We pressured Mayfield as much as they pressured Wentz. The difference is that Mayfield had better picket awareness and delivered the ball accurately and decisively. He had worse receivers than us, yet he made them look better. The last two weeks, if we swapped QBs, we win in blowouts.

Not even remotely as close and difference Baker had a pocket to step into Wentz didn’t a ton and again ton of the sacks I seen him take he didn’t even get to set from his drop....

I will give it that Baker made a ton of better throws under pressure and off balance... The browns also did a way better job moving him around getting him out the pocket.

But in terms of OL play and time we didn’t get nearly as much pressure and not nearly as fast.... Plenty of times I didn’t even think we blocked a guy...

Veron was coming in clean it seemed like Peters got beat think for 3 sacks... Lane let a guy run right by him was terrible day all around

I think both lines had some pretty shaky plays. Sweat beat his guy quickly for a sack and the Cox forced fumble was pretty quick pressure as well. But if you look at the play where Wentz threw the pick six, there was max protect and only two guys out on a route, one of whom was wide open. If you can't make that throw, what are you even doing? And on the safety, he stood in his own endzone for five seconds. No one gets that kind of time. And apparently Goedert was wide open, though I didn't see the replay. Those are plays that cost us the game.

I get his line play hasn't been great, but it certainly hasn't been awful. And if we need a perfect pocket on every snap for him to make plays plus receivers getting several yards of separation, then I want my $130 million back, since any qb can do well under those circumstances.

I watched that play a ton actually Wentz didn’t even set from his drop before getting crushed and you say it was max protect that makes it even more sad.... Sure maybe take the shot to think reagor but by the time he set from his drop and throws A. Was getting hit B. Reagor gets hit

Definitely wasn’t 5 seconds and the OL Semaulo and JP got beat on a double team block... Again that was just sad watched the play numerous times.... not even speaking of the times 3 men got pressure on Wentz....

OL was terrible Wentz wasn’t much better but OL got him hit and killed on every snap even when he was just slinging it away

This is the play.

Carson Wentz Giving Thanks by Throwing a Pick 6 to Browns - YouTube

He had plenty of time to make the throw, but didn't pull the trigger. Plus, even if you don't go to Reagor, just launch it deep to Fulgham who is one on one with no safety help.

Obviously Rodgers is clueless on the play. But the ball has to be delivered when guys are wide open.

Reagor gets blown up on that throw sorry just reality yes should have thrown it give you that but again clean hit on the QB throw to Sanders is made maybe for nothing if he doesn’t get crushed by a free defender

This is the safety. The ball is snapped at just past the 2 second mark and the sack takes place just before the 6 second mark. So that's around four seconds.

That is a lack of pocket awareness. He had two guys open underneath that he missed.

I'm actually more upset he didn't throw the ball to Fulgham, who has shown he can make plays down the field in one on one coverage.

Soooo 3 secs is what I’m seeing and we ignore the fact Semaulo and JP got split on a double team lmao

Look Wentz trying to make a play get a first down maybe again should have gotten rid of it(that got **** at for going underneath and not trying for the first down)....  it again that was crap OL play no reason Veron should get that sack

No reason he even gets close

I think it's closer to four seconds. And yes, Seumalo and Peters were horrible. But Goedert is wide open. You can't miss wide open guys over and over again.

I mean, if you get a perfect pocket every snap, any seventh round qb could be a star for us.

We pay Wentz to be better than that.

Game was over at that point. Browns defense would give up those short passes all drive long. That is smart defense in that scenario. If the score were closer, they would NOT have given those up. No way.

No way we will know, we didn't try it. Know the Browns in and out,I have watched them for 47 years lol

3-4 secs(closer to 3) we can cry that Wentz needs to be better he does sure but watching game live which I did Wentz was getting crushed on a play that should have been way better blocked...

Look i the first to blame sacks on Wentz that I think are on Wentz but majority of the sacks today were 110% on OL which was dreadful.

All this being said I’m still on board with benching Wentz especially if the team struggles first half vs Seattle

Tyreek Hill is just ridiculous. He makes catches that are uncatchable(glad he's on my fantasy squad lol) I have Kelce also

Agholor 17 yards TD for vegas. Raiders look solid. Still need a few pieces, but they are getting there

Why dont the Eagles get Wentz out of the pocket more?

The offense just looks soooooo bad. They don’t do anything well right now.

Although I DO think we are in the top 10 for pre-game dance routines-well done 🙄

Wait what? Some comments here suggesting Pederson has lost the locker room? C’mon man! Unless you are in the locker room, thats a stupid comment. You have no freaking idea! So stop it!  Just your opinion....like you know what, everyone has one and they all stink.

Blaming the coach again for everything. How about some of these players step up? How about that? I can’t think of a SINGLE player on this team that doesn't have some blame with this loss. They don't need to look at their coach. They are grown men. They need to look in the mirror and man up!

You're right we don't actually know. We can read in to things or hear rumours but we don't actually know. But I mean it's pretty damming right now isn't it! I mean BG after the game didn't exactly throw his support behind Wentz.

Going into Thsnksgiving .... give thanks the Eagles are in first place...lol.

Btw... 1pm games... 0-6-1

Prime time games. 3-0

The Eagles love the bright lights?

As for today... Sanders fumble changed the game.  I believe it caused Doug to stop running, which to me changes the game for our offense.

Doug abandoned the run game because, well, that’s just what Doug does.  We were only running more early because that was the game plan put together with those first 15 (or whatever the true number is) scripted plays.  Once we were past that idiot Doug rears his ugly head and goes pass heavy with a struggling QB playing behind a struggling OL in crappy weather conditions ... it is inexcusable.

Here are the snap counts from the game.

Eagles snap count analysis: Week 11 vs. Browns | PhillyVoice

Davion Taylor was probably the biggest surprise, getting 18 snaps. I remember seeing his number, but had no idea he was out there that much. I guess seeing how he did will make watching the all 22 somewhat bearable.

Holyfield didn't get a carry, or even play a snap. The oline seems to have been shuffled around a little as Driscoll seems to be hurt. So I guess the team finished with Mailata and Pryor at tackle and Opeta at guard. In all honesty, I wasn't paying much attention at that point.

The secondary continues to be a mess, and we are in for a treat when we face the Seahawks, Packers and Saints. Maddox struggled to absolutely no one's surprise. Mills struggled. NRC struggled. Wallace, Epps and Jacquet combined for seven snaps. At this point I don't see a reason why you wouldn't play the younger guys. You must have seen something in them to put them on the team. Let the take their lumps now.

Singleton and the other linebackers seemed to have a good game. Do we win if Ostman manages to tackle Nick Chubb?

That secondary is really worrying. I mean Slay has played well for the most part but Maddox is a terrible option opposite him. Maddox should be shifted inside or benched at this point. But the fact that we have NRC and LeBlanc at slot corner just goes to show how badly this roster has been constructed. Mills was always going to struggle with a position change but I think so far the evidence suggest it isn't going to be a long term transition and then there seems a refusal to use Parks? Why bring the guy in if they aren't willing to play him? And why not give Wallace more opportunities?

Kelce played with real heart.

I'll bet he retires after the season.
