I’m not going to argue the complete opposite. It wasn’t at a high point. Redskins were a playoff team most likely if the league wasn’t battling against Snyder. Well it was just last year they went with Wentz though. Seems so long ago that guy  lost all juice. If the Skins had turned it over to Howell earlier…would have been tougher for Goodell to make sure they lose enough. Giants got them a good HC. We weren’t that far ahead of the Cowboys to just win our division even. Vikes won every one score game they played. Plenty enough talented team. Lions put things together last year. Lions took it to us week one. ARod with the Pack and their talent…wasn’t a cupcake team. Bears were…ughhh entertainingly bad. Brady and the Bucs waved goodbye. ATL suffered through Mariota doing something boneheaded towards every fourth quarter. Saints beat us with their very good D. Seattle stepped up. Legit team they had. Not good enough to win their division…last year or this year. Niners found their QB and didn’t lose with him until Reddick said "HELLO!” That’s just the weaker NFC side.

Shew came in, 16/20, 160 yds and a TD in about a qtr and a half. Wish him luck, just didn't fit our scheme

Yeah was going to say…only a couple of teams has it worse than our history of SB. It was looking like the Cards were going to get their parade before us. I’m not a Steelers fan. But kind of wanting them to stop the Cards from …well …..make us look like a worse franchise(the Eags fan perspective). How messed up would that have been? We even kicked them out of the division hehehe. Pats completely flipped the switch on their franchise…with the benching of Bledsoe…well maybe it was more about the guy that took his job. Not feeling fair to judge the Jags and Texans as even playing field. Dang own coach stopped the Vikes. Not when we totally destroyed them in the playoffs. I’m talking about the only time to root for the Vikes…Cunningham was unstoppable that season. Coach decided to down the ball and run out the first half? Cunningham only seemed to need about 20 seconds to go 80 yards for the TD that year. Was great to see him get that opportunity with them at that moment. Also a bit bittersweet. Probably was his top season. Wasn’t a full season unfortunately for him. But to have it not be as an Eag. Was with Carter…adding to the Eag fan intrigue and one year bandwagon Viking cheering. Their great K missed like his only miss too, right. Vikes win that NFC Championship game…the SB would have been easier game. 
  Browns almost deserve their own three paragraphs of misery that they’ve faced. Poor fans. Dang Elway. Ernest Byner fumbling…he was known to never do. Then Modell packed up everything but the unis in the middle of the night…for Baltimore to steal them away. Baltimore of all cities is extra insult to injury. Not like St Louis losing out to LA. But then the franchise wins the SB two years later. As short as I could stand to mention the Browns poor plight.

 Anyway…only a few teams below us talking about SB windows. But we haven’t achieved looking through contending championship window honestly. More just had a Championship Door. Closed shut all but once. Can talk about how I thought we could have seen it …but Cunningham got injured. Then speedy Jerome. Those two incidents occurring like they did was so crushing. Just felt like nothing would ever work out for us at that moment. Then basically TO. Could have been a window…but know. Owens was too busy throwing his popcorn through it.

 Felt like our current situation could have been our best opportunity. Those Hurts cap hits should have really made it a huge window. But last year the window suffered a crack right during installation. Believe last season was the best …easiest …most perfectly timed and setup year. Should have won that ring. Pacheco and JuJu they beat us with. We beat ourselves. I firmly believe the league cheated us to setup the Mahomes print money dynasty …after the Brady era completed. The field sabotage and final tic tac penalty. But half our team didn’t show up. Top rushing team couldn’t run the ball. Top sack team didn’t sack the QB. On and on…..half the team and coaches didn’t even show up to play…and still should have won that ring. That one is going to sting for a long time. Seems like I’ve been feeling it much more than others here. Think maybe because you guys maybe have a bunch of optimism  thinking this year…and the next few it will happen. I’m not so sure and optimistic. It could happen this season. But not seeing it occurring without some real good luck assisting. That team health last year just won’t happen again. Now took a step down…and going to deal with injuries. Sadly not super optimistic that next year the team will be going up instead of down. That’s two years while having the cheap QB. Then have to actually start paying the piper at the QB position. I don’t want to be totally negative with no hope. But just the blunt honest way I’m seeing things.

Both QBs doing well against the Texans. Kind of like Ohio St puffing their chests out about doing well against Appalachian St. Texans have the Buckeye QB as their gift for stinking so bad. Not sold on him. Richardson I’m not sold on…but he has the huge potential ceiling at least. Texans aren’t going anywhere…poor DeMeco. After taking Stroud number two. They still should tank trying to get to first pick to take..a QB. Might even have another QB or two rise up they should take this next draft. Texans getting Stroud is pretty much fitting for those poor guys.

Oh…and I haven’t been a fan near that long. Cunningham brought me in. That and..hating the Cowboys and Redskins. Hate just not even strong enough word for my feelings on the Giants…{spits}!
