Our trees face the golf course so add privacy as well as protection. FOr the limited amount of land here, there are 29 golf courses. Ones along the canal are open yr round.

PFF usually good,I can't agree with this. Swfit had a career game and they forgot about that?

Do you know what's wrong w/ Scott? I'm half asleep

All these peeps driving to the beach to watch the surf and hunt for uncovered stuff like see glass or the occasional sunken ship treasure. Their cars are getting sandblasted, finishes ruined. Park a few blocks away and walk

Forgot Scott's in concussion protocol - duh!

A mind is a terrible thing to waste....or loose! | Funny quotes, Funny ...

If I wasn't so tired I'd be at the beach too. Tourists don't know the water is actually warmer than the outdoor temp right now. One of the best times of the yr to be here - low # of tourists and we can make left turns!

Don't see a grade for Carter, Davis was impressive, not just a run stopper anymore, ran down Cousins

Casey Hayward on a 1 yr?

Howie may have something going w/ a Barnett trade. Still think it's weird trying to trade the guy, freeing up the roster and no signing. Very un-Howie like

Dodged a bullet, 3 miles out had 8" of rain

From ESPN;

CB Anthony Brown: The Cowboys never really replaced him after he suffered a torn left Achilles in early December. Signing back on a one-year deal makes the most sense for both sides. The Cowboys know what the seven-year veteran can do, and Brown can complete his rehab with the only team he has known in order to build up his market for 2024. He is a better cornerback than most fans want to think.

He's on the squeelers PS

Vikes had only 9 rushes for 28 yds.

On to TB

Other teams haven't played yet, injuries every week,so perhaps he is waiting(see hoping) someone needs Barnett due to injury

One benefit of the RPO is it leaves one defender not needed to be blocked. That tips the odds for the O a bit. The decision making has to be quicker actually running these. It’s just another tool in the toolbox.

Foles was described this way for a reason. Really smart guy. He can read defenses well. But he has a glacial delivery. That’s why he’s better off limiting his reads. Takes him too long to get the pass out by the time he got to the third read.

Reading NFL D is a career long learning process. Even the most grizzled pros get fooled at times still also. Basically three separate factors. The personnel. The rush. The coverage. The job of the D is to muddy the waters as much as possible with the QB reading both. NFL athletes can cover much more ground.  Gotta realize it’s not just so simple as Man or Zone coverages. Many different forms of Zones. But what I’m pointing out is the mixtures also. Can play Man on one side and Zone on the other. Or a one player specific Man inside Zone coverage. Including Double Coverage.

The best way to expose the D is motion. Gives the QB an extra deciphering tool. Then you also not just have the QB reading all three factors. But then he needs to hopefully manipulate the defenders. Or really A defender. Freezing a LB or S being the most common. But when the QB deciphers everything correctly he’s going with his first read often. Him and his coach have expectations for read progressions for each play against D play specific. So if the QB is trying to manipulate a S….while doing that he’s not likely to be going through all these other read options. Still much of the time comes down to just a player beating his guy.
In the Pats game I think their D was showing some coverages that shouldn’t be possible to be lined up like they were occasionally. Because it can’t account for every receiving threat. A guy might be running free…but the D had tricked the O on the coverage. It’s a gamble that really isn’t that often played. Pats were gambling a fair amount. Doing so probably almost positioning the O reads in their favor. Showing the QB that the probable best option appears to be the very last option when hit and played just right.

To simply the novel.. the whole world knows the defense tries to confuse the QB. Yes, many different coverages.

Running RPO for your whole life,  trying to dummy down the process, doesn't help the QB develop these skills.   It's like training wheels. You never really learn how to ride a bike until you take them off.

1.  Nick Foles had a slow delivery.   Let's not act like it took extra seconds here.  It didn't stop him from getting to read #3.

2.   If you don't want your QB to get hit... then don't put him in position to where the correct read is to keep the ball.

3.  You want to develop his basic QB skill of reading a defense... stop with the RPO.

I trust both McNabb and Jaws in this opinion.  They were very adamant about it.

Next draft I want Jeremiah Trotter jr. Howie's just going to have to buck history. I'm certain he will do what I tell him 🤣. It would, however, be a fitting, fan happy pick as well as a good move for the future at the position. Really want to keep an eye on him this year

I thought you guys like this Queen guy from Baltimore?  Isn't he a free agent?

Waiting to hear about a signing having freed up roster spots - CB? A little strange not having a signing right away w/ extra time before our next game.

Isn't it all practice squad moves?

You don't have to play fantasy to know it's fairly ignorant to start a defense that just got blown out by 40 points. yes Dallas is good, but 40 points good, is a defense I would avoid in week 2 lol. Gotta love the rookie fantasy panic crew

Dallas basically scored 40 due to their defense.  Their offense didn't do much.  The guy is playing matchups.

If the holes were there... the RB isn't going to get that high of a grade in their system.

Still, hard to trust them(gnats D). They play AZ. yeah AZ isn't great but this could be their game LOL. It's not like the Gnats D did anything to warrant a start this week

So just ignore a career high game? OK, well they need to tweak a few things

LB we always go cheap at nothing new even last year it was more guys stepping up then us investing…. White was cheap but played well for us and obviously TJ developing was huge.

Now we need Dean to stay healthy and develop.

S im little more shocked we didn’t invest more at but FA market didn’t look that great in the off-season and so think we are high on Blankenship

Both SB runs our team had the LB and S covered. Might be something to this.
