Big time athletes...,making big time money pass rushing. Almost have to be mobile...other than the elite exception

I'm fine with a pocket passer that can move around in the pocket. First we need a pocket lol

I'm not winning this year... and there is no safety ranked up near 6.  So again, in THIS instance,  the Harris signing means zero for me in regards to draft.

SO, if Moherig is at  37 and we needed another position filled you would take Moehrig over say a CB or LB that weighted out the same? I covered S for a year in FA, so now I can wait until later for a more developmental guy. It doesn't mean I gave up on the position does it?. So if you took Moehrig over another spot you need to fill, you need to be Howies right hand man. SO yeah, for me the S signings affected my draft because now if faced with 2 similars,I take the other one since S is not a need AT THIS MOMENT. That doesn't mean I don't pick up a later guy .If the "other guy" I chose pans out then I can look at adding a top S in the NEXT draft. it's a fluid process, but your FA's absolutely affect your draft board. If I had 3 guys ,a S, a CB and a WR at the same level,I put a line through S right now

A pretty good mock draft here.

2021 NFL mock draft: Eagles land a haul of good players | RSN (nbcsports.com)

Pitts, Stokes, Amari Rodgers and Jordan Smith (DE) are the first four picks, which all seem solid. Rodgers is a guy I like and Smith has really good bend, so he is a guy worth drafting in the third.

His fifth rounders seem unrealistic as I think they will be gone by that time. The rest seem fine. I like his developmental qb he takes in the sixth. KJ Costello had a big year at Stanford in 2018 before getting hurt the next season and then transferring to a system that didn't fit his style. He is clearly a guy worth taking a flyer on.

Looks like my mock which y'all bash HAHAHAHA. I had Fields before but replaced him with Barnes(Purdue),but the positioning here is just like the mock I have been sending you haters HAHAHA. I have Newsome over his pick, but his pick is fine if newsome is gone. See you haters????

This is fine and dandy but most teams have grades or rating whatever you want to call it.

Of course all this is done before the draft but again it begs the question two guys equally tiered graded whatever 1a and 1b however you want to label it. What is the difference between those picks and reality is could be what you have already.

It’s easy to say take BPA but it isn’t black and white lots of greys mixed in on how you define best player

Give up,he doesn't get it lol

Ironically,  I was making my last post as you wrote yours.  Hope that helps explain my opinion.  I go LB for reasons stated....Harris no impact on that.

Why do you assume we won't resign him??? If he likes it here, we sign him again, and although thats not a given, I have bought myself a year to find another S either in the next FA or the next draft or one of my developmental guys steps up. I will sign FA"s until I find a draftee that is good enough I dont need to

Totally wrong. 2020 is the issue of getting players in here and doing the best you can with them. Just because I am rebuilding doesn't mean I am going to tank 17 games

We can hopefully make it exciting losses at least

Hurts clearly provided a spark

I had sparks when my tranny went out. The "sparks" were pine riding guys who hadn't played before in alot of spots, especially the tank game. When your QB sucks rocks,ANY new guy is a "spark"  SO Wentz was 3-8 and Hurts was 1-4,so percentage wise Wentz was better

So then who would you pick is the question??? Again think it is false to say Harris doesn’t slightly alter that mindset.

For me if I had a S and another position Graded evenly if look at who I thought would provide the bigger impact who can help your team more.

That LB evenly graded with that S likely gets the edge and part of that equation likely has to do with having Harris and McLeod already

That’s absolutely why Free Agency is first. It matters for the draft.

FL can do all themock drafts he wants...but it things change drastically from free agents. You can definitely target certain FA. The best ones are the ones you didn’t think would come at such a good price though...and you have to pull the trigger.
So we need somebody running a FA mock to pair with FL’s draft mock.

Again it’s easy to just take your clear cut top guy when it’s just him but that rarely the case you have multiple guys on your boards rated closely or evenly even what are the deciding factors over going that S or that LB

Yes, sometimes you have a guy that fell sticking out like a sore thumb. It’s easy. I believe that’s how they felt about Dillard. But most of the time you got a board of four or five players....one of them goes the pick before you. So then you have to choose.

IDK when we took Hurts was it because we were looking for a QB?

BG.  Pay attention here.  The grading is the first part.  I'm talking about the final list.  Always needs to be in a vertical order ....a final one,  because you only pick one at a time.  A guy like Harris should not change anything.  I agree with you in principle... just not this specific instance with Harris, Idk if I can be any clearer? It's about Harris... as you say...LMAO.

I need all the lists. Master board. Position board. Swing for the fences picks board. HOF potential water boy board.

Pitts, Newsome(Stokes is fine), Tylan Wallace(Rodgers is fine) then I have Twyman(DL) instead of a DE, but pretty close to the 4 I had

This is JP all over again.... We should have been letting Graham contract run out to move on from him not extending him

If they continue on after this contract I’d agree.

Lmao wow Hurts is better then fields right now that is a stretch. 52% what 10 turnovers think you are overvaluing Hurts WAY to much.

If I was grading Hurts vs this class he is at best 4th QB think 5th is more likely that with his 1 year advantage in the nfl

Lawrence is better. I’m partial to Wilson. I think Hurts comes in with a huge gap behind him at number three

Lol... how them stats working for Miller, Murray, Tua ..etc?    It will be an improvement if we can score a TD in the second half of a game.

It will be an improvement if our defense stops anybody ....ever

I’d agree with both Lawrence and Wilson being better but nothing indicates Hurts is better then fields it’s honestly the complete opposite in my eyes.

Fields has the better arm and is a better passer right now than Hurts. Want to look at the added bonus of there legs Fields is superior in that aspect as well. Not sure how anyone could say Hurts is better based on what we were given with him.

And I’m not all that high on Fields but I’d still say right now between the him and Hurts I’d put Fields higher.

Adoree signing with NY missed opportunity by the Eagles.

Signed for 3 years 39m I was close said 3 years 35m. Shame had a chance at a player entering his prime at a reasonable cost

Tough to do for any defense  when they are on the field 40 minutes a game because the O can't avoid 3 and outs and the QB tosses multiple picks per game lol

Gnats are in win now mode.they put a team together. I'm with 123, they are the division winners if they put all this together

We don't have the loot yet. We got under the cap at the deadline, but we can't go over it,so Ertz is the anchor lol

What did I miss

There are a bunch of women making accusations against him.

Guilty or not it makes him hard to pick up unless he's cleared.
