nothing but try to give and get Gainwell there. Hardly wanted to roster Scott. Scott just keeps forcing the issue. But I concede that there isn’t this massive divide between the two. I give Gainwell the nod in blocking. Leaning towards Gainwell running routes better as well. Might lean Gainwell on just falling forward more. Scott is short and really thick. Making him a tougher tackle for defenders. Scott has that hunger and competitive edge. Scott is more allusive and shifty. Scott also has an edge in burst through the hole. Vision I lean Scott also.

If Scott has better vision, better at making defenders miss, tough to tackle, competing and hunger edge…. Why is he avg less per carry? Why did he have less yards?

Scott had 54 carry’s last year gave us 4ypc

Gainwell had 53 and gave us 4.5ypc

Clearly own dude was showing he was better at running then the other and it ain’t the guy that so much better at everything running the ball as you say

You can re-watch what you missed (didn't miss) or not. Most of the 1/2 was boring with few exceptions. but we got the W. The home field offset the short week

Nah....I'm good.   I'm all fantasy now... and onto game 3 for the Eagles.    Not my job to rewatch and correct things....lol.

Davis got in on Cousins that one time, think he really had to hold himself back from pancaking him, just hit him w/ his chest and knocked him down.

Cox played 42 snaps w/ bruised ribs.

Gainwell is better...let's not entertain the silliness.    Scott is a special team player who is good for a few snaps per game. ... a few more snaps if it's the Giants.

I think the new OC has alot to learn, but he saw what he was doing wasn''t working,so I hope he learned a little

Gainwell was better v the Giants last year as well.

Final game v the Giants

Gainwell 5 carry’s 35 yards 7 ypc

Scotf 9 54 yards 6ypc

Giants playoffs

Gainwell 12 112 yards 9ypc

Scott 6 32 yards 5.3ypc

Lmao you can judge gainwell off 6-8 carry’s he had in 1 drive and the scatter 6 he had the rest of the game.
But I can’t judge Penny on looking slow lol 😂 it was pretty clear the man didn’t have the burst just looked sluggish and slow

I keep saying I’m not just judging Gainwell on week one. But I take your opinion on Penny. I have heard others saying similar about him. Was thinking early on in TC he maybe was the least in his element with no real contact. But if Penny lost his burst from those injuries then he isn’t worth keeping around really. A player that struggles with durability that lost a step isn’t of much help at RB for us. Really says so much about Sermon if he couldn’t beat out such a player. I haven’t seen enough to form my own opinion on Penny yet. My thoughts are solely based on looking at his past top flashes. While noting he probably brings more of the physical role to compliment the others don’t.

Idiots took their sailboat out, coast guard had to rescue them. Their insurance shouldn't cover it.

Also to add not 100% sure how many of the QB runs were designed QB runs(know there was a few) v Hurts opting to keep on an RPO

Both Jaws and McNabb were saying to scrap the RPO... if you are telling your QB not to get hit....why run it.    Makes no sense.

I agree... plus as they said, he needs to worry about the pass game... he can run if he gets flushed out, as a last option.

Your not judging him on last year either when he was clear as day a better option then Scott and wasn’t even that close of a battle…

Watching Scott he can spin and get a few more yds but can't break thru tackles where Gainwell can

I was wonder how much the RPO is effecting the passing game… so many bubble screens, very little motions or rub routes etc. don’t really stack WRs

Especially when watching Vikings and how they had plays specifically designed to scheme guys open… Just highlighted how little we did that

See this is where the nonspecific judgments being based on I find flawed. Scott has lit the Gmen up. But Gainwell went off in the playoffs almost all coming in the fourth quarter. Huge blowout game we already had going. Gmen actually believed in their own hype thinking they had a chance against us. That fourth quarter they were broken and beaten totally humiliated. I loved it! Give credit that Gainwell did take full advantage. But least important situational stat stuffing. The important test was against KC. Average run D. Great Oline for him. He failed. Just not good enough. But every carry just isn’t equal. My eyes see Scott the better option. Not saying Scott goes crazy against KC…but would have been effective. We wouldn’t have been forced to go empty backfield like Gainwell’s play resulted in.

Maybe I missed it,but I saw no(or not many) targets to the slot. Just personally,I didn't like the early play calls. They didn't work and we kept repeating them

I mentioned that last night. We haven't had good bubble screens since Sproles, other than that I usually don't like them. We simply couldn't get open mid field

Ok so want to ignore the season finale when he still avg more ypc

You mean when Scott was giving us 2.7 ypc man he was soooooo much better lol 😂 with that great OL v that avg. run D

2-0 in the books. Time to prep for the Bucs. Iffy QB with decent enough WR's

Coast Guard shouldn’t deal with that crap. When they have big hurricanes hitting and evacuate..they tell you help won’t come if you stay. You are on your own. Which is fair. I’ve been the guy racing to beat them closing the roads down so I can surf. But it’s understood emergency services aren’t aiding me if things go bad during that time. But East coast surfing is massively dependent on hurricane swells. Just the way it is. But once the winds get so high it’s just stupid to deal with. Already have large waves and massive currents pulling you. I’d vote leave the morons on a sailboat to mother natures decision. Coast Guard job is dangerous enough. Those guys are special people. BS to risk their lives over that. Let the morons drown…save them and they’ll just end up breeding.

Last 3 games look good for us, Gnats/AZ/Gnats to close it out,but we need to get there. Some tough games this year,it will be fun to watch

That happened off NY, up here word went out earlier - we're NOT coming for you.

Unfortunately dem boyz look good from the start.

Those idits were from NY but sailed their 27 ft sailboat off the cape. That boat won't make it out on this water. Insurance co must have an idiot clause
