I heard he had a really nice back and forth with Slay. Only one play I know but I'm sure I heard he was looking better day by day.

Yeah I heard that he caught an 80 yard TD just yesterday.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

I think it's too early to be writing him off. People seem keen to write him off but he needs a bit of time here. We need to see more of course we do but let's not write him off entirely yet.

Per Kempski and BLG's camp breakdowns:

Dillard has looked terrible, they don't think he'll make the team, and they'll find a taker for him in a trade. Said no reason to keep him because he has one of the highest camp numbers on the team and he's not one of the 53 best players on the team.

Reagor has looked awful. Tragedy aside, whenever he's practiced he's been awful. Has been run off his routes and has no timing with the QBs.

Mailata has been awesome.

Quez Watkins has really impressed.

Jason Huntley got praise from Kempski, BLG and the BWF guys as well.

Zech Mcphearson gotten high praise from every Eagles reporter. Say he might be the standout of camp for all the young guys.

It’s really encouraging to see these young guys have a good camp. Quez seems like a dark horse player this year that could be the reason Eagles might win a game or two.  From what I’ve read and gathered is that Reagor has just been…there. Nothing good nor bad. Certainly not the step forward we were hoping for but also not regressing. Which is still disappointing, but hey at least it’s not Justin Jefferson.

They very nearly made the playoffs last year with the worst QB play in the NFL, an OL that wouldn't start in the SEC, and WRs that wouldn't start in the old Big East.  This is a *special* division.  They could easily make the playoffs with Hurts having a bad, discouraging year.

That is very unlikely to be the case this year.

I’ll disagree the sixers decided it was smart when they had cap space to spend it on horford. They are paying for the mistakes of bad drafting but also when they actually had cap (not this year) they pissed it away on horford who was old, breaking down and a horrific fit instead of spreading it out and getting guys. Instead of spending wisely they wanted a fourth star (thought Harris could be that at the time— he’s not)

Don't disagree about Horford.  But truth is getting FA to come to Philly has nothing to do with cap mismanagement.   They have drafted well over the past few seasons.

Nice to see a Phillies game not take 4 hours.

And they didn't give up a run in the 9th!  Remarkable.

Only if Dak got hurt again

Which would be the worst case scenario. It would take a boat load to trade up for an unproven prospect when they finish 7-10 or 8-9, miss the playoffs and have the 16th pick

Worst case scenario is trading for Watson.

Tom Donohoe just punched a hole through the drywall in Howie’s office.

Isn't this the guy Tom wanted over Milton and shunned Howie of his pound?

Lol. I didn’t even bother refreshing the page because I didn’t think anyone would post about Alim McNeill.

I like Caplan, but on his latest podcast he said Sweat was going to start over Barnett, or at least get most of the snaps. This after he’s been pretty much the guy banging the "Sweat can’t play a lot of snaps because of his knee” drum.

That’s quite a turnaround.

Dillard and Reagor are a real nice back-to-back on Howie's resume.

Add in the fact we face the reality of losing both the 2017 1st in Barnett, who's underwhelmed for his draft slot and just restructured the last year of his contract, as well as DG, who was the 1st pick of 2018 who is looking to get PAID.

Maybe we should just trade all of our picks for Watson.  I really don't want to trade them but goodness what a disaster he is at drafting.  My train of thought is if he ha multiple 1st round picks, there's a better chance he hits on one of them but maybe that needs to go out the door.

Sweat had a pop at Mosher on Twitter, asking to stop spreading that crap about his knee. I think Caplan is chucking mud at the wall just to say, "As I told you in July...."

Jordan Matthews sounded like he was the next TO during his rookie year training camp.... We all know how that ended.

So what?  An 80 yard TD from Reagor is terrible!  Don’t you remember his 73 yard PR TD last season where people said he looked slow as molasses and just meandered down the field to the end zone?

Reagor can’t be any good no matter what he does.

That was Watkins. Some reporters confused him for Reagor

Jalen Reagor sucks.

The math checks out

Is it just me or is the training camp coverage getting worse every year? It seems like most notes have a few bullet points and there's barely any videos compared to a lot of teams.

Interesting.

When the Eagles are better we'll get to see more.  At least that is my theory.

It's probably not the time to defend Reagor of all players.  Seems silly timing.

People on here defended Agholor for 5 years when he was adequate at his best.  I'll give Reagor more time.

I completely agree with your point. The failed conditioning test worries me, though.

What did the conditioning test entail?

This season is win win. Hurts will either do well and show glimpses of a franchise QB or play terribly which means we have at least a top 10 pick.

I don’t really see a reason to be so negative towards him when the season hasn’t started. It’s not like we’re contenders and are just a solid QB away from competing.

There's the negative that Hurts plays just ok and Howie decides to keep him

Complete opposite is my opinion.

Well, hopefully we won't have to wait too many years to see who is more accurate.
