Carolina wants to move up and GIVE the least they can(obviously) that would target Cincy, but IDK what cincy would give up the 5

Love how you just changed now completely from ATL lmao.... Carolina wants a QB they would want the best guy possible if they can get there highest rated QB after Lawrence they will trade to get him.

Then it isn’t like Carolina is the only team interested in moving up for a QB either. Denver is likely in play, SF could be, doubtful with NE but guess can’t rule out completely.

Again makes more sense for Carolina to trade with the Jets or Miami over ATL.

Also think the Jets and Miami would love to be able to trade down

Best OT in the draft to protect my QB yea. I have a TE I trust still question marks at T

Wait, you just said other teams can get an OT later, but not us??? OK got it. Sry not passing on a mismatch STUD we will have for 5 years

Lmao but Miami won’t pass on that stud or trade away from him why wouldn’t they take the mismatch stud then at 3 and get the OT later

Sell the lot on Ebay

I’m just saying if Pitts is this massive of a mismatch stud how the hell is he falling to 6...

Why would a team pass on this massive stud. Jets are sticking with Darnold why not get him a mismatch stud in Pitts(though I think they favor Chase).

If Pitts is this mismatch STUD why not get him for Tua can get a OT later apparently.

LMAO who knows????? At 3 they can take anyone they feel like taking. TE is not a "prime spot" in the Miami offense. I suppose they could take him if they wanted to, I just don't think they would

If Sewell is a mismatch STUD why would he fall to 6? Works both ways

I don’t think Sewell falls to 6 I think he goes to Cincy at 5. But if Cincy trades out of 5 to Carolina then Sewell will be in our lap.

Jets take a chase

Miami- Smith makes a ton of sense or trading down with Carolina can get Waddle for Tua(or Slater)

Only other option I can see is Carolina stays put and takes Lance. IDK what their board looks like

Still say Jets go QB. Not changing my mind on that either

Wilson gives the Jets a chance to compete in the division. Darnold has already failed

not that valuable. But could be years later for a collector. I will just toss lol

I don;t think Carolina would give up the draft capital to move to 3

Give to your GK's then

Trade Ertz to Miami for pick 123(round 4 and some other late pick this year or next)). They have a TON of picks in 1,2,3

GB, allot depends on how many QB's are taken in the top 5. If it is 3 or more Pitts should be there at 6. If not then he may not be. Chase is a great WR so some may opt for him before Pitts. Depends on how they set their board I guess....  I looked at 8 rankings and of all that had Pitts top 4 they also had Chase ranked before him. So maybe Chase and Sewell are taken before Pitts. If not, we should still be able to get Chase which is not a bad deal....

IDK, not as sold on Chase as most are. I could be wrong. I agree if 3 QB go(to whomever) which is what I think happens that we'd have a shot at Pitts. CIncy could hold us hostage to force us to trade up to 5,but for Pitts I would. Wouldn't cost a ton to do. They could force us into that trade and get Chase at 6 instead of 5 lol. If Miami goes WR at 3 and ignores Sewell, then I would think a WR from Bama would be the pick because they are already used to the "left handed" ball spin

There is zero chance we would trade up to draft Pitts.

Depends if we think Cincy woud take Pitts no??? 6 to 5 isnt gonna cost alot

There was an interesting twitter exchange this morning that resulted in this tweet.

Chris Mortensen on Twitter: "@LesBowen I would not report the Eagles have internal unanimity on Hurts as QB1 but sources say the boss, Jeffrey Lurie, has instructed his group to prioritize making Hurts successful in 2021 as opposed to creating a true competition." / Twitter

I think that signals that we are going to take Chase, Smith, Pitts or Waddle at 6, and won't be moving up to grab a qb or down too far for more picks.

Another interesting note I saw was on next year's qb class.

Benjamin Allbright on Twitter: "Next year's QB class has some really interesting players in it too. It'll be interesting to see who steps up in that group... Howell, Rattler, Slovis, Pickett, Ridder, Strong, McCall, Nix, Purdy...etc." / Twitter

quincy_avery on Twitter: "Prolly missing the most talented in the class." / Twitter

Avery is a qb coach for guys like Watson, Hurts and Lance. He is really high on a qb from Liberty named Willis. Here is a highlight reel, some of which came against Va Tech, so he wasn't just beating up on Western Kentucky.

Malik Willis || "FEIGNING" || Official Liberty Flames Highlights - YouTube

It makes sense for the team to see what they have in Hurts while filling other holes, and then putting themselves in position to grab a qb next year if he doesn't work out. It's a good plan, although I would personally move back in the draft this year to gain more draft capital for next year, since if they need a qb, you want to have as many high picks as possible to get one.

Why would the Eagles announce they are committed to Hurts before the draft? Are they stupid or is it a smokescreen? You want as much value as possible and you want teams who need a QB to trade in front of you so Pitts and Chase fall.

It does seem like an odd thing to leak, and perhaps it is just a smokescreen. But my guess is that someone within the organization isn't happy with Lurie meddling with personnel decisions, and leaked the news to make it clear that this was his decision.

As far as the draft itself, I think either Chase or Pitts is going to be available at 6 regardless of what else happens, and if not Waddle and Smith are also decent targets. It's not like the world ends if we end up with Devonta Smith.

Exactly what I've been saying for the past several weeks.

Wirters need to stay employed,so any rumor will do lol. I think is was assumed by most already, so it's really no surprise to me

I would work my butt off to trade Ertz to Miami lol

I would take Miami's 4th for Ertz. It is at the top of the round so not a big deal. Heck trade Brooks to Cincy for their 4th. Then we have a 1 a 2 and two 3rds and fourths!
