Lobe the play where Hurts missed the snap and then recovered to complete the pass...and then Calcattara running like a beast to get the 1st down.

Hurts was so athletic on that play to recover the high snap and still make the play. Incredible!

TG we got there-jebus!! Still getting our butt handed to us on deep routes,Howie MUST invest in the position. DeVito had WAAAAAAY too much time to throw. Too close for a team thats pretty bad

Still too many senseless penalties. This secondary reminds me of the pieced together one through the many injuries in 2018. Looking like it could easily be one and done in the postseason. Unless they can get their crap in one pile. They should've dominated the Giants.

They did dominate the Giants.

So if the Rams beat Niners does that make us the 1 seed?

We have strength of schedule over Lions

They're stumbling and bumbling to the division title because the cowpies are phonies......

Although there were a few better routes, the playcalling wasn't much different.....it was just the giants.

They ran the ball more, which produced good yardage....who knew?

But 9 penalties, 4 fumbles, a pick 6, an incredible mistake receiving the 2nd half kickoff, 40% red zone efficiency.....allowing 22 point in the 2nd half.......1 sack against a team leading the league in sacks given up (77)...🤢

A win is a win.......and a step towards the division title. But i don't know how anybody could consider this game confidence building.

From what I saw, the offensive issues abound.....and nothing has improved with the defense....I just can't see this team being effective in the playoffs.  I've held on the hope of the coordinators getting better as the year went on.....but it's brutally clear, they aren't getting better.

This game will result in some misplaced confidence that will keep the eagles from addressing the offensive issue......and maybe they even win out and secure the division title.  But if teams like the giants and seattle are giving the eagles all they can handle.......the playoffs could be over very quickly.

Ok...let's analyze the 25 points from the Giants.

What's another name for butt fumble on kickoff return??.  Then 3 runs for a TD and 2 point conversion.

Then a pick 6 from the former MVP candidate.

Then one long pass play.

Basically 3 fluke plays.   Dude running into his own guy on a kickoff return to fumble....Goedert slips leading to pick 6... and sure, one long pass play.

Otherwise game was dominated by the Eagles.   The issue is... been 3 straight losses... before that 3 kinda sloppy wins... so it's more so annoying that the dominant play didn't translate to the score

30-25 is not dominating. If we are that vulnernable to "fluke" plays, then we can't withstand "bad" ref calls. You know those 1 calls that turn games around? Slayton is NOT a #1 WR,he was beating us deep consistently(even if the pass was not to him he was winning that battle). The opening Covey run back and awesome field position to make it easy for us to to score was the game. If that score doesn't happen we LOSE. We let CRAP teams come back or hang around. There is no "put them away" mentality and it bothers ME(personally). I was sitting on the sofa calling out the next play to my son in law. He said how do you know. I said because we are predictable. Any HS coach can do this same thing(call what's coming). I mean maybe if this was an away game I could call it a "satisfactory" win,but there is no way this should have even been close. If we play like this we're 1 and done in the playoffs. JMO,but the team looks like it's going through the motions only. I want "Hunger" and "fire" and I'm not seeing it. The W's look good, but it's all deception because when it comes to running with the big dogs,we are staying on the porch. First 1/4 was nice to see Goedert going downfield on routes(which I keep preaching), then we reverted back to the sideline BS plays that don't work. It was nice seeing Covey play a few "other" snaps. It was ALMOST like we were innovating(but it was just my imagination). I will admit I missed some of the game opening gifts. I'm just responding to what I saw. DeVito had WAY too much time to throw. Not a good ROI with the investment made on the D line. They aren't getting home and the secondary is weak(which we all know). The Ravens would carve us up(and it wouldn't be close). Stopping the opponents running game is great, that just exposes how crap our secondary is. It does not good to stop the running game if you are that inept at covering the passing game. The Gnats are trash and we made them look like contenders. At least we got to 30 PPG. We're doing the minimum possible and it shows

I loved that play!! I was off the couch for that one

And much more fun to watch as a fan that way.

Personally I enjoy this type of season much more than last year.  The problem is....last year happened first, so the following season its just going to be annoying not to have the easy dominance.    But if this year happened last year... we would be loving it.

That's why I keep saying last year ruined it for the fans..   it was so flukishly easy with every part of the schedule going our way..  suspensions and injuries to opponents,  rest, travel... everything our way.

This year much more fun to play the better teams... just tough to have this after the cake walk video game style play of last year.

Throw in the usual " well the QB got paid and now he can't play BS" that's automatic from a part of our fanbase...just ruins the enjoyment.

What is O,D,ST? I'm a rookie I need the letters explained to me 🤣

So Sportsline Projection Model had Niners at 93 percent chance at the top seed. Eagles at 6 percent. Before these games just happened.

Didn’t feel like a huge bunch of misplaced confidence gained here to me. Avoided disaster. Boy did they come up with some crazy plays to really try and screw things up. But could also look at it like they could make enough plays to overcome all those colossal sized mistakes. Overcame three huge screwups basically giving them three TDs….to still come out victorious!

Ravens locker room chanting MVP. I think Lamar did absolutely lock in winning the award today.

Two games to go and have a legit shot at the top seed. I don’t know where everybody else expectations were to start the season?

Feels like many are Judging on ….not prettty enough. Not clean enough. Not smooth enough. Not dominating enough.

 How about judging the 11-4?

11-4 looks great to me for this year’s squad. Very very pleased to have that record. NFL is about Wins and Losses…more than anything. Ravens in the other conference are the only team with a better record than us. Second best record in the league. C’mon people. 11-4 heck yeah!!!!!

As long as it isn’t dealing with you talking about DT anybody momma again

I’m going out on a huge limb ‘calling it’ once again. Second game ….but I’m liking what I’m seeing in Kelee Ringo. It’s his job now. He’s not giving it up. Not Slay, Bradberry or draft pick….Ringo is our starting CB! Turned out to be another fantastic draft pick!

The next limb I’m going out on is that Hurts will score at least one more time with two games to go. Read over and over complaint after complaint about our QB1 this season. Jalen Hurts is going to be the player that has scored the most TDs EVER as an Eagle in a season. All those nitpicks and complaints ALL season long….during the season he scored the most ever. Scored more than any Eagle ever! Most! Ever!

I guess I look at it as the season is now in december and the offense hasn't improved over 15 games.  They continue to do the same mistakes that usually cost teams a lot in the playoffs.

This was the giants a the Linc......a below average team that the eagles couldn't put away until the last second.  If it were september or october, they could have the time to correct the problems.....it's december, with 2 games left and they still haven't put together a solid 60 minutes.

I've lost some respect for Sirianni because he's let these offensive problems continue week to week.  His misplaced confidence in bryan johnson has cost them the 1st round bye and still could cost them the division.

There is no justification for the eagles with all the talent they have on offense with talented RBs, 2 dangerous WR and top 5 TE, a very strong offensive line and Hurts to constantly be poor in the red zone, being careless with the ball and being unbelievably predictable.

But I see the same poor play calls, the bad situational calls, the same designed run calls for Hurts that risks his health, a passing game with too many come back routes and very little use of the backs.  They can't run a screen pass......

We can debate this over and over....... a win is all that matters.....but it's going to get harder over the next few weeks as teams want to play spoiler and then the playoffs.  The eagles haven't improved offensively in 15 weeks.......I just don't see how they improve in the next 2 to make a playoff run.

I don't think i've ever felt worse after a win.

Really good 1st half then they played like the Keystone Cops in the 2nd.

Hey Ham

Ya still think Covey needs to be replaced?

I thought the Oline looking improved. Cam is back at RG. Opeta filled in for Dickerson. Jalen looked pretty strong. I thought his pass on what? 3rd and 20? Had to float it over underneath defender with DB coming from inside also. 22yard completion to AJ was the play of the game to me. I can nitpick issues and agree with some of that with you. But it’s the 7th ranked O not that bad like you kind of nitpick it to sound. Hurts looks to be healthier NOW. That’s the huge difference entering playoffs. 7th ranked O with Hurts getting healthy and Cam back. Cam makes Oline trend up. Hurts health trending up.

I favored Allen. But I’ve always maintained that I expected Covey to improve. Thought it was a good battle and made the case for both players in the PS. He looks good returning….other than that little fumbled punt catch though last night….after the opening huge return.Cusp of Pro Bowl P returner in fact.

@birdman#12, are you so sure Johnson and Siri have cost us the first round bye? No chance Rams divisional rival that plays Niners very tough can beat them? I think we have a crap at the top seed. I’m not conceding the number one seed just yet Birdman.
