One thing's clear - if Lurie was looking to disenfranchise fans, he's succeeded with me. Been spending all this time getting rid of things that bug me - jobs around the house etc. I just can't be emotionally involved with the Eagles, they're simply entertainment this yr and going forward until I see an organization that holds promise - and it won't under this "leadership"  

This is more messed up that the no names were a few years ago. This is more messed up than Elway's lousy GM decisions. Hire Jason Garrett or Gruden and let's move on

Was a fan long before Howie, will be a fan long after he is gone.  Either he’ll help turn this franchise around (in which case all will be good again) or he won’t and he’ll get the boot (and again, all will be good).  Keep your head up, like anything else that life may throw at you, this is just a rough patch, we’ll get through it.

I don't know about that. The fans will continue to passionately support this team. I guess if the team struggles for several years that's when attendances may drop a little? But I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.

Didn't rush out and get a Hurts jersey. Bought nor wanted any Eagles gear this yr.

Was reading this story and just the complete cluster F handling and dealing with Wentz lol. Just terrible from FO giving him way to much power and say over flatting his ego... Coaches not being able to coach who or handle him. And just Wentz himself for his own lack of accountability.

Welp it's worse than I thought. Wentz needs to stay benched if we can't trade him. Sure he's the "star", but I have 52 other guys. I don't need Wentz's attitude. No Coach is going to want to come here and subject themselves to a QB they have to have "pissing matches" with. I can't blame anyone for turning down this job. Worse yet,any GM with a brain is NOT going to give up draft capital to bring in a DIVA. The way he treated this team is, for me, unforgivable. We made the mistake of making him a "god" and that's exactly what he acts like. I (personally) would bite the cap(like we'd have a choice) and make him ride pine for the 2 years left on his contract. By then he will be a "nobody special" and I would consider that a little payback to the other people on this team (and the fans).Wentz can KMA(this still doesn't excuse no balls Lurie letting Howie run this team into the ground,that is a separate disaster)

Attendance drops? 

Im lucky enough to be a season ticket holder for over 25 years. The Eagles sell out any remaining tickets(extremely low amount) in the matter of mins every year. That wont change ever here. I get you are not from here but the Eagles are life in the Philly area even when they suck. The wait list is a 50+ year wait if you get on it now. 

The only thing you will see is more season ticket holders trying to sell games. Even if some fans just dont go, they are still paying for the tickets so it wouldnt effect the revenue. The worst year I saw with attendance was Chips last year. Yes the seats were still filled at the start of the game but by halftime a lot cleared out. That is the most I could see happening again.

Reich and Flip had no issues with Wentz. Need a coach that can keep Wentz in check like the later two guys.

Disappointing the actions Laurie is taking .72 million over the Cap next yr, reported by some.... There has to be some impact especially attracting New Coaches. Limitations in attracting Free agents? His loyalty to Howie? Notwithstanding . We shall see.
